Part 75:

The morning light sneaked in through the curtains, enlightening the entire room with the new day's greetings. Nandini turned around to the other side, protecting herself from the sunlight with a smile over her face.

Leaving off her laziness on the bed, she got up from the bed to see a tablet kept over her side table along with a glass of water and a note. She looked at it confused, and then picked up the note,

" Just if Hangover decides to hit u today..... Well I know the possibilities are less!

P.s.: Good Morning....😘 "

Nandini: Manik...

Nandini whispered his name reading the note when all the events from last night came running to her head. She remembered every single thing in the greatest details,

each and every word that was said,

each and every tear that was shed....

She sat on the bed with a sudden thought,

"Was it all a Dream????"

A tear flowed down her eyes just at the thought of it when her eyes fell over the dress that she was still wearing. Sighing at the thought of it, she got up and moved to the washroom to hv a bath.

After a long hot shower, in which she vowed not to think about anything, she walked out and got ready in a casual dress. She had no idea what was kept in store for her, but then she didn't even want to think.

Nandini's pov:

Is it really all over..... Or is it another false hope that life is giving me?? What should I do.... I don't even know if I should be happy about everything that happened or not!!!

I moved out of my room thinking out everything, with slow steps not expecting anything from anyone. Taking in a deep breath I walked down, holding up my guards high.

I don't trust my destiny.... I don't trust my life!! It has always taken me up high only to push me back down....

But now anymore, this time I m not letting my guards down in front of anyone untill and unless I figure out what is next.

For all I know now, I hv two ways from here....

One, if everything turns out fine, then I'll get back to India with Manik and be the way we were before.

And second, the one I think is going to happen, is that I will stay here for a few more days for Amms and then go off to a new country, and start my life from scratch.

Yes, I hv it all planned. I did it yesterday itself in the park. I m not so weak that I will simply sit like this and cry over my miseries. I m strong enough to get away. I know Amms and Abhi r going to make it an issue, but this time I won't cut off from them. I will talk to them regularly, come to see them... But other than that, I want to start afresh.

I can never get back to Music, I can't..... Stardom, as he says, was responsible for Amma-Appa's death and I can never touch it back. Never.... I will better be at some far off country, alone. I hv enough memories with Manik, for myself to last my entire life. And I will be satisfied by it.

Yes, This is Right.... My decision is absolutely right. I should just go and announce this in front of everyone as I had planned yesterday. This way Fab5 too will go back to India today. I will be away from everyone's life, not causing trouble to anyone of them. I won't carry my past anywhere with me... I will leave it all behind, I will leave them all to be happy without me....

I m Nanz.... And I m as strong as she was earlier. Nothing affects me, nothing melts me down. Absolutely Nothing!!

Nandini reached downstairs expecting to see everyone at the dining table but found no one. She moved towards the kitchen and asked the servant,

Nandini: Where is everyone??

Servant: Madam, it was a very late night for everyone. They haven't got out of bed yet.

Nandini nodded at him and moved inside as she started making coffee for herself. She was standing there, half way through making the coffee when a warm hand skinned around her bare waist before taking her into a back hug.

Manik: Good morning!!

Manik's soft loving voice filled her ears as he rested his head on her shoulder.

Nandini stiffened at his sudden appearance as he whispered to her.

Manik: Some special Coffee for me too plz!!

The staff preparing the breakfast stumbled out of the kitchen silently, leaving the two of them alone.

"Was it all the truth actually???" Nandini thought again to herself, shock clear on her face as she broke out of his embrace and left her work, turning around to face him.

Manik saw her looking at him in shock, which made him confused as he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to his chest.

Manik: What happened Nandini??? Still in a hangover, I thought the tablet would hv helped u...

A tear spilled out of Nandini's eyes finally knowing that this was happening. This Was Actually Happening...

Manik noticed her tears and immediately cupped her face into his palms. As he panicked.

Manik: Nandini.... What happened?? Are u fine??

Nandini nodded her head in a yes as she immediately hugged him tight, hiding her head into his chest as he cried out loud.

Manik kept on asking her what happened but none of it reached her ears, the only thing going on in her mind was his words from last night,

"How can u become a part of my world Nandini? When you are my entire World?"

Nandini: I love u Manik.... I love u very very much!!

She finally managed to choke out as her tears stopped. Manik pulled back from her hug and wiped off all her tears as he looked straight into her eyes,

Manik: I love u too Nandini.... Much much more than I ever thought I could love someone!

Nandini smiled to her broadest at his words as he engulfed her into a tight hug. They stayed like that for what seemed like forever, enjoying each others warmth, each others presence. Until finally Nandini broke the hug and turned her back towards him.

Nandini: Now go out and let me make coffee....

Manik smiled at her and wrapped his arm around her waist again.

Manik: Never... Now I m not leaving u alone ever!

Nandini's smiled didn't fade away at his words as she continued her work with Manik's head over her shoulder as he kept on stopping small little kisses on her neck, tickling her skin with his beard.

"Ohh shit... I didn't see anything!"

Came a loud voice from the kitchen door startling them as Manik immediately left Nandini. The two of them looked around to see Anjali standing there with her hand over her eyes.

Listening to her voice, Mukbhi, Dhruliya and cabir too rushed towards the kitchen Wren they saw Manik standing near the counter, far away from each other. A flushed look over Nandini's face while Manik simply smiled at them.

Anjali removed her hand from her eyes slowly and looked back at the others.

Fab4 smiled broadly as they ran into the kitchen and engulfed Manan into a hug.

"Wo.. Hohhhh!!!" they shouted out loud.

Manik and Nandini smiled broadly at the two of them and hugged the group back.

Cabir: Ohh God.... I hvn't been this happy in years!!

Mukti: I missed u two guys...

Mukti said as she hugged Nandini again.

Aliya: Aww... Look at their faces!!! It clearly shouts out to the world, 'THE RETURN OF MANAN!'

Aliya said smiling at them. Right on queue Abhi walked closer towards them as he took Nandini in a hug,

Abhi: Just wear that smile Always kiddo..

Nandini nodded at him with slight tear in her eye which he wiped almost immediately.

As soon as the hugs got over, abhi moved away from the them and looked straight at the couple.

Abhi: Now that its all fine!! Doesn't mean that u guys can be found an action like this....

Nandini rolled her eyes at him, with a tint of red spreading over her cheeks.

Nandini: Firstly, we weren't in action, I was just making coffee and secondly, u can never stop me....

With that Nandini winked at him, making his mouth drop open in shock, while Fab5 laughed out loud at him. Mukti patted on his cheek in sympathy and walked away following by the rest.
