"So" Bonnie asks me "you know who your birth parents are and won't tell Elena and won't introduce them?"

"I know it's an asshole move" she and I are in her room, her grandmother is teaching me about connecting more to the elements since I'm connected to nature like a witch is. Her grandmother is great "but I'm respecting Isobel's wishes, for some reason she doesn't want anything to do with Elena and my birth father doesn't even know that I know"

"Have you tried talking to him?" Plopping her head on her hand "your birth father?"

"A few times..." my phone goes off and it's Galen, answering it after a moment "yeah?"

"Where's your ancestor's journal?" He asks me "John Gilbert's journal?" Why does he want to know about that? "Autumn it's important"

"Jeremy gave it to Ric" Alaric told me that I can call him Ric, fret some time he told me that I reminded him a lot of Isobel. Not so much Elena but me, yes "Galen? What's going on?"

"I'll explain later" he hangs up

"Everything" Bonnie asks "alright?"

"Probably vampire business" looking to Bonnie "Galen has never done anything for me to mistrust him before, if he says that I should trust him to tell me later then I trust him"

"What about the Salvatore Brothers?" She asks "do you trust them? Because I don't trust Damon?"

"This will sound weird" crossing my arms laying my head on them "but it's the truth. I trust Damon more than Stefan, I don't feel safe with either at the moment. Not without Galen but with Damon? I trust his intentions more, sure I'll withhold information from him but only to tell him the truth when it's convenient in the moment. If I tell him false information he'll kill me, he loves Katherine" and what's sad is that Katherine doesn't love Damon, if she did then she'd be with him right now.

"What happens" she asks "when he finds out she's not in the tomb?"

"He needs to see with his owns eyes" Galen asked me the same thing, Damon won't be too happy "which is why Galen will be next to me when I tell Damon" Bonnie's grandmother, Sheila, enters the room smiling to us.

"How are you girls doing?" She asks, looking to me "Autumn? Have you been working on the exercises?"

Nodding my head "The all the elements but air are a bit more difficult"

She chuckles "I wouldn't be surprised, air is the hardest of the four elements for even a witch to handle. Only a witch who specializes in that specific area can truly handle the element, but those of us who are connected to all four it will take time. I have no doubt you'll succeed" looking to Bonnie "and shouldn't you be getting ready for your date?"

She leaves us then and I look to Bonnie smiling "Date? Tell me everything? What's his name? What does he look like? How did you meet?"

Bonnie laughs "His name is Logan"

"Uncle John?" I ask as Galen and I were walking down the steps seeing my birth father here with Aunt Jenna, Jeremy and Elena left some time ago.

"Autumn" we briefly hug "Who's this?"

"This is Galen" I introduced them, looking to Galen smiling "my fiancé" showing my family the engagement ring upon my finger, after the vampires from the church were released and Sheila died Galen and I realized life is too short "Aunt Jenna? We kind of need you to sign a form allowing us to get married and"

"No" Aunt Jenna shook her head no "If you two want to have sex, then go ahead but marriage? Wait! Are you two pregnant?"

"No" we shake our heads no

"Thanks to Elena" says Galen, they look to Elena who stares at us "Autumn and I realized life is too short and why wait?"

"She's not eighteen" Aunt Jenna lists "she hasn't graduated high school"

"I took the GED" holding up the results of the GED, got all the questions right "thought it would be harder but it wasn't and"

Aunt Jenna splutters looking around "Jeremy, Elena get to school while I talk to" motioning to the two of us then the kitchen "the kitchen you both!" Galen and I go to the kitchen and sit down looking at the two of them.

"It seems" Uncle John looks from us to Aunt Jenna "I got here just in time. What's going on with Jeremy?" Vicky is dead, her body was found and it's hard on him.

"Lost a friend" placing her hands on her hips "so try to be sensitive, now how long are you going to be here?"

"Can't you" he asks "at least pretend to be happy that I'm here?" When she says nothing "Do you think I was going to sign the escrow papers and send them back? I'm not going to let you sell my brother's office"

"It's not up to you or me" she quickly went somewhere and came back with her purse "It belongs to Jeremy, Autumn and Elena"

"They're minors" he comes over to us "my niece is a minor and you don't look to be eighteen"

"We love one another" I say

"I'll be back" Aunt Jenna yells "no running off to city hall while I'm gone"

When she leaves, we are silent as Uncle John sits down "I know you know Autumn" Uncle John places his hands on the table "I know you've been in touch with Isobel"

"She gives her blessing" when I told her, she was so happy for me and Galen "I know you know about vampires"

"How did you find out?" He asks

"A vampire" Galen explains "almost killed her, I explained how your family were hunters when she told me about finding vampire hunting weapons"

"And with how thanks to Elena" shaking my head "I've nearly died many times over" even before then when I was in England "Galen and I realized our lives are too short"

Aunt Jenna comes in and hands me a box, looking at it it's a pregnancy test "Really" she orders, getting up and heading to the bathroom. It takes a few minutes before handing her to test, she places a hand on her chest relieved that the rest is negative "thank god, look I don't know what you said to John here but no one getting married"

"Then we are staying engaged" I say

"Fine" she agrees "but if this is about sex then have sex, sex at your ages are healthy. Protection!" She screams "use protection!"

"Aunt Jenna" she stares at me "I'm not Elena, I plan to wait till I'm married to have sex"

She groans banging her head on the table "Ugh! John! Back me up here! Tell these two to have sex! That you give your blessing! For sex! Not marriage! No babies!"

He holds his hands out "if these two wish to get married" Aunt Jenna screams before hitting Uncle John with a living room throw pillow, my phone goes off and it's Bonnie demanding what Elena is talking about regarding getting married.

Galen came over wrapping his arms around my waist as I smile up at him "When do you want to get married?" He asks

Thinking about it carefully "Damon owes me, I know you hate vampires but Damon could use his...ability to help us"

"Fine" he agrees

At the court house waiting for Damon, he appears and looks at the two of us "What's so important that I have to be here?"

"We need you" I ask "to compel the judge to marry us, this is me calling in the favor for me helping you find Emily's journal"

Damon looks between us both "Did you knock her up?"

"No" Galen gives him a look "after the whole tomb thing, we realized life is short. You also owe her"

He rolls his eyes "fine" looking around "is it just us or"

Jeremy appears with Bonnie, I smile "Now I'm ready"

"Come on then" Damon, Bonnie and Galen go into the judge's chambers and Jeremy smiles at me.

"Can't believe this is happening" he says

"I'm glad you're here Jeremy, know that no matter what I'll always be here for you" taking his arm as the door opens, we walk down the small aisle and I smile at Galen as the judge looks between us both.

"Take care of my sister" Jeremy warns Galen "or else"

"I will" Galen promises

"Galen Alister Vaughn" The George asks the both of us "do you take Autumn June Gilbert to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do" Galen smiles

"And do you" The judge asks "Autumn June"

"I do" cutting him off when he was about to ask the same thing.

"By the power vested in me by the great state of Virginia" he motions to us "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" Galen and I kiss one another passionately.

Hearing people clap for us, Galen holds me as I smile to my friends and Damon "Congratulations" Damon raises a glass "now you both can finally have sex"

Jeremy and Bonnie hit him, Bonnie comes over and hugs us "Congratulations, I'm so happy for you both"

"Thank you" I say "and I'm sorry about your grams..." looking over her shoulder seeing Sheila here "she's here" whispering to Bonnie "she wants me to tell you that she loves you"
