(Giovannie's POV)

"Moretti, are you serious?" Nick gapped down at me, looking incredulous.

"Yeah," I crossed my arms, "why not? It would give the two of you a chance to actually get to know each other."

"Aw, Moretti, don't do it. It's not a good idea."

I waved a hand, already headed to the front door. "Of course its a good idea, in fact...it's a fantastic idea!" Those two really needed to get along and this opportunity was perfect for them. A sleep over! Then they'd get to know each other more and maybe get along.

      I'm a genious!

******

"You're an idiot!"

Jenna punched my arm within 3 minutes after tellin her of my plan. "Giovannie you friggin' nut!" She socked me again.

"Hey!" I backed way, rubbing my abused arm, "stop that."

She glared at me. "You are so...so stupid. Don't you ever think before acting?"

I opened my mouth but she cut me off with, "of course you don't! That's your problem, Gio, you don't think. Why do you have a brain if you're not going to use it?"

      Ouch.

"But Nick was going to be all alone in that house. His mom is in the hospital Jenna."

"Yeah, and I'm sorry for that, I really am but don't drag Hunter into your little games again. Go spend the night with Nick but don't invite Hunter along. Are you crazy?"

I opened my mouth and she cut me off again with, "of course you're crazy! Only a crazy person would come up with something like this. Tell me, Gio, do you like creating more mess for yourself?"

I puffed my cheek but didn't reply. Okay, so maybe it hadn't been my brightest of ideas but the thought of Nick and Hunter becoming friends made me happy. The two guys I care about getting along? What more could I ask for?

      "Selfish," Jenna muttered.

      "What was that?"

She socked me again, "I said you're selfish! A selfish self-centered fool!" She made a move to attack again but this time I avoided it, ducking and going to the other side of my bed.

I held up my hands to ward her off. "Jenna, calm down." Her face was really turning red. I'm starting to think she may pop a blood vessel or something.

"I'll calm down when you stop being stupid."

I cleared my throat. "Too late, I already called Hunter over here."

      "What!?"

I jumped on the other side when she went around the bed to hit me again. "Gio!" She shrieked. "Come here and let me pound you!"

      "Woman, are you nuts?"

      "Giovannie."

Startled, I jumped and turned around. Hunter stood at the enterance of my bedroom door. And he didn't look happy.

I smiled anyway. "Hunter, you came!"

"Oh good," Jenna glared at me, "now there are two people here who can beat some sense into you."

"What's the meaning of this?" Hunter held up his cell phone. "I recieved a text message from you."

      "Uh huh."

"It said to come over with some clothes or else."

      "Yup."

"Oh god," Jenna gapped at me. "You didn't tell the reason why you called him over here?"

I glanced between the two of them. "Um...guilty."

Jenna's face relaxed, suddenly looking more serene than ever. She nodded. "Okay." I watched her calmly walk pass me and Hunter.

      "Where are you going?"

She paused by the door and looked at me. "I'm going to get Dad's hunting knife. I feel like hunting a certain someone tonight." With that said, she walked out.

My eyes widened. Oh shit. I grabbed my already packed bag and took Hunter's hand, pulling him out the door with me. "Come on Hunter before Jenna finds that knife."

I made it a little past the door before Hunter jerked me back. "Giovannie, mind telling me what's going on?"

"We're going to a sleep over."

"I see." There was no expression on his face now. "Where?"

I looked at him carefully before daring to answer. "Nick's house."

      "I see." Still no reaction.

I began to relax. Okay...maybe I can loosen up now. He didn't seem upset nor did he seem happy but at least he wasn't yelling at me. I probably should have told him the reason why I wanted him to come over and I swear I was going to but at the last minute I had chickened out. Sue me.

"Giovannie," Hunter said said calmly. A little too calmly. Hmm...not a good sign.

      "Y-yes?"

He pulled me back into my room and closed the door. He backed me into it until my back was pressed against the door before answering. "Do you, by any chance, love to see me angry?"

      My eyes widened. "No."

"Good, because we're not going to his house for a damn sleep over."

