Part 84:

Manik: Nandini... Nandini...

Nandini heard Manik whispering her name. She stirred out of her sleep and snuggled closer to the warmth next to her.

Manik: Nandini, wake up baba... We r almost there!

She heard his voice filled with love, as he caressed the side of her face.

Nandini: Abhi ni...

She whined snuggling closer into his chest.

"NANDU... UP!"

She heard a stern voice, making her jump up as she sat straight replying immediately,

Nandini: Yes amms, I m up!

She heard chuckled in front of her and looked up to find everyone trying hard to control their laughter except for Kartik who was shamelessly laughing out loud.

Nandini: Shut up!

Nandini snapped before backing down when she turned next to her to face an almost red Manik, biting his lip controlling his own laughter from erupting.

Nandini: Manik...

Nandini swatted away his arm making him loose his control as he laughed out loud the others joining soon enough.

They were in the jet, on their way to Mumbai for the wedding. Apart from Nandini's family, it was just Kartik and his girlfriend Rebecca joining them for the ceremonies.

All of them continued laughing while Nandini glared at Manik, before getting up and moving towards the washroom.

Manik: Arey Nandini wait...

Manik called her controlling himself only to hv her shout back,

Nandini: I hate u!

All of them laughed harder when they heard the washroom door shutting close.

Amms: Shut up u all.... Stop troubling my daughter!

All of them shut up at her words as Anjali they buckled up for the landing while Nandini too walked out after freshening up and sat at her seat next to Manik.

Manik: Nandini...

Manik called her slowly making her turn to the other side in anger.

Manik: Come on yr... I m sry!

Nandini: I don't wanna talk to u....

Nandini said turning her face away from him.

Manik looked up to see everyone already buckled up in their seats looking ahead as he moved closer towards Nandini.

Nandini noticed his movement, her eyes widening as she sat up looking at her family before glaring at Manik.

Manik: What.... I m just tightening ur seat belt!

Manik whispered eyeing downwards when Nandini noticed his hands on the belt.

Nandini: I can do that for myself..

Nandini said gritting her teeth, making sure to keep her voice low.

Manik smirked at her anger as he wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her closer to himself. Nandini's eyes broadened at it when she felt Manik bending down as he nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck.

Nandini: Manik... Leave m-me!

She whispered to him only to shutter at the end as he placed a kiss on her neck.

Manik continued placing a trail of open mouthed kisses on her neck as Nandini tilted her head to the other side giving him further access while she whispered,

Nandini: Ma-Manik.. Amms w-will see!!

Her words stopped Manik as he looked up at her, a smirk forming up on his face,

Manik: Too much scared of Amms... Are we?

Nandini looked at him, his face clearly telling that he still was making a fun of what happened earlier as she pushed him away in a jerk.

Nandini: Manik Malhotra, I hate u....

Manik laughed out loud at her words as she again glared at her making the others too chuckle.

A few minutes later, they landed at the Mumbai airport. It was around 11 in the night making them shiver at the cold december night. They moved out to see a few cars were waiting for them at the runway itself as Fab4 got down.

Cabir: And here come the Ladki walas.... Ab lagega na Shaadi h!!!

Cabir shouted moving towards all of them while the others followed him laughing.

Cabir reached near Manik, only to push him away as he made his way towards Nandini.

Cabir: Hat na be... Tujhse milne thodi na aaye h hum itni thand me!!

Manik rolled his eyes at him as Cabir engulfed Nandini in a bear hug making her giggle.

Cabir: To be Mrs. Malhotra..... Ready to live with this Monster!

Nandini: Not at all.... I think I m hving second thoughts now!

Nandini replied glaring at Manik as she rubbed her hands together before putting them in her warm jacket's pockets.

Manik smirked at her as he replied,

Manik: No matter how much second thoughts u get madam!! This time I even won't mind forcefully dragging u to the mandap if I have to!

All of them laughed at it when Manik received a smack at the back of his head. He rubbed his head turning around only to have his ear twisted as Nyonika said,

Nyonika: Stop troubling her... Will u?

Manik: Mom...

Manik whined in pain pulling away from her as the others laughed while Abhi moved out of the jet with Amms.

Amms smiled at their useless barter as Nyonika walked closer towards her, and bent to touch her feet.

Amms: Live a long life....

Amms praised her as Nyonika smiled broadly.

Nyonika: Ur most welcome.... I hope u had a peaceful flight.

Amms: We did... Thank u!

Soon anjali too came carrying a sleeping Nayan in her arms as the gang met her. When Nyonika said,

Nyonika: Its quite late and u all hv had a long flight. I think we should get going.

All of them agreed to her when she turned towards Nandini and cupped her face.

Nyonika: See u tmrw my dear.... Be on time for the Mehendi and Sangeet ohk! Someone is dying to meet u....

Nandini smiled sweetly at her nodding,

Nandini: Sure Aunty.... I m equally eager to meet her as well...

