Bas' POV

"Bye, P'Josh," I called out to him as he walked away.  He waved at me without a word.  I knew he was disappointed that I turned down his invitation to hang out with him after the photo shoot.  I would have gone out with him but I was expecting either a call or a video call from P'Gxxod. 

Sure enough in less than a minute my phone started to ring and I saw that the call was indeed from P'Gxxod.  "Hi, P'Josh,"  I said brightly.

"What did you just say?  What did you just call me?" HIs voice on the phone was so loud that I had to put it away from my ear.

Before I could say a word, the call got cut.  Did he just hang up on me?  I tried to call his number but he was on the phone again.  I swiped my phone.  "P'Gxxod, did you hang up on me?"

He did not answer my question.  Instead he asked in a deadly serious tone of voice,  "Have you been cheating on me with Josh?  Tell me the truth, Bas."

I was so shocked by the question that I could not answer right away.  I finally found my voice,  "Why would you even think that?"  I asked in indignation.

"Because you just fucking called me by his name!" he was yelling again.

Did I really call him by P'Josh' name?  If I had done so maybe it's because I had just finished saying good bye to P'Josh just before P'Gxxod's call came in.  But that was really offensive of him to accuse me of cheating on him.

"P'Gxxod," I finally spoke up because I knew he was waiting for me to say something.  "I'm really offended that you would accuse of cheating on you."

"Then why did you call me by Josh' name?" he demanded to know.

"Maybe because I had just finished saying good bye to him,"  I said.  "Was that such a big offense?" 

"No," he said.  He sounded a little calmer.  "I'm sorry if I had thought that you were cheating on me.  It's just because I feel so insecure about you working in close contact with Josh.  I'm so afraid that he will take you away from you.  I know that he can be very persuasive.  He's such a smooth talker.  I don't want to go back to Bangkok to be faced with an announcement from you that you and Josh are already a couple."

"That would never happen," I said with conviction.  "P'Josh is nothing more than a co-worker to me, how many tines do I have to remind you?"

"Please don't hang out with him at all," he begged.  "You can always ask Copter or Tee to hang out with you if you ever get bored.  And don't forget you can always video call me whenever you feel lonely."

"I promise, P'Gxxod,"  I said.  "I miss you so much.  Please come back soon."

I could not tell him that I already had been hanging out with P'Josh because he would only get upset.  But as P'Josh had kept reminding me, P'Gxxod and I were not in a committed relationship so where was the harm in spending a bit of a fun time with P'Josh.  To be honest P'Josh' statements did make sense to me.  After all, P'Gxxod had never said that he loved me.  He would either say "I miss you" or "take care, Bas" to end our calls.
