Back at the hotel, I finished packing the last of our belongings. Faith was sprawled out on a chair--watching tv. A Disney movie to be exact!
"Wasn't that really nice of Mr and Mrs McCartney to meet us at the beach?" Nonchalantly my daughter asked, still staring at the screen."And I got to play with Mary, Stella and little James too!"
"Oh how nice." I replied with a sarcastic comment. Luckily, Faith wasn't paying too much attention.
"Can I go and visit them one day? To hang out?"
I coughed a little, " We'll see. The McCartney's are a busy family."
She shrugged, " Okay."

Blankly I sat staring at the newspapers and magazines in front of me. Still my mind couldn't grasp the black and white print: JOHN LENNON DIES FROM GUNSHOT WOUNDS.
Just a few months prior, I had the pleasure of working with him on his album. Such a kind and generous soul, he was. Grabbing a piece of paper from the desk drawer, I found a pen and began writing.
Paul and Linda,
You have no idea how very sorry I am on the loss of John Lennon.
I've had the pleasure of working with him a few months ago in New York.
I'm not quite sure what else to say.
I'm still at a loss for words!
Yours Truly,
Angela Gordon