I straightened. It was a known fact that no one told Giovannie Moretti what to do unless you're his parents. And Hunter was neither my mother or my father. Okay...and Jenna.

      "I'm going."

His eyes narrowed dangerously. "No, you are not."

      "Yes. I. Am."

      "Damn it, Giovannie!"

I pushed him back, standing my ground. "Look, you don't like Nick, I get that but don't you think your hatred for him is a little unreasonable? You don't even know the guy."

"I know that he wants you."

"Well by golly! That's the worst offense ever! Better call the White House."

Hunter glared at me, clearly not amused by my sarcasm. "We're not going."

I glared back. "Fine. You don't have to go but I will." I turned to open the door.

      "Don't."

I paused, turning my head to look at him. "What?"

"Don't go. Don't go to him."

And there it was, the look that I never thought would cross his handsome features. Vulnerable For the second time since meeting him, Hunter looked  vulnerable. I sucked in a breath and let it out slowly. Geez, why'd he have to show me that face now? It really wasn't fair.

I turned to face him. "Hunter, Nick is all alone right now. His mother is in the hospital because she got sick when he wasn't around. And you know why? Because of me. I was the reason why he hadn't been there for his mother for an entire week. Me."

I took a step towards him until we were only inches apart. "He was there for me and now its my turn to be there for him. And...and I want you to be there too because I really think that you two would become friends if you got to know each other."

      "It's not that easy, Giovannie."

I patted his cheek. "Sure it is. All you have to do is say yes and go with me."

      "You're asking for too much."

"I'm only asking you to give it a shot. Get to know Nick."

His lips tightened and he looked ready to refuse again so I took advantage of his weakness for me. I know, I know, I should be ashamed of myself. Bad Gio, bad!

"Please?" I gave him my best puppy dog eyes, "for me?"

      His hazel eyes narrowed.

"Please?" I said pleaded softly, planting a light kiss on his cheek. "Pretty please?" I planted another on his chin. "With whip cream on top?" I flicked my tongue on his nose.

"Is seduction always the answer to solutions for you?"

I flinched. Ouch...that was a slap to the face. I felt my cheeks turn red and I huffed. "Oh, nevermind! You can stay here but I'm going." I paused and shot him a sly glance. "And don't blame me if something happens between Nick and I...all alone in that house...where anything can happen." I shrugged. "Who knows."

      He cursed. "Fine."

I smiled. "Hmm? What was that?"

Hunter clenched his teeth. "I said fine. I'll go."

I nearly snickered but I held back. No need to get him even more upset.

****

We arrived at Nick's house thirty minutes later.

Hunter had to go to his house to get some over night stuff since he hadn't packed like I had told him to. Meh. Anyway, the ride to Nick's house had been a quiet one. Hunter was mad and wouldn't talk to me. The big baby.

"Nicky!" I smiled at Nick when he opened the door. "I'm baaaack!"

He nodded, his eyes landing on Hunter. Hunter stood behind me and I'm sure his expression mirrored Nick's. They both weren't pleased with the situation. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's all my fault. That didn't stop me from walking right in carrying my bag stuffed with personal items.

"Hunter," I heard Nick greet him stifly.

"Nick," Hunter greeted back just as stifly.

I rolled my eyes. Oh for the love of Gaga.

"I didn't think that you'd agree to come," Nick said, closing the door.

"You thought wrong." There was no missing the steely warning in his voice.

      "Right...gotcha."

I looked back at them and rolled my eyes again. Geez, they were like two pet bulls eyeing one another like that, trying to intimidate one another. I'm surprised one of them hadn't lifted their legs to mark me as their territory.

"Look, Nicky," I took out a couple of DVDs from my bag, "I brought movies."

Without taking his eyes away from Hunter he asked, "What is it?"

      "The Twilight Saga."

Both boys looked at me then. I fought back a laugh. They had identical looks on their faces. A cross between disbelief and disgust.

      "You're kidding, right Moretti?"

"Nope." I waved the DVDs in the air, "we're going to watch all three. Got the other one in the bag."

