She decided to head outside for a walk.
That's when she met Sam again,
What a coincidence. .She thought.
Sam saw her and yelled from the distance.
'Akira!'
She let out a small smile and headed towards him.
He gestured her to come and sit on the bench with him.
He started talking lots of things and she listened attentively without interrupting nor talking.
She thought Sam was a cheerful yet talkative person.
Sam continued talking about the time when his little cousin was hiding in his closet.
She giggled a little , in fact , probably the first time she giggled due to all the depressing yet insane times she went through.
Flashbacks begin again.While she was born , somebody told her parents that she will grow to an insane person.Her parents grew frightened that time and abandoned her in a forest , hoping a wild animal , probably a tiger would eat her. But her parents were too naïve , and that's when something...or...someone appeared from the shadows.
And killed them.
Now that shadow person , is known as her 'darkness'. Taking Akira and cursing her with an insane and tragic fate that cannot be changed until someone defeats the 'darkness'.
From that day , Akira was alone , maybe not , because she has her darkness following her everywhere which drives her insane.
But no human would pay attention to her or pity her.Everyone walked past her as if she was thin air.
Sometimes she would grab a knife and place the tip of the knife on her wrist , slowly cutting through , letting blood spill. She wondered what's the point of living anyways and continued with self harm each day , resulting into scars.
Scars with stories that nobody knew.
She watched the humans wondering if she's a human like them or not.She sees humans but no humanity in them.
Flashbacks dissappeared as she heard someone calling her name.
'Akira? Hey Akira? You okay there?' Sam asked.
She turned her head towards him and nodded , 'Yeah'.
'I'll go get some drinks , I won't take long.'He said as he let out a smile.
'Alright then.'She replied emotionless.
Sam stood up and headed to the drink stall leaving Akira sitting on the bench , back to her thoughts again.
Until she heard a voice in her head.

'Give up Akira.'
