I Need You To Be There... For a little more than Always!!

Part 83:

After about two hours of sound sleeping, Manik was woken up feeling a soft pair of lips over his forehead. The heavenly scent of those long traces in his face made him come to his scenes as he felt those kisses trail downwards to both of his eyes and then to his cheeks.

He kept his eyes closed as his arms moved forward gripping her waist as he felt her moving towards his lips.

Manik felt her smile against his lips as she bit his lower lip and murmured over his lips,

Nandini: Time to wake up Mr. Malhotra!

And before he knew she was out of his arms, standing up beside the bed with a smirk on her face.

Manik: Nandini.... That was torture! U can't do that

Manik whined with a groan.

Nandini chuckled at him as she turned around towards the couch and opened up a suitcase which Manik realised was his.

Nandini: I can..... And now that u r up, freshen up fast coz its almost time for lunch everyone will be waiting for us.

Manik made a grumpy face as he got up from the bed and moved towards her taking her in a back hug.

Manik: Do we really hv to go?

Nandini: Unfortunately Yes, coz apparently u hv a really formal conversation with Amms after the lunch. Followed by another one with Rishab and Abhi....

Manik looked at her in confusion as he said,

Manik: Why do I hv a feeling that this is gonna be scary?

Nandini: Maybe it will....

Nandini said softly before getting out of his hold and turning to face him properly.

Nandini: But I know u'll handle them.... Now go and freshen up!

She said handing him over the towel as she pushed him towards the washroom.

Manik smiled at her reply as he turned around towards the washroom. A few minutes later, he was back into the room to see Nandini sitting on the couch using her phone waiting for him, it was then that he noticed her wearing a quite comfortable outfit, which was black pyjama pants and a loose warm T-shirt almost reaching her thighs. He smiled at her cuteness and noticed that she had let out an equally comfortable outfit for him on the bed. Manik changed quickly and motioned for her hand.

Manik: Shall we??

Nandini looked up smiling at him as she held his hand only to be pulled closer against him as he wrapped his arm around her waist making her chuckle as they walked out. They got out of the Villa walking towards the Moorthy Mansion, when Nandini said,

Nandini: Nice story by the way!!

Manik looked at her confused when she handed him over his phone.

Nandini: I didn't know that we hv known each other for 6 years....

Realisation drew into his eyes as he stopped and looked down at her.

Manik: Nandini.... I... I m sry we didn't get to discuss this through and I just went out and announced it.... I-

Nandini: Manik... Its ohk! And moreover it was much believable and didn't give off much so I m fine with it...

Manik smiled broadly at her and started walking again. When he asked,

Manik: How did u get to know anyways??

Nandini: Hmn.. Lets just say, it has been years since I hv woken up to find thousands of notifications on my phone.

Manik laughed at it as he opened up his phone as well to see the same in it.

Manik: This is much much more than what I hv had ever before...

Manik opened up his instagram account to see the picture that cabir had posted to go viral all around. Each and every page had the same picture all around.

The same was the case with his tweeter handle when Nandini said,

Nandini: I too logged onto my tweeter again this morning. Probably the first time in years!

Manik: As long as u r ohk with it, I m happy...

Nandini: Ur fans r going crazy...

Manik: But the response is mostly Positive, so I hv no problem...

Manik said pulling her into a side hug as they entered the Mansion.

Nandini: I just can't come around to believe that this all is actually happening....

Manik: It is... And u will believe it very soon!!

Manik whispered placing a kiss onto her hair when they heard a voice,

" Here they r!!"

They all looked ahead to see the entire family waiting for them on the dinning table. Manik left Nandini as he walked closer and bent down to touch Amms feet.

Manik: How r u Amms?

Amms: I m fine son!! Its so gud to hv u here....

Manik smiled at him as he hugged Rishab and Anjali with a nod to Abhi. He was about to take a seat next to Nandini when Nayan jumped over him from the back side.

Nayan: Manik Uncle!!

Manik chuckled at her, pulling her on his front, pulling her up.

Manik: Hello baby doll... Missed me?

Nayan: A Lot!!

Nayan exclaimed stretching her hands to the broadest.

Manik: Ohk then I will tell u a secret... I also missed u a lot... Much much more than anyone else here...

Manik said looking at her but loud enough for everyone else to hear.

Abhi: Yeah and u came here bcoz of missing nayan only...

