This is a picture I took of a bird dangling from a wire that was stuck in a tree just in front of my home.
The wire had gotten tangled into this poor birds wing and was destroying it. Don't worry, we were able to save it somehow and it was able to fly away, though it will definitely take time for it to heal completely.
This makes makes me infuriated. How OUR actions are affecting animals lives. This isn't right. Animals are living things too.
Incase you ever find an animal in pain please please try to help it. We had to climb on a huge ladder and tie various sticks together with a sharp knife at the end to cut the wire because the longer it stayed there the more it was in danger. It took too long for the firefighters to arrive.
Infact they arrived when it had flown away after its rescue.
It relieved me, to see that it was safe but just imagine.... how many other birds just like that must die in that helpless state?
