Chapter 6- I'm Just Seeing If it Can Fit This Whole Chapter Name

^Who's cat is that though. Cuties.

I had to erase most of the name bc apparently it can only fit 80 characters and mine was about 200 ish.

Hi humans! I began this the day after the last update, and I'm not really sure when I'll finish it, but I'm trying to move on faster, bc I'm bored of slow buildup to action.

I started this while listening to The World Is Ugly, and I still can't get over how beautiful Gee's voice is.

And this book has over 100 reads, woah.

The moment you've all been waiting for....

Gerard was considerably more quiet for the following days, mostly just trailing after Frank and reading his comics.

Frank kept finding himself worrying over Gerard when he really should be worrying about the blond guy tailing them. He had spotted him twice more, once in a coffee shop across from one of their hotels, and once across the forum in the lobby of a train station.

Each time, he wasn't looking suspicious or at anything near them, but he also made no effort to hide the fact that he was trailing them in every city they went to.

They were on the train, one they had switched to after a transfer from where they had seen the blond guy.

The seats were located by the window, two benches facing each other with a small table in between.

Frank knew Gerard had woken up several times in the night, because he had kicked him while startling awake at least twice, and the dark circles under his hazel eyes attested to that. Normally he would have complained, but he figured that would be kind of rude, so he pretended to be asleep each time.

And if he had happened to put his arm over his bedmate and play with his hair to calm him down, well, he was just looking out for his legs' well being.

Seriously though, that guy kicked hard, his shins were fucking bruised.

The red haired man yawned, laying his head down on the table, over top of the latest comic he had spread before him. Frank watched in quiet interest as his eyelids slipped lower and lower, his head relaxing into a suitable sleeping position. His eyes closed all the way then flickered open slightly.

He shot up from the table instantly, sitting straight in his seat.

"So, Frank..." he started, surprising him even more than his sudden movement. "You know how we keep switching trains, and stuff?"

Frank nodded.

"Well I think we should maybe do that again."

He looked around, not seeing anything suspicious.

"Why?"

He looked close to crying or freaking out.

"J-just lets do it," he said quickly.

Frank nodded quickly, standing up and taking his hand, which he had started doing as a way of both keeping track of him and keeping him somewhat restrained without handcuffs in public.

It was just an added bonus that his hands were soft.

He led him quickly to the offboarding car, waiting until the train came to a halt, then pulling the assassin off with him.

"Thank you," Gerard quickly breathed out, before glancing behind them. The remaining color drained from his already paled face. "Oh shit."

"What is it?" Frank asked, not being stupid enough to turn his head and make whatever was behind them suspicious.

"An a... a guy I know," Gerard said.

Frank resisted the urge to glance over his shoulder. Was it the blond guy?

"Who?" he asked instead.

"I-uh, you don't know them."

Frank went to ask another question, but Gerard pulled him into the terminal.

"Here, I have an idea," he said, and when Frank glanced over he saw a small smile on his face.

He was pulled onto the upwards escalator, standing still on the step beside Gerard, their hands still clutched together, the grip growing a little bit sweaty.

Gerard discretely looked around.

"Oh shit, shit, shit, shit," he chanted quietly.

He turned to Frank, and looked him straight in the eye.

"Kiss me," he said.

Frank froze.

"W-what?"

"Kiss me," Gerard demanded. "Now. Public displays of affection make people uncomfortable."

"Wh-"

Frank was cut off as Gerard grabbed the front if his shirt and yanked him in for a kiss, crashing his mouth against his.

For an instant, Frank was frozen, then he registered Gerard's soft and warm lips against his, the other man wrapping his free arm around Frank's waist. He felt Gerard open his mouth a fraction of an inch, silently telling him to deepen the kiss.

Frank obliged, slipping his tongue passed the other man's lips, touching the tips of their tongues before sliding them over each other.

Gerard's mouth moved in sync with his, and he had to admit he was a good kisser.

He felt Gerard's head turn slightly, then he pulled away. Frank opened his eyes and wiped his mouth at the same time Gerard did, clearing the saliva from their lips.

They were both breathing harder than they would admit, staring at the other even though it should have been awkward.

"It worked," Gerard said, breaking the tension and glancing around. "I told you PDA makes people uncomfortable."

Frank nodded, his eyes still slightly wide.

"Where'd you get that from anyway?" Frank asked, putting the mood closer to normal and and turning away to get up the escalator more quickly.

He knew Gerard was smiling behind him when he heard the answer.

"Captain America, duh," he said. "The Winter Soldier, released 2014? Steve and the Black Widow pull the same move."

Of course his super hero obsession played into this.

Gerard grinned at him.

"I've actually always wanted to do that, so thanks," he said.

Then he leveled their paces, taking Frank's hand again.

Frank was left in a very embarrassing daze.

What did he mean by thanks?

Oh well, this was one way to cheer him up. And in the back of his mind, Frank couldn't shake the feeling that he would do it all over again if it made him happy.

Sorry this was short but the rest seemed forced. Plus, I did make them kiss, so, forgive me.

I went climbing with my friend and afterwards we went to Chipotle and he was ordering and like, making jokes about how much stuff he wanted like: 'Yeah, just keep pouring it on there' and I can barely manage to say yes or no thanks nicely without dying, and I was just staring at him like 'What are these powers and where can I get some.'

Anyway, now I'm sad bc I'm moving to a new state and this is the last time I'm gonna see him and he's a rlly good friend. Like, we always hated each other and our behavior never changed but at some point we were friends instead of just insulting each other for no reason. People get scared around the both of us together, but we're also like the class entertainment, everyone knows about our pretend argument and it's great.

OK that was weird, I wasn't planning on ranting abt my friend but oh well.

Oh wow, I just reread the chapter and that's freakishly short, I'm rlly sorry.

Love you, bye!
