The dinner was finally done and they were sitting. First time Dev has seen Sonakshi so happy and he himself don't knw that why was he happy to see her happy. But he brushed off his thoughts and didn't left a chance to admire Sona secretly.

"So the dinner is over and I have a gift for u both." Arnav said and Khushi removed a box from her purse and forwarded it to Sona. She looked at Dev and he was also surprised about the gift but he knew if he will refuse they will feel bad so he gesture Sonakshi to take it and she took the box as she herself was confused. When she opened the box it had two beautiful couple bracelets.

"Um I can't take it." She said

"I knew it, that's why we want Dev to put this bracelet so u will never deny." He said, making her mentally face palm herself.

"Excuse me? Come on u both gifted us the bracelet it's fine but that doesn't mean I'll make her wear that." He said, sternly.

"Come on guys this will take ur relationship to a next level and it's just a bracelet it but in relation with her so u have the rights." Khushi said, frankly.

"Yeah khushi is right. Now u both stop fighting like school children and Dev u make her wear that." Arnav said, in a stubborn way.

"Arnav I really appreciate ur gift but no need to force Dev I'll wear it by myself." She said, and picked up the bracelet and quickly wear it and shows them. "Happy now?" She asked, them both and Khushi smiled but Arnav smirked he knew that something was wrong but he wasn't able to understand what.

The bracelet was shining and was looking damn delicate on her tender hand. Dev was again lost in her and come back in his senses when Arnav shake him up.

"Come on Dev, I'm talking with u since last 5 minutes. Did u even hear??" He asked, frustratedly

"Yeah I heard." He lied

"Come on look at u man, I can't believe that u r admiring ur lady love so much she is just sitting right beside u and u r still so attracted to her. My gosh!" Arnav teased.

"Enough now, I guess we should leave." He said and got up from his seat.

Dev and Arnav were walking ahead and the girls were behind her. Sonakshi was damn comfortable with Khushi and khushi too loved her nature.

"Whose idea was it to gift the bracelet?" He inquired.

"Mine." He said, proudly.

"Never do that again only I have the right to give her such gifts." He said, in a stern voice.

"I sometimes doubt ur possessives." He said, shooking his head.

"Whatever u think idc , just dun repeat ur act. Clear?" He asked

"Yes." He replied.

"So u and Arnav aren't planning to get married?" Sonakshi asked.

"Um not now, he needs time." She said,sadly.

"Idk why guys are like that.." She said, disheartened(ly)

"Maybe because this make them different from girls." She said, laughing and she laughed too.

"Um but I knw Dev will marry u first before Arnav marrying me. I mean Dev wasn't like this before every single moment his eyes were on u, if I'm noticing this just to sit with u 2 hours then his entire family will be noticing this." She said, with a spark in her eyes.

"Um u knw na Dev don't believe in marriages." She said.

"I knw but u can make him believe." She said, smiling and they reached the parking lot , Khushi hugged her and they both exchanged there numbers too. They both were in the middle of there route.

"Take it off." He said.

"Take it off what?" She asked.

"The bracelet." He said, calmly.

"But why? They had given this with so much of love and affection." She said, smiling.

"Is this so important that u r asking me why?? It was Arnav's idea not Khushi's." He asked, angrily.

"I won't, n I dun care let it be on my hand for at least a day." She said, in a pleading way.

"Yeah right, a middle class girl like u haven't seen such an expensive bracelet like this even before in her life. I can understand." He said, taunting.

She got hurt by his words. He is again reminding her of her class and standards. She just removed the bracelet from her hand.

"Yeah right thank u for telling me that." She said, with tears and kept the bracelet inside her purse and start looking out of the window.

'His heart ache seeing her like this but he don't have any other option.'
He thought.
They reached the house and everyone was asleep. Sonakshi straight went to her room followed by Dev. She was just removing her earrings when she saw Dev entering her room.

"Just close the door I dun want ur family to see us together at this moment." She said, coldly.

Dev's POV
She is saying that so casually that she doesn't care about me. She is more worried about other seeing me and her together than knowing the fact that I am present in her room. Wait, isn't she afraid of me anymore?

"You okay with my staying here tonight??" He asked, confused(ly)

"It doesn't matter Dev, it's always ur wish and my command." She said, tauntingly.  

He just remove his tie and throw it on the bed, closes the door and move towards her. She didn't move back this time but she went towards the closet. He was merely few inches apart from her.

"Changing?" He asked, smirking.

"Haan, I can't sleep in this dress." She said, randomly.

"Yeah, so skin fitting right? We'll change." He said, taking a step towards her.

"Then move aside." She said, rolling her eyes.

"I said change, not in the washroom but in front of me." He said, while her eyes pop out.
