Gus's Pov:

I was sitting in class for the past 30 minutes, because Willow was busy doing some plant assignment, I was alone due to the fact I was pretty early. There aren't many witches who do illusion magic. I had to be there because the stunt I pulled with having illusions take my notes, I rolled my eyes thinking about it. "Ugh. I'm so stupid!" I say in a clearly annoyed. How did I even get caught for that?

"Well, you are stupid. But not that stupid... what's wrong dork?" Matty said sounding kind of concerned. He was standing in the doorway looking out of breath.

"WOW, you really know how to comfort people, jerk." I say in a joking voice. Looking at him up and down, carefully.

"Oh, come on if you lived with my family, you would know emotions aren't really a thing there." he says with a shrug, then smiling at me warmly.

"Eh, it's nothing." He just smiles at me giving me that look that says, 'I know you're lying'.

I shrug with a smile. We have been close since the looking glass graveyard incident, with Bria. I tapped the seat next to me, inviting him to sit with me. He shrugged and walked over sitting next to me. We sat in a comfortable silence for a good 2 minutes until some of the kids in illusion came into the classroom after the bell screamed some were on their scrolls a lot were talking about random stuff, and the next flyer derby match.

The teacher comes in and quickly gets the class to calm down. There are about 13 kids in the class so it's not too bad to get them to calm down. I know almost everything they are going over, so I sit back and take notes here and there. I looked at Matty a few times; he looks cute today. His hair was pulled up in a bun. (He always complains he needs a haircut.) and his face was scruffy and honestly if I'm being real.... kinda handsome.

I sat there for the rest of class questioning my sexuality, and whether I should ask Matt to be my valentine. (human thing😎)
