I Never Gave You a Bouquet
I never gave you a bouquet.
And if I told you now,
"That's alright," you'd say.
I never gave you a diamond ring.
But if I saw you now,
you'd wear a wedding ring,
because you're married to another guy.
But when I missed you then,
I used to cry.
And does he love you now,
like I did, too?
Tell me now, is your love so true?
A lot of things
I wished I'd done.
But letting you go wasn't one.
But one little thing I do regret
that I thought of today –
I never gave you a bouquet.
