Our point of view may not be perfect for everyone around us,
But for just once can we not think about others and only us??

Now she can face it
Misha's POV
Sometimes, we find ourselves in situations that seem to have a purpose, but that purpose is often to teach us valuable life lessons. Life is all about change, and some changes are crucial for us to move forward. My life was in the midst of a significant transformation, and I needed to recognize that it was time for me to let go of my old ways of living; I couldn't continue down the same path forever.
The entire car ride was filled with our joyous conversations. Sahil shared his experiences with his studies and the upcoming match he wanted me to attend. He also told me about his girlfriend, whom he had proposed to just a week ago, describing her as a bold and spirited person, albeit in a positive way. In turn, I opened up to him about Tanya and how I was enjoying my time studying at my favorite college.
Upon reaching our college, I faced a dilemma. Should I walk with Sahil or rush inside in search of Tanya, with whom I now wished to share everything? Tanya had made me realize that I had been wasting my life without much of a social life. I wasn't sure how to change that, but I was determined to do so, and I needed her support every step of the way. It all started with sharing my true self with her, revealing my thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I found myself in a perplexing situation, torn between walking with Sahil or heading inside to search for Tanya. Before I could make up my mind, the passenger door of Sahil's car swung open, and he practically dragged me inside. I could sense a few curious gazes and hushed whispers directed at me from the people around us. It was clear that Sahil's friends were intrigued and possibly puzzled by my presence.
After a while, I spotted Sahil's group, and to my surprise, his girlfriend was among them, dressed in a short skirt and a crop top. Initially, she seemed somewhat irritated, probably wondering why I was with her boyfriend. However, her demeanor quickly shifted when Sahil explained that I was his sister. I was genuinely impressed by Sahil's choice of friends, and I made sure to compliment him on his good judgment. Eventually, I had to leave for my class as I realized I was running late.
During lunch that day, I confided in Tanya, telling her everything about the situation and seeking her advice. Instead of offering a lengthy response, she simply playfully hit me on the arm and told me how silly it was to even ask for help. She emphasized that we were friends and didn't need to ask for assistance; we simply needed to command it. Her response put me at ease, and I felt a newfound sense of confidence.
Later, as I was heading home, I saw Sahil waiting for me, and we decided to go home together. Our relationship had taken a positive turn, and it felt like we were gradually building a stronger bond as siblings once again.

One week had swiftly passed, and my daily routine had settled into a familiar pattern. It was during this time that I found myself growing closer to my brother, forging a bond that felt stronger with each passing day.
Additionally, my social circle expanded a bit at school as I made a new friend, Rishabh. Rishabh was undeniably charming, with striking black eyes and a mane of black hair that added to his allure. Interestingly, he went by the name Karan in college, although he seemed to harbor some animosity towards someone else by that name. The enigma of his relationship with this "other" Karan intrigued me.
Our connection stemmed from our shared enrollment in a Psychology class, where we were assigned permanent seats. Fate had placed Rishabh next to a girl named Ryma, while Tanya had been paired with Mahira. It was common knowledge that Mahira held the infamous title of being Karan's girlfriend.
I vividly remember seeing Mahira during my initial visit to the college canteen, her arms wrapped possessively around Karan. Tanya, who had been kind enough to provide me with this information, also mentioned having witnessed their amorous displays in the school corridors.
Today marked the beginning of another school week, with Monday heralding the start of our Psychology class. Throughout the entire lecture, Rishabh shot pointed glances in Karan's direction, hinting at an underlying tension. Meanwhile, I found myself under the constant scrutiny of Mahira, making it nearly impossible to focus on the teacher's instruction. Karan, on the other hand, seemed genuinely curious about me, his gaze fixed on me as though he were conducting a thorough examination.
In my fragile state of adjusting to this new chapter in my life, I had no intention of getting entangled in any conflicts. Thus, I chose to ignore Karan's inquisitive looks and concentrate on taking notes. However, my concentration was abruptly shattered when a paper rocket landed softly on my lap. Looking up, I noticed that the culprit was none other than Karan, whose face was now plastered on the chalkboard.
The message on the paper read:
"Meet me in the parking area after college ends. -Karan"
My mind raced with questions about why Karan wanted to meet me. Just as I began to contemplate the possibilities, my attention was drawn away by Ms. Lany, who called my name. She tasked me with distributing a notice that announced an upcoming camp organized for psychology students.
The camp was scheduled to last one week and would take place in Manali, India—a place renowned for its breathtakingly cold weather. My heart leaped with excitement at the prospect of visiting a cold destination I had always longed to experience. However, a sudden realization dawned on me that we would be departing the day after my father's expected return.
This realization left me in a dilemma. Should I inform my father about this camp, my very first solo excursion, or should I keep it a secret, knowing that he might not even inquire about my absence? The decision weighed heavily on my mind, and I found myself torn between the desire for his understanding and the urge to seize this newfound opportunity for adventure.
As I made my way to the canteen during lunchtime, my thoughts were still consumed by the dilemma I had been wrestling with earlier. The prospect of the upcoming trip to Manali with my psychology class loomed large in my mind, and I couldn't help but mull over whether to inform my father about it. It was during this contemplative stroll that I noticed Sahil heading in my direction, his face lit up with excitement.
"Hey, Mish. I heard you'll be going to Manali next week," he exclaimed, catching me off guard.
"Yeah, well, my entire psychology class is going. How did you find out?" I inquired, genuinely curious.
"My friend's brother is in that class, and he mentioned it," Sahil explained.
"Oh," I replied, though my mind was still preoccupied with my inner dilemma.
Sahil seemed to pick up on my distraction and offered his support, assuring me that he would take care of things at home and assist me with packing for the trip. However, there was something about the way he mentioned "handling" that left me feeling uneasy, though I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Before I could delve further into this unease, Sahil's friends called out to him, alerting him that he was running late for a class. With that, we exchanged goodbyes, and I made my way into the canteen.
As I entered the bustling canteen, my attention was immediately drawn to a commotion in the middle of the room. A large crowd had gathered, and I strained to see what was happening. Suddenly, Tanya emerged from the throng and forcefully pulled me into the midst of the chaos. There, in the center of the crowd, I saw Rishabh and Karan locked in a heated altercation. Karan had the upper hand, relentlessly pummeling Rishabh.
Reacting instinctively, I attempted to intervene and pull Karan away from Rishabh. Tanya, on the other hand, managed to drag Rishabh to safety, leading him out of the chaotic scene. As the two disappeared from sight, I let out a sigh of relief, only to realize that I was still holding onto Karan, who had gone rigid in my arms. I quickly pulled away from him, caught off guard by his unexpected hug.
My mind raced with confusion and uncertainty. I wasn't accustomed to strangers hugging me or showing me any form of kindness. The seconds that followed felt like an eternity as Karan finally released me from his embrace. Just as I was trying to make sense of this unexpected display of affection, Mahira appeared and forcefully whisked Karan away from the canteen, leaving me standing there in a state of bewilderment.
"What was that?" I wondered aloud, still reeling from the whirlwind of events that had just unfolded before my eyes.
