SYNOPSIS.

Bouncing between Toronto and London year round, Kingston Maverick and Everleigh Meadowlark have never really been bothered by the cold.

After a year of few ups and far too many downs, and a long awaited retirement announcement, the first thing Maverick decides to do with his newfound free time is get back to writing music—something Everleigh knows she's going to bug him about for the rest of their lives.

A cabin close to Maverick's heart becomes available and next thing he knows, he's making plans to pick up Stevie Kealoha and Brendon Ellis from Calgary International for a weekend getaway full of Christmas spirit and writing songs.

What should've been a weekend filled with friendship, festivities, and farewells slowly turns into a nightmare when a historic blizzard hits good ol' cowtown at the worst possible time.

Maybe the cold did bother them, anyway.
