Part 71:

Manik: Nothing will be left behind.... I won't let it happen and I will get her back on my side.

Manik said as he got up controlling all hide feelings. And with that he moved up the stairs towards the music room.

All of them looked at him confused but still followed him up, he reached the second floor when they heard the guitar playing. Manik stopped on his tracks listening to the music. He looked at the door in front of him when he felt a hand on his shoulder, abhi nodded slightly at him when he heard her sing,

Manik heard her voice, her pain clearly visible as he opened up the door entering the room. Nandini looked up from the chair where she sat, tears flowing down her eyes as she continued.

"And all those things I didn't say

Wrecking balls inside my brain

Manik was about to take a step forward towards her when Abhi kept a hand on his shoulder and pointed towards the Camera and the recorder that was turned on pointing at Nandini.

And I don't really care if nobody else believes

She got up from her place her leg bleeding again as she shifted her gaze behind him towards the others.

Turning her face away from them looking at the camera she sang,

Limping back to her chair, she sat down closing her eyes.

She continued the music for a bit after which Abhi turned her recorder and Camera off, making her open her eyes.

Nandini: Abhi I-

Nandini said softly to him only to be interrupted by a loud voice.

Manik: Not a word more Ms. Nandini Moorthy...

Nandini turned towards him widening her eyes at his tone as the others too looked at him shocked.

Manik moved towards her in anger and stood right in front of her. Nandini looked at him shocked by the anger visible in his eyes when suddenly he snatched the guitar from her hands and lifted it up looking away, he was about to throw it away when she shouted,

Nandini: MANIKK.....

Abhi: Manik NOOO.....

He turned towards her to see tears in her eyes again as her gaze stayed still over the guitar.

Nandini: Manik it's Appa's guitar!!!

Nandini whispered slowly looking into his eyes listening to which his anger immediately fled away as he lowered the guitar slowly handling it back to her.

Nandini hugged the guitar close, kissing over it and limped towards the side wall as she hung it back there at its position. She turned back towards Manik, looking at him cautiously still fearful of his anger when he look a deep breath and walked towards her and lifted her up in his arms.

Nandini: Manik!!

Manik: Not a word I said!!!

He said sternly without even looking at her. And started walking downstairs to her room.

Manik: Cabir... Medical kit..

He said entering her room as he made here sit on the bed. The bandage on her leg was now full of blood due to climbing up the stairs making his eyes red in anger again. Not for once he looked up at her face as cabir handed him and he cleaned her wound all over again. He continued with the dressing while the others stood behind him with Nandini's gaze fixed in his face.

He finished it up and got up from her side, finally looking at her.

Manik: So... U don't want me here right??

He asked in a stern voice looking at her with his eyes filled with anger.

Nandini looked at him for a long time and then shifted her gaze away, straightening her face blank as she nodded.

Nandini: Yes.. I don't!!

Manik: Fine... Then it's no use for me to stay here and waste my time!! I hv decided I will go back.

The moment his words left his mouth all the faces turned towards him in shock. Including Nandini, she looked at him dumb folded with wide eyes, hurt clearly visible on her face.

Cabir: Manik-

Manik: No cabir.... Enough of this now!! I hv decided and it's final, this relationship is not important for either of us, then why drag it unnecessarily. Right Nandini!!

Nandini didn't reply to him still looking up at him in shock as he continued.

Manik: So this is it. I will do what u want me to but I hv a condition. I will not leave this country, this city, or ur house until and unless u make me believe that u r actually at ur best possible condition.... Physically as well as Emotionally.... I want see that u r all healed up with ur wounds, Not even a bit chances of depression on ur way, no health issues, no tears, no panic attacks, no sleeping pills and a proper sleep. If at all u r able to actually prove that U Don't Need Me, then I'll walk away.

No one dared to say a word at him when he turned around facing her back towards her.

Manik: And I'll Walk Away To NEVER turned Back..... I Will Leave FOREVER..... And EVER!! I Will Make Sure That U FORGET That U Ever Knew A Guy Named MANIK MALHOTRA And That, Is My PROMISE To U Ms. Nandini moorthy!!!!

And with this Manik walked straight out of her room leaving a deathly silence behind and Nandini wide eyes fixed at the door.

I know, but this was important from the story point of view and even personally from me, as something is better than nothing, right??