Everyone else chuckled at it while Nandini blushed. Manik ignored his comment and took his seat next to Nandini as they started with the lunch with the conversation going on over the wedding and the preparations.

Rishab: I can't believe a month passed away so soon.... By tmrw we will all leave for India and in 4 days our Nandu will no longer be ours....

The atmosphere around the table changed slightly to a bit of an emotional one when Nandini felt Manik's finger entwining with hers.

Manik: She will always be ur sister Rishab....

Nandini looked up at him smiling as Manik changed the topic again to something else. They continued their lunch with their hands still entwined together as Manik ate with his left hand only, while she ate with her right.

Manik, Rishab and Amms were busy in their conversation while Anjali was feeding Nayan when Nandini noticed Abhi smirking at her. She looked at him confused when he smirked broader pointing towards her hand under the table with Manik, making her blush.

Nandini moved her hand to pull it out of his grip only to hv him tighten it as he turned towards her in confusion.

Manik: What happened?

Nandini nodded her face towards Abhi making Manik shrug in indifference as again concentrated on his conversation. Nandini looked at him shocked only to face palm herself as Abhi laughed.

Post lunch, Amms called Manik over to her room while Nandini took Nayan to her room to make her sleep. Manik entered Amms room when she patted on her bed for him to sit.

Manik: Yes amms?

Amms: Manik.... Do u know why I agreed to u and Nandu being together?

Amms asked softly to him, making him shake his head in a No.

Amms: Even in the presence of each and every facility and comfort around her, Nandu grew up much before her age and on one side where her father was proud of her to make her own decisions at that tender age, on the other side he was always a bit concerned about that fact. She had missed out on that innocent stage of life all she had was inside this house. And I would not hv had any problem if there was any other guy also in ur place. Coz I trust my daughter for hving an eye to recognize ppl, if u r good enough for her, then I didn't need anything else....

Manik smiled at her nodding in gratitude and was about to say something when Amms interrupted him,

Amms: But today I want a promise from u!

Manik: Anything amms... Just say it!

Amms: I want u make sure that Nandini gets that innocent love. She is smart and strong enough to hold ur hand at the difficult situations but I want u to be her guardian for life, so that she could feel that parental care from u always. I hv seen her relying on u for this, and I want u to make sure this remains the same always. May it be right after ur own marriage or even after u get ur children married.

Manik held her hands bending down closer as he said,

Manik: I promise u Amms.... Nandini always said that she found her entire family in me, I will make sure that her words be true always....

Amms: U know what Nandini's father would hv said to u today?

Manik: What??

Amms: Welcome to the family!! But u still hv time to run for ur life...

Manik laughed out loud at her words as she joined along.

Rishab: Abhi told me all that happened after Nandini came to India....

Riahab said seriously as soon as he sat infront of Manik. Manik stiffened at his words as he turned towards Abhi and whispered,

Manik: All??

Rishab: Depression, Anxiety Attacks, Suicide Attempts, Rehabs.... Yes, all!!!

Manik looked back at Rishab shocked, he knew Nandini never wanted him to know anything of it at all and they couldn't let her know about this.

Rishab: Don't worry... She doesn't know that I know and we plan to keep it that way!

Manik nodded at him slightly when Rishab sighed.

Rishab: I just wanted to Thank u.... Thank u for getting her out of it all!! It couldn't hv been possible without u, and I don't even want to think about the consequences otherwise.

Manik got up from his seat as he turned around thinking,

Manik: Even if I hv done anything yo help her, then I clearly didn't make any efforts for that Rishab, so u actually don't hv to thank me at all.... But I can't even begin to explain what all Nandini has done for me, many a times knowing the entire situation much more better than me.... She got back my broken family! She gave me my friends... She gave me Music back!! And the list goes on and on... Don't thank me.. I-

He was interrupted in his words when the door flung open and Nandini walked inside.

Nandini: Come on guys... Get over with ur talks!

She exclaimed reaching closer towards them. She stood in front of Manik, who was facing away from both the others hiding a few tears that were threatening to fall down from his eyes.

Nandini: Manik...

Nandini said as she reached forward caressing his cheek. She looked behind him at the serious faces of her brothers as she asked,

Nandini: What happened here??

Abhi: Nothing kiddo chill...

Nandini: No abhi.. Bhai, tell me? Manik??

Manik smiled softly at her as he held her hand that was on his cheek, bringing it closer to his lips as she planted a soft kiss on her fingers.

