You are the moon to my Earth,
You keep my heart beating,
Like the moon keeps the waves moving.

You showed me that there is light,
Even at the darkest times,
Like the moon shines on the darkest of nights,
We may not always see it,
But it's there.

You are the moon to my Earth,
And I thank you for making sure I shine,
Even at the darkest of times.