Nick walked up to me and grabbed the DVDs. "You weren't kidding. Seriously though, Twilight?"

I shrugged. "Why not? I've only watched the 1st movie and decided to just watch all three with you guys."

      "This is a chick flick."

"Don't be sexist, Nicky." I took the DVDs back from him, "if Jenna was here she'd kick you in the balls."

After herding them in the family room where the big flat screen t.v. was kept, I went to the kitchen and took out the very important ingredient in my plan from my bag. Beer. Yup, I was going to get those two totally wasted. Beer was the perfect way to get those two to loosen up and maybe talk heart to heart.

"Tada!" I popped back in the family room. "Lookie what I have."

Hunter's brows furrowed. "Where'd you get those from?"

"Se-cret." I handed one to Nick before handing the other to Hunter. "Drink up boys!"

An hour into the first movie both boys had drank two bottles each. 30 minutes into the 2nd movie they had drank a whole case of beer. I'm pretty sure I heard Nick muttering "oh fuck me," along the way. And it wasn't the good kind. Guess they didn't like the movie. Pfft.

"What's up with this chick?" Nick grunted, "is she in love with that Fredward-"

      "Edward," I corrected him.

"Edward guy or that Jacob guy?"

      "Keep watching the movie."

      Another grunt.

I glanced at Hunter who hadn't said a single word since we started watching the movies. He glanced back at me before returning his attention back to the movie. I glanced at Nick and grinned. He looked like he was being tortured. Heh.

Actually...this was pretty nice. Sitting between these two felt...comfortable. Safe. I snuggled my back on the couch. Yup, felt very nice. Warm and cozy, nice. Yup...nice.

It was there, while sitting between them when the idea popped in my head. It was like POOF! There it is. I scrambled up, searching my pants for my wallet.

"Moretti?" Nick frowned, probably wondering what the heck I was doing.

"Tada!" I took out the card from my wallet and shoved it in their view. "Found it!"

Nick squinted, reading the card. "A&J Lagoon? What's that?"

"It's a club!" I took my place back between them, grinning. Why hadn't I thought of this sooner!? I mean, it's perfect! Instead of sitting all night watching movies we could be out having some fun. Why not? Nick needed some fun time for once.

Hunter took the card from me and frowned, forehead furrowing. "This is a 21 and over club, Giovannie."

I snatched the card back. "No duh. Remember Aaron?" They both looked at me, faces blank. I rolled my eyes. "That guy from the 18 and under club? The one I left with when..." Okay, I shouldn't bring that little episode up. Judging from their faces, they were remembering it quite well now.

I cleared my throat. "Anyway, he gave me this card before we parted ways. He said he and his business partner owned it."

Nick frowned. "Why would he give that to you?"

"Because he invited me to come check it out."

      "Moretti, we're underage."

"Pffffft!" My eyes rolled again. "Yeah, I know but obviously he didn't care. He said to call him and he'd hook us up and let us in for free."

      "We're not going."

I turned to Hunter and huffed. "And why not?"

His eyes narrowed. "Because it's not safe."

"Hunter, there will be like what, dozens and dozens of people there?"

      "That's not the point."

I stood, facing them. "Oh come on guys, let's have some fun. It's either go to this club FOR FREE and have some fun or..." I glanced at the T.V behind me, "keep watching Twilight and be stuck in here together all night."

Nick scratched his head. "I don't know..."

"We're not going," Hunter repeated firmly.

"Fine," I lifted up my chin, "then I'll go alone."

"Aw, Moretti, don't do that. It's a dumb idea."

      "Then go with me."

"Why do you want to go all of a sudden?"

"Because us boys needs to do a little bonding and what better way to do that than going to our very first adult club together."

"You're being impulsive again," Hunter said cooly, "going there will just bring us more trouble." Clearly he meant it would bring him more trouble. The guy would probably designate himself as my bodyguard and glare at any man or woman who approaches me.

      Meh.

I waved a hand at him in dismissal. "Nah, we're three guys, not girls. I'm sure we can take care of ourselves."

