A couple weeks ago my dad dug out all of his old LP's and his old record player. My parents have WAY to much Elton John. My dad has several Bruce Springsteen albums, including The River. Lately I have gotten into the habit of listening to The River basically everyday. I'll just sit in front if the stereo and record player with the lyrics sheet and listen. The album tells a story about life and itms so beautiful. The River has become my favorite album and I have no idea why.

I should probably stop listening to it everyday so I don't get sick of it but that won't happen. And my dad comes home from Tennessee today and I want to listen to some Bruce with him. He is kind of what you call an obsessed fan. Or was during the 70's and 80's.

Im listening to Independence day right now and the lyrics are just a little creepy. Most of the songs on The River are a little depressing or strange. Except for maybe Hungry Heart.
