Insane- ch. 7

"Ani!" I shouted playfully as I ran out of breath from laughing.

He squinted his eyes and pouted. "Just say 'oppa' and I'll stop tickling you!" His fingers were at my side again and started tickling.

"H-Hajima!" I laughed breathlessly as the tears escaped my eyes.

"Not until you call me oppa." He smiled deviously.

"Yah!" I yelled when his fingers went back to my sides.

"Arasso! Arasso, 'OPPA.'" I made quote fingers around the word and he rolled off me and smiled that cute rectangle smile of his.

"There. Now was that so hard?" He used his elbow to carry his upper body up and glanced down at me.

I rolled my eyes and stood up, dusting myself off.

"Let's go take a walk!" I suggested and giggled down at him.

He groaned and extended a hand out to me.

"Help oppa up." He lazily fell backwards each time I tried pulling him up.

"Hara. Dhull. Sehtt!" I lifted him up and made him stand up forcefully which made him bump into me and push me down with him on top.

"You're pretty strong for a petite girl." He giggled and got off, picking me up easily.

I blew a piece of stray hair that fell infront of my face.

I watched as the sun went down and the cold breeze of the night took over.

"It's cold." I muttered and covered my arms with my hands.

"Aish. You didn't bring a jacket, Pabo." He made a tsk noise and suddenly started taking off his sweater.

"Aniyo! Ani! Gwenchana!" I panicked and tried to pull his sweater back onto him.

"You obviously need it Ji." He chuckled before pulling it off and putting it over my head.

I pouted but decided to go along with it and put my arms in the sleeves.

His sweater was big on me. It was almost like a dress. I had sweater paws as Taehyung looked at me admiringly.

I cleared my throat and watched as he glanced up with his face red from embarrassment of being caught looking.

"U-uh, Kaja!" He covered up his embarrassment with a smile that I came to admire. A lot.

I decided to meet up with Taehyung's parents and discuss what they know.

"Yeobaseyo?" I heard Taehyung's mother's voice on the opposite line.

"Yeobaseyo!" I answered cheerfully as I then told her my plan to meet up at my office in about 30 minutes if she could.

"I'll have to discuss with my husband but most likely we'll be there!" She sounded like a joyful woman.

With no worries at all. Like she wasn't affected by any negative things happening in her life.

Maybe this is where Taehyung got all his positive energy from.

I genuinely smiled and chuckled lightly. "Arasso! Kamsahamnida, Mrs. Kim."

"We don't really know anything about it." Taehyung's father scratched the back of his head and shrugged.

Mrs. Kim was looking dazed in another thought before she let out a sigh of content.

"I remember when Taehyung was just a little kid. With imagination and creativity." A smile twitched her lips as she opened her mouth to speak.

"His imaginary friend that he used to play with all the time. Whether it be in the backyard or in public. His imaginary friend went everywhere with him. Taehyung was attached to him and would always hold up dinner to wait for him."

She fell silent and she then pursed her lips. I could tell she was hesitating on saying something.

"H-He then became afraid of his imaginary friend. I would always see him crouched at the corner of his room, whispering for him to stop. Whenever I'd ask him who he's talking to he would just look up as if someone had just vanished then shake his head."

The tears welled up in her eyes and she clutched onto her husbands arm.

"He became weak. It started turning more violent where I heard chairs being thrown across his room and-"

She was interrupted by a sob that escaped her mouth.

"Do you know his i-imaginary friend's name?" I hesitantly asked as I stared at her with anticipation.

"His name was V."
