⚠️Warning: Episode of Tree Hill where there's a shooter⚠️

"Demetri" looking over shocked seeing Demetri here at my school, I know it's Demetri and not Galen because now looking close enough Galen doesn't need a daylight ring. Not like Demetri "What are you doing here? In the girl's bathroom?"

His eyes trail down to my swollen belly that is being hidden by one of Galen's shirts, people think I'm just fat when I wear Galen's shirts. Moving my hands to my belly trying to cover the bump but it's hard when you've got a vampire staring at it. Demetri gulps looking back up to my face "I was visiting Caroline" Caroline decided to stay in Mystic Falls to help our friends and my sister with whatever mess Elena brought them into "and she told me, she thought you told me since we both were apparently in Charlotte a few weeks ago"

Pressing my lips together "Before the cheer competition a few weeks back, my friends convinced me to call you and I didn't say anything—I was the number you blocked"

"I was wondering" listening closely enough, Demetri and Galen have different accents. Galen has a Scottish accent while Demetri has a Greek one "who kept calling...how are you feeling? Nauseous? Hungry?"

"As long as I have two pints of blood a day" I say to him "I'm fine, I can eat whatever food I want to...Do you know where Galen is?"

"Colorado" He's in Colorado, wow... "Does he know?"

Shaking my head no feeling tears water in my eyes, pressing my lips together looking away as I wiped away the tears that fell "He thinks distance is a good idea right now and people know he's a member of the Brotherhood of the Five, so he's been on the down low and...it's just me"

"I'm sorry" he apologizes to me "I should have corrected you"

"Why didn't you?" I ask

"Aro" he says "he wanted to know more about you and what you were talking about...I found you very hot and" he lets out a laugh "I'm known as the Casanova of Vampires for a reason"

"It's not completely your fault" leaning against the sink crossing my arms under my breasts "I was pregnant that night apparently"

"You were" he confirms

Nodding my head "I should have realized you weren't him since Galen is circumcised and you aren't, he also has a Prince Albert piercing"

Demetri lets out a surprised laugh "But other than that we're basically the same size?" Nodding my head, they are both long and thick.

"Can we leave the bathroom?" I ask "it's weird and I gotta get to the tutor center since I promised my friend that I'd help her today"

"Of course" as we leave, people look our way and I ignore them since they don't realize Demetri and Galen are doppelgängers.

Haley looks our way and smiles "Hey Galen, when did you get here?"

"Just now" he say, pretending to have a Scottish accent "I wanted to talk to Autumn" snapping our heads to the door when we hear a gun go off, people are screaming and Demetri puts me behind him.

"Code Red" we hear the principal speak over the coms "Code Red, this is not a drill. All students to a designated lockdown area. This is a Code Red"

"By the wall" Haley orders the five other people that come in here to sit down by the wall and be quiet, she turns off the lights to sit down terrified herself. We all are, but not Demetri. He's more like in protective mode.

Demetri brings me over to the wall and holds me close, he looks from the others then to Jimmy. This one kid who in the school time capsule trashed basically everyone including himself. Demetri's grip on me tightened and he looks over to me moving his hand to my belly putting his head in my head to whisper "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you or the twins"

Holding onto Demetri scared since why would someone bring a gun to school? It doesn't make any sense. Actually...is someone trying to get back at Dan Scott? Dan does have a lot of enemies and killing his sons would prove a point.

After some time Marcus says "We need to get out of here"

"No" Haley shook her head "we need to stay put, it's lockdown procedure. We have to wait till it's safe"

"And I'm saying" Marcus complains "lockdown is crap, whoever is out there is a student and they know where we're at"

"How do you know" I ask "it's a student? Could be someone with a grudge against Dan Scott, if you've met the man you can understand the want to end his life or make his life hell by hurting those close to him"

"What about the windows?" Rachel look to the windows that leads to the courtyard "we could break the windows and get out"

"The windows" Haley shook her head "lead to a courtyard, its enclosed. It's just for light" I could manipulate the earth and create some steps so we can go over the enclosure.

"And besides" Skills adds "we get to breaking all the windows all we do is draw attention to ourselves"

"And you don't think" Marcus demands "a locked door is gonna tell whatever psycho is out there that we're in here?"

