"I know too well" she looks my way "during my human days I had a wife, a family. My eldest was six and my youngest hadn't been born yet, being forced to leave them and never say goodbye was very hard. I watched from a distance and watching them move on was difficult but it made me happy, knowing that they were moving on. That they weren't stuck"

"I don't know what to say" she buttons up her shirt, smoothing out her hair. We watch as Autumn comes back from class, she's decided to go into medicine like her dad did. Apparently when she was in Seattle and being a doctor for her friend Haley, something just clicked and she fell in love with the idea of helping people medically.
