She wore her mask, and sensed Sam on the roof. She decided to head towards the rooftop. When she did, she saw he was attacked by someone. That someone wore a long white coat and had dark hair. His blank eyes focused on Sam, and didn't bother about Akira who appeared. He held a blade trying to stab Sam. She ran towards the man, and threw a punch, but he caught her fist oin mid air and twisted her wrist. She held her wrist in pain, and mumbled, "Technique 333, punches."
But it failed.
He was clever.
He dodged the punches.
This is the power of a VH.
The man threw his blade at her direction. He aimed for her head, and she didn't notice. Sam ran in front of her to let the blade stab him instead.
And the blade did stab him, straight at his chest.
She was shocked, she tried to save him, but ended up getting saved. He collapsed in her arms. She was shocked. She felt time stopped, did he just save her? She wanted to save him. But he saved her instead.
"S..am.." She stuttered.
"Akira..that's you..?" He smiled.
"Yea..I'm here.." She replied, and took off her mask, revealing her face.
"Are you..okay..?" He asked.
"You're not okay, look at your condition.."
"Heh..it's fine. ."
"Sam.."
"Damn..heh..you look gorgeous."
"Stop joking around Sam."
"I'm not..my time is running up you know? Today, being able to die for someone-- is something I'm glad for.."
"N..o..don't. .don't. ."
"I'll watch you from the heavens, if there is one.." He chuckled. He begin to close his eyes, and stopped breathing. She felt someone just tore her heart into shards. She's losing everyone, bit by bit. Tears ran down her face while she watched Sam dead in peace. She had lost another precious person to her. She turned to see the VH. He was gone.
She couldn't save Sam or Meika, because she was weak.
She lifted Sam, and carried him to little isolated place. She hid his body there, not wanting other vampires' attraction to his blood. His blood smell delicious, but she won't drink it. She's raged with anger now. She's gonna kill that VH.
She wore her mask once again, and headed off.