Nandini replied talking about Dadi.

All the them moved towards the Car and got in when Cabir said to Abhi,

Cabir: Abhi, I'll send u the location for the farmhouse just in case.... But anyways u won't need it much, Nandini knows the place too well...

Abhi chuckled nodding at him as they entered the car.

The first ceremony that was the Mehendi and Sangeet was to be held at the Malhotra's farmhouse the very next day. Nandini and her family were going to stay at Abhi's place for the night and directly reach the venue the next day.

All the other ceremonies were gonna be a private issue except for the main wedding which was planned to be a very grand one.

Nandini sat inside the car still avoiding Manik when her phone beeped with a msg,

Manik: No matter how much u keep faking it up, we both know what u need right now...

Nandini looked up outside the window to see Manik's gaze fixed at her making all her anger flow away as she melted down.

Rishab, Anjali, Nayan and Amms took a car, leaving Abhi, Kartik, Rebecca and Nandini in the other. While Manik, Cabir, Mukti and Nyonika took Nyonika's car while Dhruliya took theirs. They had all planned to stay at their own places today before starting with the ceremonies the next day.

Dhruv and Aliya were the first ones to move out of the airport, slowing coming up to the Main Road only to have a large crowd of media blocking them off.

Aliya: What r the paps doing here?? I thought no one knew their arrival.

Dhruv: Someone from the airport might hv leaked it out.... I guess we should just leave.

Dhruv replied to her as he slowly moved his car ahead only to be surrounded completely my the media.

Aliya: I'll inform the others.

Aliya said as she pulled out her phone and called Cabir. While dhruv looked over to see the airport security come over trying to control the crowd.

As much as the media wanted, none of them got down the car and they moved off the place in a few minutes.

That night, Nandini freshened up and lied down on the bed. She had had a long nap in the flight and thus wasn't quite sleepy, when she received a notification on instagram where Manik posted a picture of the two of them.

As soon as she posted it Manik's like came on it. When she noticed Cabir's comment to be the first.

She chuckled at it before keeping her phone aside. It was finally the day they had been waiting for, and now the night seemed too long for the last minute.

Nandini: That's the second right Abhi....

Nandini told abhi as they were on their way to the farmhouse the next morning.

Amms: Abhi..... Keep the phone aside. Nandu knows the way na, u concentrate on the road!

Amms said sternly making abhi immediately follow her words as Nandini smiled.

It was just the three of them in the car with three other cars on their trail. No one but family was invited for the functions. It was just gonna be all of Fab5's families and a few very close relatives of Manik. And the groom side was preparing the bride's welcome at the farmhouse.

Soon they reached the farmhouse to see it decked up beautifully for the ceremony. The entire house was covered with trails of fresh glowing flowers. It made a million dollar smile come up to Nandini's face just the moment she stepped out of the car.

Amms: Beautiful!!!

Amms said as she came next to her while Abhi stood on the other side. She felt him wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Abhi: They really do know u... I can see, its totally according to ur taste. Sweet and simple!

Nandini: I know who did this.... Dadi!!

Nandini said smiling broadly as they entered the house.

They walked in to see everyone running moving around talking among themselves. She recognised Cabir, dhruv and Mukti's parents. Also Manik's relatives. Navya was also present there along with her family but the entire younger clan seemed missing from her view.

"I want my daughter's mehendi to be perfect ohk!! There should be no complains.."

She heard someone's voice from the other side and saw dadi talking to the Mehendi artists.

She rushed closer towards her before jumping into a hug from her back side.

"DADIIIII"

Nandini screamed into her ears, twirling her around in the hug. While Dadi laughed out loud along with all the guest present.

Dadi: Nandu... Stop!!

Nandini stopped moving as she broke the hug and moved in front of her. Dadi raised her hand slapping her softly with a smile on her face.

Dadi: U would be the first bride to enter ur wedding function screaming like this instead of being docile.

Nandini laughed at her words Abbas hugged her again this time properly.

Nandini: I missed u so so much!!

Dadi: I missed u too...

Dadi replied to her breaking the hug as she cupped Nandini's face.

Dadi: U look beautiful!!

Nandini smiled sweetly at her and noticed her family still standing at the entrance smiling at them.

Nandini: Dadi... Come meet my family!

With this they walked in towards them and Nyonika to joined them. With all the pleasantries going on in between the families, Nandini's eyes wandered all around the place to find the person whom she was dying to see.

She was busy looking all around when she heard a voice behind her.

"No use looking around. He isn't here yet!"

Nandini turned around to see Raj smirking at her. His face immediately reminded him of Manik aas she said,

Nandini: Uncle... Good afternoon!!! I was just looking at the decor.

Raj: Sure u were...

Raj muttered smiling at her making Nandini blush hard as he leaned towards her ear.

Raj: Fab5 would be here soon.... And so would be Ur Manik.

Nandini opened her mouth to say something to him only to be stopped as he kept her hand over her head inn blessing.

