|Galen's POV|

"You need to kill Silas" Esther stares at me as I sit with her in this sitting room "but you haven't killed enough vampires, what if I told you that you could complete the mark all by killing my children?"

"What do you mean?" Looking down at my mark that hasn't gone past my wrist in years.

"There's a theory on the Other Side" she explains "something that has been seen for thousands of years, if a hunter kills a vampire who is old and has killed multiple people the larger his mark becomes. If you killed my children, you'd instantly complete the mark"

"But your children are immortal" shaking my head confused still "you need wood from the White Oak tree to even kill one of them"

"Or enough magic" she corrects me "which is why I need Autumn's help, she's a paragon. Paragon's are very powerful supernatural beings, with me channeling from her but also from the Bennett Bloodline—living and dead I can temporarily turn one of my children into mortals. They'll still have their speed and strength but will be killable"

"My children are abominations" Esther speaks to Autumn and Elena, I'm next to Autumn. After the dance, we met up with Esther who explained to us what she needs from Autumn and Elena just happened to be nearby "it was crime against nature when I created them, vampires are a mistake I must fix. Autumn, the power inside of you is immense. I'll need to harness it while Elena, I need a drop of your blood"

"My blood?" She asks warily

"My family believes I had this ball hosted for a reunion" Esther shook her head no "I wanted to bring them together to preform a binding spell, blood bound by the doppelgänger. With your blood the essence will be in the champagne, it's as you said. Klaus can't be killed, but any of my other children can. So I'll have Galen here kill them"

"Why him?" Elena asks

"I'm apart of the Brotherhood of the Five" I explain to her because I no longer care "once my mark is completed by killing an Original, I'll find the first immortal and kill him by using the cure"

"The cure?" She looks around "what's that?"

"The cure to immortality" Autumn says, Elena looks to me and Autumn shocked "and no, Galen will not give it to your boyfriends"

"There's a cure for immortality out there!" She exclaims looking around "It needs to be shared and"

"There's only one dose" she stops her ranting to look at me "You want to tell every vampire go ahead, but know it'll be a blood bath. How many innocents will die for that cure?" Esther hypothesized that once an Original dies every vampire from that line dies with them. I haven't told Autumn since it'll devastate her learning her vampire friends will die.

"Your blood" Esther asks

"For the cure" she looks at me with her head held high "I'll only do it for the cure and for you Autumn to make more of it, I know you can"

Autumn however created vines keeping Elena in place, Elena struggles and Esther went over as Autumn removed one of Elena's gloves to cut Elena's palm. The blood drips into the cup and Elena complains while Esther walked away.

Autumn and I walk away from Elena who screams, when the vines are gone Elena falls to the floor grabbing her hand. Autumn and I leave the room to run back into Demetri who looks between us both "Hello again" Demetri greets "you don't seem to be so angry given what happened"

Furrowing my brows looking between them both "What are you talking about?"

Autumn looks at me and pressed her lips together "I thought he was you, I'm so sorry" she motions to Demetri who began to walk away "we had sex"

I'm sorry? What? She what? Looking at Demetri who held his hands up "Honest mistake"

"I was talking to Elena" Autumn quickly explains as I stare at her betrayed, how could she mistake me for a vampire?! A dead creature! I never want to be a vampire, be a monster like them "then I saw him talking to a blonde, I thought he was you" Autumn cries as she motions to the vampire "I didn't know"

"You didn't know?" I demand, she stares at me "The color of our skin since he's as white as a corpse, touching us? What about when his cock was inside of you, you couldn't tell the difference between us? Don't touch me" she went to touch me and I took a step back, looking at Demetri enraged I just shake my head.

"Galen!" She calls my name but I storm away from her, feeling nothing but rage. How could she have mistook the both of us?

I yank my arm from her when she grabbed my arm, looking at her livid she is crying "Don't come near me Autumn...just don't"

|Autumn's POV|

"I expected" turning my head to Demetri when he's behind me "him to punch me" storming up at him, swinging my curled hand into his face. This sickening crack is heard as my hand connected with his face, brief cracks are in his face where I punched him while my hand is most likely broken or my wrist.

"Do you need a ride home or to the hospital? I wouldn't be surprised if he left you here" he says

Pressing my lips together as I nod my head "Not...yeah, I need a ride home" to Bonnie's, I'll ask her and talk to her about it. We're staying at my childhood home so... "I have vampire blood at home" I'm pretty sure the blood Katherine gave me is still at home, so I'll have to drink it for it to heal my wrist or hand or whatever.

"Come on" Demetri motions, we walk side by side after I've wiped away my tears.

"Oh my god!" Caroline is next to me and takes my hand "what happened? Galen?" she looks at Galen and they stare at one another, she giggles as Demetri smirked at her.

"This is Galen's doppelgänger" Caroline looks to me as I motion to Galen who looks at us enraged before storming off "that's—I did something bad Caroline and I don't know how to fix it"

"Maybe you should have kept your mouth shut?" Demetri suggests, I give him a lethal glare "I'm just saying, you would have been happily married if you kept your mouth shut"

"I'm not going to lie to him" covering my face with my free good hand "the only good thing is that you can't impregnate me"

"What?" Caroline looks to me demanding "you and him had sex? You cheated on"

"Caroline, is it?" Demetri stops Caroline who came at me enraged, her vampire side coming out "She didn't know, honest mistake"

We hear a commotion and I run outside seeing Damon on top of Kol, snapped his head. The Mikaelsons are out here with Stefan and Elena "Far from me to cause a problem" he walks away and I head towards him "leave Autumn"

"Can I get a ride home with you?" I ask

He looks my way "What about your hubby?"

"He currently hates me right now" I said "we don't have to talk...I just" we are far away from anyone "I cheated on Galen tonight with his vampire doppelgänger Demetri, I thought it was Galen and now" shaking my head as tears run down my face "can you please give me a ride to Bonnie's house?"

He stares at me before sighing "You can stay however long at my place, I've got the room"

"Really?" I ask

"Yeah" he nods his head "cheating on someone you care about? I've done that, come on" he offers me his jacket which I take "what happened to your hand?"

"Punched a cold one vampire in the face" I say

Once we get to his house, he gives me a glass filled with his blood "Here, pick a room. I'll be back" after drinking the blood, I find a room and in here I fall to my knees crying. Oh god, what have I done?

"He told you that he loves you Elena" sitting on a chair as Bonnie tries the privacy spell Esther used last night "and you told him that it was a problem, you never said you loved him back"

"And you fucked another man" Elena scoffs "I can see why you and your husband are together"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I demand

"Last night" we stare at Elena as she shrugs her shoulders "Galen and I...we"

"You had sex with my husband?!" Screaming at her, tackling her to the floor as I started to punch her. She screams, especially when I burn her face with the fire that was conjured on my hands.

I'm pulled off of Elena by Caroline and the girls look at Elena who is crying, yanking myself away from Caroline and leaving the house. I just get into my old car and drive, I drive someplace else. Anywhere else.

I head to Tree Hill and once here, go up to the apartment Haley owns. She opens the door shocked to see me "Can I stay with you for a while?"

"What happened?" She asks letting me inside.

"I accidentally cheated on my husband with his twin and Galen cheated on me with my twin" shaking my head crying, my chest is tight and I only feel pain "I just need a place to stay until...I just need a place to stay, can I stay here?"

"Of course" she nods her head, she holds me as I cry.
