"Where is it?" I mumble as I walk around the streets of Manhattan. I look at my two rings; one has a crescent moon and the other a wolf. I fiddle with my wolf necklace. I look down at what I am wearing; a dark blue hoodie with a black T shirt under it, black leggings with gray boots. I turn and see my apartment. I open the door and see my roommate , Miaria.
"Hey Miaria!" I say to her "Hey Raven." She says smiling. I yawn and look at the clock . 9:00 PM it says ."Well I am heading to bed." I tell her . She nods. "Me too" she says . I walk into my room and flop onto my bed. I close my eyes and fall asleep...
*time skip to morning*
I wake up and sit up on my bed. I look at the clock. 6:00 AM . Time to get ready for school. I walk over to the other side of my room to Miaria's bed and shake Miaria. "Wake up woman its time to get ready for school." I tell her and pull her blankets off of her and throw them into the floor. She grabs her blankets and crawls back into a ball and goes back to sleep.  "That's it." I walk into the kitchen and grab a huge cup and open the freezer and put half a cup of ice into it. I walk over to the sink and fill it up with water. I walk back into our room and dump the cup of ice water on her. "SH*T! THAT'S F*CKING COLD!" she yells and gets up and  I slaps me. "Watch your mouth young lady..." I tease "HOW THE F*CK WOULD YOU REACT IF SOMEONE POURED F*CKING ICE WATER ON YOU AT F*CKING 6:00 IN THE F*CKING MORNING?!?!" She screams "You wouldn't get up and we need to get ready for school." I say to her and pick out an out fit; my Rings and Necklace (as usual) , a midnight blue T shirt with a gray jacket , gray leggings , and my black boots. I walk into my bathroom and get dressed. I put on some dark teal blue eyeliner and some mascara. I walk out of my bathroom. I look at Miaria. She is wearing a gray shirt with black jeans and boots. I at her gray eyes. "Sorry about waking you up . " I say to her. "It's fine Raven." She says grabbing her gray bag. I grab my teal blue bag. I walk into the kitchen and look at the time.6:30 AM . I make us some eggs and Bacon for breakfast. "Miaria, I made you some eggs and bacon ." I tell her. We sit down and eat. After we finished eating I looked at the clock. 6:45 AM . "Ready to go Miaria?" She nods . I open the door.
*time skip*
I we sit down in our 1st period class; Language Arts. I look to my right and see a girl with long blonde hair and gray eyes. "Hi, I'm Raven." I say to her. She looks at me "I'm Annabeth " she says. I smile at her. "This is my friend Miaria" I say pointing at Miaria. "Nice to meet you " Miaria says.

*time skip*
I get up and grab my bag off the floor and I walk out into the hall way with Miaria and Annabeth. All a sudden a huge Wolf-like creature materializes in front of us. Annabeth curses. "What is that Wolf-thing?!" Miaria and I ask her. "You guys can see it?" She asks, we nod. "It's a Hellhound." She explains" I have heard of them before... aren't they from Greek Mythology? " I question "Yes, they are." Annabeth says "If I remember correctly, aren't they from the Underworld? " I ask "Yes, they are, but why aren't you shocked by this?" She asked "well I've ran into other things from Greek Mythology before..." I explain. The Hellhound runs at Miaria.
"NO!" I jump in front of Miaria and put my hand out as the Hellhound runs at me. It stops in front of me. "What In Hades?" Annabeth says. I pet the Hellhound. She barks happily. "I'm going to name you ... Shadow. " I tell her. She licks me. I smile . Annabeth's eyes widen. "Oh Gods , you guys need to come with me. I know a camp where you will be safe!" She explains "fine but at least let us stop at our apartment and get our stuff." I say to her. "Fine but we will have to hurry!" She "Our apartment is not to far from here!" We explain as we run down the street "here!" I open the door and run to our room. I grab my big teal bag and put some stuff in it; extra clothes, food, a blanket, my makeup,my art supplies, a tent,a sleeping bag and some other stuff. I look at Miaria . "You ready?" She nods and grabs her bag. We run out. I see a blue car in front of the apartment building. "We are going to have to steal a car." I say to them. They nod. I punch the car window and unlock the door. "Huh the keys and in here. " I unlock the door for them. "I call shotgun (front seat)" Annabeth says and gets in. Miaria gets in the back. I turn the car on. "Umm, is this a good time to say I don't really know how to drive.." I say ." I do" Annabeth says "okay switch me seats ." I tell her. We switch seats.
*time skip *
"We are are almost there, about half a mile. " she says "Ummm guys, there is some thing behind us..." Miaria says, panicked. Annabeth Curses "its a Cyclops, and not one of the good ones." She says " what do you mean by 'good ones' ?" Miaria asks "My boyfriend, Percy Jackson his brother is a Cyclops." She explains . "Almost there just a little far-" the car flips "DAMN IT TO HADES WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE SIMPLE FOR ONCE!" Annabeth yells as we get out of the car and start running. "All we have to do is make it to the camp. Once we do we will be safe." She explains "just up this hill and we will be-" the Cyclops roars "You guys go ahead! I will take care of him!" I say and take my two rings off , they transform into silver swords. "No! I won't leave you, Raven!" Miaria says "I SAID GO! I WILL BE FINE!" I yell at her and run at the Cyclops with inhuman speed. I slice the Cyclops with my swords. I will my swords back into their ring forms. I turn and follow the others. "I told you I would be fine. " I say to Miaria . " How did you do that ? How did you know your rings were swords? " Miaria asks "I-I didn't know they were swords . I just did it instinctively I guess..." I say . Annabeth turns around. "Welcome to Camp Half Blood." She smiles
