Normal POV

"I-it's not what you think!" Mitsuki tried to explain but he didn't get a chance since the police arrived.

You were just standing there, not believing what you just saw along with Inojin and Shikadai. You knew for sure that your father was the Killer but now that you witness it with your own eyes that Mitsuki was the Killer, you wanted everything to be a nightmare and wish that everything will go back to normal.

But it never did...

The police barge inside the room and captured Mitsuki, putting his hands in a chain. Mitsuki tried to escape but two police were holding him down.

"Y/n! I did not kill her! Please believe me!" Mitsuki yelled while getting pulled by force.

"You have the right to remain silence, Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." The police said while pulling Mitsuki at the exit.

When he was about to past you, he yank his hand away from the police while running towards you and holding your shoulder. Inojin and Shikadai immediately pulled him away from you but Mitsuki was still fighting.

"Wait, let him talk." You instructed and the police remained still but Inojin and Shikadai kept his distant away from you for your safety.

"Look into my eyes Y/n, do you think that I'm the Killer? I did not kill Chou-Chou, it was a set up!" Mitsuki beg for you to believe him.

You wanted to believe him, you really do but everything was clear to you now. It was the reason why Mitsuki was always there when someone dies. He was the Killer. You didn't want to believe it but that was the proof that he was the Killer.

Your two friends couldn't also believe it but they did since their first suspect was Mitsuki since the very beginning.

"Trust me Y/n, I did not kill anyone. I tried protecting her but... I got set up." Mitsuki look deeply in your eyes and you recognize that look anywhere.

You remember it when you were a child, when he use to make promises to you and you didn't believe him. He would always look in your eyes with the look that he was giving you now. Every time he looks at you like that, he was telling the truth.

He never lied to you, never has and he wasn't even planning to lie to you. But it has come clear to your mind that this time, at this very moment, was the first time that he have ever lied to you.

"Take him away." You demanded, hatred and confusion was clearly heard on your voice.

Mitsuki widen his eyes and hurt was replace by it. Not because he was getting to put into jail for the rest of his life, but because you didn't believe him. You lost your trust in him and worst of all, he had lost the friendship you both had.

He didn't try to fight anymore after you made your decision. He knew to himself that you were his only hope but you turned him in. You didn't care about him anymore. You didn't know but you've just broken his heart.

"Promise me to protect her with all you can." That was the last sentence that Mitsuki said as he directed it to Inojin and Shikadai.

"Don't worry, as long as you're not around anymore, she'll be safer." Inojin said.

Sadness was shown on Mitsuki's eyes and you couldn't help but feels sad as well. You stared at Mitsuki this whole time but after you didn't even gave him a chance on explaining everything, he avoided having an eye contact with you. You watch as they lead him outside and into the car.

You hated to admit it but deep down inside you, you didn't want Mitsuki to go to jail. You still have a feeling that he wasn't the killer. It wasn't right for you but you have to let him go. You had no choice. He have to pay for everything that he have done. He have to pay for all the life that he had taken away. What he have done was unforgivable.

You heard the engine starting and you watch as Mitsuki had his head bowed down inside the car, never making an eye contact with you until the car started moving. You widen your eyes as he made eye contact with you while giving you the most adorable smile he have ever given to anyone.

He then mouthed 'I'll always love you' before disappearing from your sight forever.

"I guess the case is now close." Inojin was the first one who broke the silence and you just sigh.

You were sad but you didn't show it. You wanted to cry but held it back. You thought to yourself that it's not worth to cry to see the only guy you have love, disappeared in your life forever.

'He deserved it.' You thought as you tried not to be guilty. 'For all of my friend's death, he totally deserves it.'

Reader's POV (One Month later)

It's been a week since Mitsuki was sent to jail and ever since he was caught, there wasn't any death that followed after Chou-Chou. It's been a month since I haven't seen Mitsuki and I have really miss him.

The case on searching for the Killer had been close since it was proven that Mitsuki was the Killer. His fingerprint match the one on the wall where Lee died and it also match the one that was found on the knife that was used for the Principal.

A witness also said that he saw a blue haired and golden eyes twisting the neck of Inuzuka Kiba in front of the Ramen shop for no apparent reason. Another one said that a person with the same blue haired and golden eyes saw somehow exiting the house of Sumire. It is when I decided to accept the fact that Mitsuki is the killer.

But why? Why would he do such a thing?