      "No." Was Hunter's flat reply.

I glared at him then turned my focus on Nick. "Well? What about you?"

"Uh..." he glanced at Hunter before looking back at me and shaking his head. "As much as I hate to agree with this guy...he's right, Moretti."

Ooooooooh, so this is when they'd decided to unite as one, when I was the one trying to do something that would bring us closer together. Backward bastards.

"Fine then, don't go." I walked around the couch, "I'll go by myself."

Hunter stood and grabbed my arm. "Giovannie."

I lifted a brow. I wasn't about to let him intimidate me. "Your choice guys. Either you two go with me or I go alone."

Nick stood. "Is there a third choice?"

"Nope," I smiled cheerfully, popping the P.

He sighed. "Then count me in."

I grinned, looking at Hunter. "Well?"

Hunter glared at me. I'm pretty sure he was imagining himself choking me right about now. Yeah...I tended to have that affect on people. Heh.

After what seemed like forever he finally gave in, cursing under his breath. "Fine, I'll go, but-" he gave me a stern look, "at the first sign of trouble we're leaving, got that?" Translation? When I say we go, we go, no arguments.

"Sure, sure," I agreed, patting his arm, "whatever you say."

All that mattered is that they both gave into me in the end. I'm such a brat. ;)

***

We arrived at A&J Lagoon an hour later, exactly 10 at night.

We could have been there sooner if we went there as we were, dressed in our street clothes but I had insisted that we dress up. Nick had stayed home to get ready while Hunter took us back to our houses to get other clothes. We drove back to Nick's house after picking up our things and got ready there.

I had actually called the number Aaron had provided for me on the back of the card before getting ready. He said it was his personal number and would be able to reach him faster there. And what do ya know? He picked up on the third ring. When I told him who I was he was more than willing to let us come in for free. I gave out hints that we weren't exactly of age but he just blew it off so off we went to his club.

"Gio!" He greeted me with a big smile. There was actually a line but he escorted us in as his VIP guests. Impressive. Talk about the royal treatment. So like royalty,I gave a regal wave to the people standing in line as we passed them, shooting winks to a couple of giggling girls.

"Hey, Aaron," I smiled back at him, "thanks for letting us in."

"No problem," he grinned. "I was beginning to think that you forgot all about me."

No point in telling him that I had til like an hour ago. "Yeah, sorry about that. I've been...busy."

"Oh no doubt." Aaron glanced behind me at Hunter and Nick. "So...where's your pretty twin?"

"Home." Thank god. I had to sneak into my room in order to get my stuff without getting caught by Ms. Wonder Woman.

"Well," he tsked, "that's too bad."

I didn't reply. To get into his club we had to climb up some stairs before reaching another bouncer who guarded the door. Aaron nodded to him and he nodded back without looking at us. Weird.

"So," I said, glancing around as we entered the booming club that looked more like a rave party, "why were you in that club if you already owned one?"

"Checking out the competition," Aaron said, shooting me a wink. "Good thing too because then I wouldn't have run into you."

I heard a growl from behind me. Must be Hunter. I glanced back and shot him a look. Down Boy. Nick looked...he just looked out of place and uncomfortable. Poor guy. A little alcohol will fix that. I still planned for these two to loosen up and get to know one another.

"Welcome to my club," Aaron told us, taking us to the island bar where they held all the drinks. "Harry!" He called out to the bar tender, "why don't you give my friends some shots of tequila."

"Will do boss," Harry the bartender grinned at us while sliding us small shots of tequila. "Drink up, boys."

I took a glass and waited til Hunter and Nick took theirs. Aaron grabbed one for himself and lifted it up to toast mine. "Bottoms up."

And coincidently, Trey's song "Bottoms Up" blasted around us.

I glanced at Hunter. He didn't look pleased...of course. I glanced at Nick. He was staring at the glass in his hand as if it was an alien object. I sighed and turned my attention back to Aaron. Well...guess I have my work cut out for me tonight with those two.

I grinned at Aaron at clinked my glass against his. "Bottoms up!"

      I took the shot.
