Y/n's Pov

When you wake up you are in an unfamiliar room. You notice that you are wearing: (outfit 1)

Suddenly, a female walks in. You see that she has hazel eyes, black hair, is wearing a tank top, short shorts, and lace up black knee-high shoes. (very observant, are we?) She tells you, "Hi! I'm Aphmau, or Jess, whichever you prefer. Anyways, I am the Lord of this village, Pheonix Drop, and you are?" "Uhm, Lord Aphmau I am Y/n. May I stay in your village for a while?" You ask politely. "Of course you can Y/n, but there is no need to address me as a Lord- even if I am one- would you like to stay in one of our empty houses whilst you stay?" She replies. You agree and she leads you to a house near the guard tower. She leaves you there to look around the house a bit, and returns soon after with your stuff from earlier. You thank her and she leaves, you setting up the house a bit.

~Small Time Skip~

After about 3 hours, you end up with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a office, a secret room (to train your fighting skills and to hide), a room designated to video games, and an indoor pool (its not huge tho.). There is a suddenly knock at the door. When you answer, you see that it is the man from the woods earlier. "Oh, uh, hey. I didn't get your name earlier...." You say. They reply with "Oh! Sorry, Y/n, was it? I am Garroth, the head guard of Pheonix Drop." You silently wonder what he looks like underneath the armor. He sees you in thought and decides to ask about yourself. "So, Y/n, what was your life like before Pheonix Drop?" "Erm... I'd rather not say...." you reply. You move aside to let him in, and he compliments you on your work. A wave of dizziness washes over you, as you fall to the floor.

Garroth's Pov.

 I catch Y/n as she falls to the ground, unconscious. There was a Y/n, I think, that I knew a long time ago.... She was a princess, the princess of (village name). That Y/n was going to end up marrying a person from.... I forgot.... She had (h/c hair color ) hair (e/c eye color ) eyes. I remember when I was 7, she was 6 and didn't understand why I had to leave for O'khasis. *A tear slides down his cheek*

~Flashback~

She was sitting by the river, crying. He hugged her as she cried onto his chest. Shadow Knights killed half the townspeople. She didn't know why, but they did. "Just close your eyes, the sun is going down. You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now..." She was soon asleep on his chest. They stayed like that until the morning light woke them up.

~Flashback End~ 

The Y/n that was in front of him now was crying in her sleeping state. He lightly shook her to wake her up. "Hey Y/n... Y/n... Y/n" he said softly. As she awoke, he set her down. (he caught her, and held her as he had a flashback.)

Y/n's Pov

~Dream~

She sat there, by the river, crying. The little 4-5 year old girl had no idea why Shadow Knights attacked her village, but they did. She was almost hit, if it were not for a guard that protected her. There were soft footsteps behind her, Garroth, her best friend, hugged her. She cried into his chest as he sung to her. The little girl soon fell asleep, and they stayed like that, until morning when the little girl's dad found them. He took them back to the Lords' home, and told them that no matter what, they needed to stay there.

As that dream faded, another came. She was around nine then (I am sorry, the age needed to be changed to a bit older so I can successfully form parts of the plot.). Garroth's dad took him onto a ship, tears were streaming down her face. The last thing he told her was-

~Dream End~

You were shaken awake. You looked at Garroth, when you realized that this Garroth was your best friend. You, however, resisted the urge to hug him as you saw a glimpse of his crystal blue eyes, they held a look of realization, and hid a look of disappointment. Well, who cares about resisting anymore, you hugged him, not because he was your old friend, but because you needed a hug.

3rd Person Pov

He slowly wrapped his arms around her, concerned. She made sniffling noises, and as she fell into a peaceful sleep, he whispered "I'll never let you go". And with that, you fall into slumber as he sits there, cradling her body in his arms.

~Time Skip Until You Awaken~

Y/n wakes to Garroth's head on her shoulder, he was asleep. The two held that position until he woke up. Y/n got up and discovered that it was 8pm. She tells Garroth this, and he had a meeting with Aphmau to attend to, so he left her there, alone. She decides to make herself dinner, when there is another knock on the door. She answers the door, and there is a girl there. She is wearing a green dress, has emerald green eyes, and fiery red hair. She introduces herself as Cadenza and gives Y/n some clothing, Y/n lets her in, and the two talk for a while. As Y/n cooks steak for the two girls, Cadenza decides to stay after to see how the clothes fit Y/n.

Your Pov.

You decide to take a walk around the village, and you meet more people. Then the day is over, night has risen, and you sit down at a clearing near a river in the woods. You remember the dream you had, and you cry.

Garroth's Pov

I hear crying.... I think. I was patrolling the Village, but Laurence has tonight's night patrolling. So I decide to take a walk in the woods. As I reach a clearing, I see Y/n. She is watching the water with tears in her eyes, I can't just watch this. I softly walk up to her and hug her. She cries into my chest as I look at our surroundings. When I look around, I feel a wave of Déjà Vu crash against me.

CLIFF HANGER!!! okay, I need to know, is my writing bad? I reaaaaallllllllllllllllyyyyyy think it is, and I had a few problems so, I'm sorry for the lateness of this chapter. byeeeeee!!!!
