Gxxod's POV
After I got off the plane I used my phone app to hire a taxi to bring me straight to Bas' house. As soon as I got there I buzzed at the gate and one of the housemaids let me in. Bas' mom met me at the door.
"Hello, Gxxod! What brings you here? I thought you were in China," she said in rapid succession.
"I was given a day off," I replied. "Can I see Bas please?"
"He's not here," his mom said, "he's already at the promotional shoot with the other guys."
She gave me the address where it was taking place. I asked her if I could leave my carry on bag with her in the meantime.
"Sure," she said, taking it from me. I thanked her quickly and used my phone app again to hire a taxi to bring me to the place where the promo shoot was taking place. After a few minutes wait, the taxi arrived. I quickly got inside and gave the elderly driver the address. I wished that he would drive faster but I knew that there were traffic violation officers ready to flag down any vehicle that went past the speed limit.
After what seemed an eternity we arrived at the place. I quickly paid the taxi driver and entered the building as fast as I could. The event was already about to start. I looked around for Bas. There he was with his back towards me but I could recognize his back anywhere. Wait, that is Josh standing closely in front of him and he seems to be adjusting Bas' tie.
I sprinted towards him and before I could stop myself my fist landed on his jaw. He staggered backward but did not fall. The son of a bitch is a strong sturdy muscled fellow who will not easily fall with just one blow.
"P'Gxxod!!! Gxxod! P'Gxxod! Gxxod! P'Gxxod! P'Gxxod!" everyone exclaimed in unison.
Josh wiped his mouth and was getting ready to lunge at me but several of the staff held him back and the manager approached me. "Leave this building immediately or I will call the cops on you," he threatened me.
I walked up to Bas who was looking at me with a shocked expression on his face. "I will wait for you at your mom;s house," I said, "we are going to have a long talk."
Bas' POV
I woke up to the delicious smell of bacon and pancakes. Trust mom to make the most delicious breakfast ever.
I quickly showered and dried and put on casual clothes. The management was going to provide us with formal suits when we got to the building where the promo shoot was going to take place. I gave my mom a good morning kiss and thanked her for breakfast.
I took a quick sip from my glass of orange juice and started to wolf down the pancakes and bacon. I was about to take my sixth pancake when my mom stopped me.
"Son," she said, "remember how you worked so hard to shed off your excess weight? Do you want to have to go through those painful rigorous exercises again?"
"Fine," I said in defeat and put down my fork. I quickly finished my glass of orange juice and ran back to the bathroom to do my morning ritual and to brush my teeth.
When I went to the living room, my mom was already on her way out the door holding her car keys. "I'll wait for you in the car, okay?" she said..
I quickly joined her because I know that she doesn't want to be kept waiting for too long. She played her favorite Kpop songs along the way. I wished that I could play mine but she's the one driving so she has the right to play her songs as she wishes.
When we reached the place I thanked her and kissed her good bye. "Call me when you're ready to be picked up," she said as she drove away. "I will" I called out after her.
I quickly stepped into the building and headed for the room where I was going to change into a formal suit. The others were already there. "Hi, Bas!" Josh called out to me. The staff was walking towards me with the suit in his hand. Josh took it from him and approached me.
"Let me help you to change into this," he said as he handed me the suit.
"No!" I exclaimed, "no, thank you," I repeated in a calmer tone of voice.
Thankfully he respected my wishes and left me alone. When I stepped out of the cubicle, he was waiting for me. "Your tie is a little crooked," he said, "here let me adjust it for you."
He had barely straightened my tie when a fist landed on his jaw.