"Why would you call him psycho?" We look over to Jimmy who looks at Marcus confused, he's been eerily calm.

"Something" Marcus remarks "to do with them trying to kill us all fat ass"

Jimmy clenches his jaw looking away while Demetri says "We wouldn't be drawing attention to ourselves if we all would stop talking, I'm pretty sure lockdown procedure includes staying silent" he then whispers in my ear "Caroline mentioned you having powers"

"Nature" turning my head to put my face in his chest to whisper only for him "and having a mental shield, I can't risk exposing myself since Caroline isn't here to compel anyone and the water has vervain"

Demetri rubs my back "I'll figure something out"

Closing my eyes trying to remain calm, I need to be calm for the babies sake "No signal" looking over to Skills who looks at his phone "All circuits busy"

There's a knock on the door, we all look over as the door jiggles.  We then see an ID be slid underneath the door, Haley grabs it and smiles "It's Nathan!"

"No way" Marcus stops her when she went to open the door "we don't know it's him"

"No" she shows us "it's his driver's license"

"So?" Shaking his head "How do you know someone didn't just kill him and take his ID? Okay? You're the one that said this is a lockdown, every man for himself"

"She can't leave him out there" Rachel says

"But do we even know it's him?" I ask "Marcus is right, what if someone is pretending to be him. What if it's the shooter and he or she needs hostages?"

Demetri whispers in my ear "It's Nathan, he with some guy named Marvin" Mouth...oh god. Now I feel bad.

"Don't open it" Abby pleads

"Do not open that door" Marcus orders

"Shut up" Haley waves her hand "Shut up" she goes to the door and puts her ear to the crack saying "Always" she sighs relieved unlocking the door "it's him"

"No way" Marcus stops her "Get away from the door"

Demetri moves me closer to the door as Skills shoves Marcus aside "Look if she say it's him, it's him" looking towards Haley "open the door"

She opens the door and Nathan comes in holding a bat, Mouth closes the door immediately after they get inside "Are you okay?" Nathan holds Haley close.

"Yeah" she asks "what's going on out there?"

"I don't know" Nathan says "but we're getting out of here, all of us. Let's go"

"No" we look over to Jimmy who is holding a gun up at us "nobody's going anywhere, get away from the door"

"Jimmy?" Mouth asks

"Do it Mouth!" Jimmy screams

We walk away from the door, tears run down my face as Demetri keeps me covered. He whispers in my ear "Bullet proof remember"

"But not my friends" I remind him

"Everyone get away from the door" Jimmy orders going towards the door as we stay by the wall.

"Oh Jimmy" Mouth asks "what'd you do?"

"Move back Skills" Jimmy orders

"Or what?" Jimmy demands moving away "you gonna shoot me? We use to be friends, dog"

"Yeah" Jimmy agrees "use to be"

"So it's like that?" Skills asks "okay, alright"

"Jim" Mouth begs "you can't do this"

"It's a little late for that Mouth" Why did he even bring a gun to school? Is it because of the time capsule?

"Why?" He looks my way and Demetri tries to shield me "Why do this? Is this because of the time capsule? What you said? Did you bring the gun to kill whoever released the video?"

"I can't be here" Abby cries

"Look man" Marcus begs "just let us go, I'm sorry I called you fat ass"

"It's a little late for that too" I feel bile in the back of my throat as he points the gun at us "How about you, hero? You scared?"

"Yeah" Nathan nods his head "I'm scared"

"Good" he sneers "welcome to my world!" He walks towards the teachers desk "alright" he grabs something before coming towards us "this is what we're gonna do, you're gonna rape a line down the center of the room" he tosses the tape to Nathan "go on!"

Haley holds Nathan close crying "Why are you doing this?" Abby asks

"You're Abby Brown, right?" Jimmy asks "What's my name?"

"Jim?" She asks

"My full name" he demands "Come on! Who am I?"

I and up throwing up and Demetri has to hold me close "Jimmy Edwards" Haley says

"Listen kid" Demetri says to him "let us or the very least let Autumn go, she's pregnant with twins and do you really want to be responsible if something happens to her or the babies?"