Manik: Nothing happened!!! Relax ohk?

Nandini looked at him for a few seconds before nodding slowly when Rishab asked,

Rishab: Nandu.. Are u done with ur packing?

Nandini: Umn.. Almost! A bit is left, I was going for that only.

Manik: I'll help u... Come...

Manik said holding her hand as the two brothers nodded at them and they walked out.

Once they were out of the Moorthy mansion, Nandini asked,

Nandini: What were u guys talking??

Manik: Something that's just between the three of us!! I can't tell u....

Manik said looking straight. Nandini looked down at his words when she heard manik continue,

Manik: But I can tell u one thing!!

His words automatically gained her attention as she looked at him smiling broadly thinking that he would give her a hint but Manik shook his head with a smile.

Manik: That I love u.... I love u a lot!

Nandini's eyes softened at his words as she looked away from his gaze.

Nandini: U r a cheater... U r trying to change the topic!

Manik: I m not....

Manik said back dramatically making her chuckle as they entered the Nanz Villa...

Manik: So do u wanna take along ur instruments back with u? Though u know, u can freely use everything that we hv back there, but still if u want to take anything....

Nandini: Yes.... My Appa's guitar!! I really missed it there earlier, I can't leave it this time....

Manik nodded at her with a smile as they moved up to the Music room. They entered inside as Nandini walked up to the far wall, taking up her guitar when she heard Manik say,

Manik: Why is this place a mess? Its usually quite sorted right!

Nandini turned around to see Manik at her laptop.

Nandini: Manik no... U can't see it!

Nandini shouted as she moved towards him pulling him away from her laptop and the editing thing.

Manik: Woah woah... Relax! What's happening here??

Nandini: Nothing, I m working on something and u can't see it till its the right time... U take this guitar and go to my room, I'll join u!!

Manik: But-

Nandini: Manik no... Just go!!

Nandini said pushing him behind and before he knew he was out of the room as she closed the door at his face.

Manik: And I thought u loved me as well....

Manik shouted back at the closed door though she didn't hear it through the sound proof door.

Manik shook his head at her childishness and walked down towards her room.

Later that night, after finishing off her final packing they had dinner with her family before finally calling it a day as they lay together in her room.

Nandini moved closer to him as she rested her head on his chest. Manik smiled at her wrapping his arm around her.

Manik: Dadi seems the most excited for the wedding... She has been missing u so much, I can't even tell u!

Nandini: I hv also missed her a lot Mani....

Nandini replied slowly lost in her thoughts as she lifted up his hand, playing with his fingers, listening silently to his heart beats.

Nandini: Mani....

Manik: Hmn??

Manik asked caressing her hair as he saw her entwining their fingers together.

Nandini: Will this be our Forever??

Nandini whispered softly, her eyes fixed over their hands while Manik sighed, pulling her up to look at him.

Nandini looked straight into his eyes, as Manik cupped her face,

Manik: I can't promise u a Forever that u r looking for Nandini.... But I can promise u that whatever time we get together, I will make sure that u always find some or the other reason to smile. So that whenever I need to calm myself down, I will hv ur smiling face to look at and I know that would be much much more than enough for me....

Nandini's pov:

Love?? Did I actually Love this guy???

I don't think so.... Coz at this moment, I feel the intensity of my feelings for him... And Love, seems a word too small to describe them, it didn't do any justice to my heart's feelings. I need to discover a whole new word for my feeling for him and just that look of sincerity in his eyes was enough to make me swoon over him.

Manik: I hv had enough of ur tears for a lifetime Nandini, its ur time to smile now... U hv always been an angel in my life, and Angels need to be treated like one. U-

The next thing that happened was as much a shock to me as it was to him. Before he could finish off whatever he was going to say, I moved forward placing my lips over his.

After a second of surprise, his mouth met mine in surrender and we kissed like we'd been separated for years and not just a few days. I felt Manik's arm wrap around my waist, as he pulled me onto him completely. My hands went around his neck as I dig my fingers into his hair, caressing his soft locks out of habit, while my lips never left his.

His tongue caressed on my lips, asking me to open up. My lips parted and out tongues met as my grip on his hair tightened. I couldn't get enough of him, and he too responded almost in the same way as an alluring moan left his mouth and his grasp on my waist tightened. His legs entangled with mine.