Raj: Welcome to the Family!

Nandini smiled at him as he walked away and the ceremony started.

The Mehendi ceremony was going on in full swing with Nandini sitting in the middle getting both her hands filled in with beautiful designs of henna.

She was talking to Navya by her side who also got it done on one of her hands.

Nandini: So... Gonna be the next one in line!! I can already see ur mother getting too well along with Cabir's Mom.

Navya looked around to see their mother laughing along at something as a blush crept on her face.

Navya: Maybe!!

Nandini: Wow... Not declining for the first time...

Nandini said surprised before smiling broad.

Nandini: So do u want me to hint Cabir on proposing or u gonna do it urself!!! Coz I seriously don't know what goes on in his mind sometimes, u never know, he may propose u today itself or not even in the next entire year...

Navya chuckled at her as she shook her head.

Navya: I don't care... I guess I want him to be ready for this!! And he did give me off a few hints lately with all these wedding preparations going on!

Nandini: He did?

Navya nodded at her shying away as nandini smiled broadly,

Nandini: Then I guess I won't hv to wait much to start planning another wedding.

Both the girls laughed out loud at it when Nyonika came forward and said,

Nyonika: Come on ppl... Its not just Mehendi today, lets get started with some Sangeet as well... Its my son's wedding after all!

Dadi got up from her place as she walked towards Nandini picking up a piece of sweet and fed her.

Dadi: The sangeet should be started by feeding something sweet to the bride.

Nandini smiled at her broadly when navya said,

Navya: Arey but Dadi... Ur entire singing party is missing na!! How are we gonna start without them?

Navya asked meaning to ask about Fab5.

Dadi was about to reply to her when suddenly they heard mukti's voice...

Mukti: So who said Fab5 are not here...... LET The Fun BEGIN!!!

All of the smiled broadly when they heard the music start on over the band, while Mukti and Aliya moved closer and hugged Nandini,

Aliya: Maahi Ve Maahi Ve

Aliya sang pulling out of the hug as Nandini smiled.

The ceremony continued from their and soon Nandini's mehendi was over when she got up from her seat and moved off meeting all the guests.

She moved on from a few of Manik's relatives when her eyes feel over Dhruv's mom. She had grown closer to Nandini during his wedding, so Nandini was walking closer to her when she was suddenly pulled along behind the pillar and straight into a room.

Nandini: Manik...

Nandini yelped knowing who it is as Manik wrapped his arms around her waist.

Manik: So finally I get my bride all for myself...

Manik said making her smile as Nandini wrapped her arms around his neck, making sure not to spoil her mehendi.

Nandini: U were late to the very first function of our wedding Manik Malhotra.... I m gonna punish u for this offence.

Manik: Offence???

Manik smirked pulling her closer as he asked,

Manik: So what would be my punishment Ms. Moorthy?

Nandini: U'll get to know that soon.. Not now!

Nandini said softly as Manik pulled her into a hug.

Manik: Did I mention that u r looking very very beautiful today?

Nandini: No...

Nandini murmured into his chest as he tightened his grip on her bare waist.

Manik: Well u r.... I guess its the first time I m seeing u in a Saree... And u look damn amazing!

Nandini: No Mr. Malhotra.... I think I did wear one during Dhruliya's wedding.

Manik: Um hn... No!! U didn't... I don't think I would hv forgotten it if u did Madam, I notice u a lot lot more than u think I do!

Nandini broke the hug at his words as she asked,

Nandini: Is it so?

Manik: Absolutely... And so, I can tell u that u r looking more beautiful than u hv ever looked before. I guess its just the effect of my love that makes ur face glow in happiness, right?

Nandini: All the credits to urself.... U r so full of urself Manik Malhotra!

Nandini exclaimed narrowing her eyes at him as he chuckled and pulled her closer, kissing her cheek.

Manik: I feel like eating u up when u get all this angry and start looking cuter.

Nandini giggled at it and tried to pull away only to have his hold tightened. When the door was suddenly pushed open.

Nyonika: I knew they would be together...

Nyonika said to Anjali as Manik jumped away from Nandini at her words. Nyonika pulled his ear smiling at him.

Nyonika: U can never change....

Anjali stood next to Nandini trying her best to control her laughter as she said,

Anjali: Aunty... I guess its ohk! We should just let them be.... Afterall they won't be able to see each other after this till the wedding.

Manik: Right... Hmn!! Wait? WHAT????

Manik nodded pulling his ear free from Nyonika until he realised what she had said,

Nyonika: U can't meet her tmrw... Haldi ceremonies will be separate for both of u at home itself.

Manik: But why?

Anjali: Amms and Dadi's rules...

Anjali said shrugging while nandini bit her lip to stop from laughing at the amazing look on Manik's face.

Manik: But that's not fair....

Nyonika: Come on Manik... Its just the matter of one day! Stop being a child.

Nyonika said making him pout further as Nyonika and Anjali took Nandini out of the room.