He has to think about it "Jimmy" Haley begs "you're a good guy and you are better than this, please"

"Just shut up all of you!" Jimmy yells "I don't think she is even pregnant!"

"She is" Haley confirms "I was there when she took the test, Jimmy she's really pregnant"

"Shut up!" He orders "All of you! Just shut up and sit down!"

"Jimmy" Haley pleads "eight hostages in the tutor center? That's not you"

"What are you doing?" He demands "what's in your pocket?"

"Nothing" she says

"Stop pointing the gun at her!" Nathan orders

"It's my phone" she whispers

"Give it to me!" He orders "throw it here!" She does and he looks at her "Oh, Haley. I use to like you" he puts the phone up "yeah, nine one one. If anyone comes remotely close to this school we start shooting students. You hear me? You come in here and your kids die" he throws the phone against the wall "alright, I want everyone's cellphones! Let's go!"

|Demetri's POV|

I hold Autumn close as she's pale, she needs blood. She's thrown up four times already "Jimmy" Haley pleads as she and that Rachel are kneeling before her "Autumn needs to see a doctor"

"I swear to god" warning this human as I hold Autumn close "if I close one of these babies, I'm ending you myself"

"Jimmy let her go" Mouth asks

Autumn ends up throwing up again in the trash "Unbelievable!" Jimmy exclaims in anger "Alright! Just her! Come on!" We help Autumn up but she faints and I catch her.

"Autumn!" We go to her side and sheets in my arms unconscious, I haven't felt fear in my life in a very long time but right now. Autumn and the babies, one of them being mine? I'm scared. 

"Jimmy" Haley pleads "she needs help!"

"We need to call someone now" I say

"Fine" he orders "fine, take her out of here"

While he is pacing and doesn't notice, I manage to come up and grab the gun. He shoots it and I pretend to be human, people scream as we fight. I aim the gun at Jimmy and his eyes widen when I shoot him in the chest.

He backs away and I unload the gun pulling out my phone to call for help. When paramedics come in they take Autumn straight to the hospital, I ride with her and pray the babies especially my baby is alright.

"Stress" the doctor tells me "we'll keep her overnight for observation but other than that, she and the babies are fine and healthy"

"Thank god" sitting back down, looking to Autumn as she is being given a blood transfusion. My phone goes off and it's Caroline "Hey Caroline"

"How are you?" She demands worried "Autumn? I'm on my way to Tree Hill right now"

"Autumn's unconscious and in the hospital" I tell her "we were held hostage with six other humans so I couldn't kill the human with the gun ahead of time"

"The babies?" She asks

"Healthy and fine" I say

When I find Galen, he's just finished hunting a vampire. "Galen" he looks over at me when I appear with my arms crossed "we need to talk"

"Oh we do?" He demands

"I'm here to talk to you about Autumn" I say

His face darkens "You want to talk to me about my wife? What? Is she still fucking you?"

"She's in the hospital" he is taken aback by that, any anger he holds leaves "there was a shooter at her school a few days ago, she was held hostage. She's in the hospital because she and the babies needed to be monitored. Caroline had to compel one of the doctors since one of the babies is mine"

Galen is silent as he processes the words I told him "You got my wife pregnant?!" He attacks me then, we fight for a bit but I get him in the choke hold police men sometimes put people in to calm them down "Autumn needs you right now, put aside your  anger towards me and be there for you and your baby that is growing inside of her"

Letting go of shaken who pulled away, he lets out a harsh sigh "I can't...I want to but people know I'm a hunter. They want me to lead them to the cure and I can't put Autumn in danger"

"Then I'll be there too" I say "I'm already here because the one baby is mine and I'm not giving anything up" he is silent as he stares at me "Galen? Do you know any some pregnant women experience when they're pregnant? A rise in libido. I knew Autumn was pregnant with your baby and I fucked her, you want to blame someone then blame the pregnancy hormones. Not Autumn"

"Why did you fuck my wife?" He demands

"Because she's hot" This was before I met Caroline "Galen this is me, I'm known for sleeping with women of all sorts that are old enough to understand and consent to sex. I've slept with mothers, daughters—daughters who are fifteen and older—aunts, best friends, elderly human women. It's just me. Don't continue to punish Autumn for a mistake she made when she was really horny and wanted you but you weren't around"