Our lips, our faces and our bodies were pressed so tightly into each others that it made me forget everything else. All I knew at this moment was Him... He was all I could hear! He was all I could think about! He was all I could feel !.... Just Him...

We pulled away on the lack of breath as his lips part from mine, trailing down leaving hot kisses along my jawline. I pulled his face closer, craning my neck to the other side giving him more access. I couldn't help but moan when he starts to nibble and suck.

My moan ended up muffed as I pulled up his Tshirt against my mouth, my hands moving over between out bodies as I caressed his front.

My fingers pulled over his Tshirt as Manik nibbled onto my neck. I forced him to stop for a second as I pulled off his T shirt, wrapping my arms around his well defined body while Manik again attacked my neck. A shiver ran down my spine as his cold fingers got inside my top, caressing my lower back while his lips got back up locking with mine. I took control over the kiss, dominating him as my hands roamed over his shoulders, earning a groan from him.

All my dominance went into trash when I left Manik's fingers trail further upwards under my top as his skimmed them over my chest assets.

A wave of pleasure rushed though my entire body making me shiver. Manik rolled us over on the bed, getting over me before he pulled my top over my head, digging his face further into my neck. I wrapped my arms tight around his back trying to pull him as closer to me as possible, pressing him with me. Suddenly I felt vulnerable, under him in nothing but My inners and shorts.

Manik seemed to hv realised my situation as he pulled back slowly, looking at me right in my eyes.

Manik: Don't be embarrassed of anything Nandini... Don't hide urself from me!! I love u, and every single thing about u.... I love it all!

A small smile came up to my lips as I moved up, placing my lips on his again. My eyes closed as Manik's hands started making their own way through my body, caressing it erupting new unfamiliar feelings through me that I had never felt before. His lips moving on from mine, further down to my shoulder.

I felt him take in a long breath into my hair as his kisses trailed on further. My bra strap interrupted his way, only to be pulled down as he continued while his fingers moved under me. A sudden gasp escaped my mouth as I felt his fingers click open the hook. Manik pulled away making me cold, when I heard his hoarse voice,

Manik: Open ur eyes Nandini....

My eyes fluttered open only to meet his eyes, hardly a few centimeters away from mine. His usual chocolaty brown eyes, seemed too darker as we got into an eye lock.

I was so lost in him, that I didn't even realise when my bra was pulled off me and thrown away, until I felt his hand grab my boob. My hand went around his neck again as I pulled him tight against myself. Out bare chests connecting together making all out desires reach the peak.

Manik's lips moved downwards over my chest making me curve upwards from my bed. My legs curled around his waist as I used my toe hells to push down his lowers. Manik wriggled his legs getting rid of it as a sudden squeak left my lips as I felt a particular part my him growing right into my thigh.

I felt Manik's smile on my chest as he pulled himself up, again taking my already swollen lips into his. I felt Manik's hands trail downwards onto my skin, moving from my shoulders, to my chest, to my petite waist as his fingers looped over the rim of my final peice of clothing. My grip around his neck tightened at the moment anticipating the next.

When suddenly I felt Manik's entire body stiffen. His fingers stilled at their place, so did his mouth. I broke the kiss slowly lookking at him confused only to see his eyes closed as he breathed as fast as I did.

Nandini: Manik...

I whispered to him, making him rest his head over mine as he opened up his eyes.

His fingers moved off from their position, as he cupped my face, planting a long kiss on my forehead as he rolled off me, on my side.

Nandini: Manik... Why did u stop?

I asked in confusion as he pulled me closer, wrapping his arm around me into a hug.

Manik: I m so sorry Nandini... I don't know what happened to me suddenly, I lost all control. This is not how I want our first time to be.... I want it to be much much more special than this. It has to be magical, it has to be out of this world. I want it to happen when u r Nandini Manik Malhotra.... All mine! By heart, soul, and law.....

Nandini: I m already urs Manik.... Always!

I whispered back to him making him nod as he kissed my forehead again.

Manik picked up his Tshirt from our side, pulling it onto my body, as he wrapped me into his arms before pulling the duvet over us.

Manik: Good night love....

I felt him whisper into my hair.

Nandini: Good night Mani!

I replied placing a soft kiss onto his heart.

Manik: Just 4 days to go...

Late again.... I know but bare with it!! Semester exams starting from the first of december and I had finish off and submit a shit load number of assignments before the classes get over.
