She was working in kitchen, washing dirty plates when she heard the doorbell rang.

She- WAIT I'M COMING!

But the person at the door was continuesly ringing the bell.

She- I said I'm coming, why are you...

Her words died in her mouth when she looked at the person standing at the door. He was drunk, his eyes red and lusty, his clothes disheveled. Her Husband, her so called husband.

She went inside without saying a word. She was scared? Hell yes!

Guy- Annika!

She stood still at her place. Everything about him scared her, she don't want to do what he is going to ask for. But she still gathered the courage and turned to him.

Annika- Ye..yes.

Guy- I want you in my room, fast!

Annika- N--No.

Guy- Huh? What you said? You're denying me?

Annika- You know I'm sick Riansh. I can't do it.

Riansh- Do you really think i care? I'm your husband and if I'm saying i want you that means i want you.

Annika- And if I'm saying No that means No. It has been almost 4 months to our marriage and you are always dictating me but not anymore. I'm not listening to you. Get this bloody thing in your mind.

God knows how but she got this courage to answer him finally.

Riansh- ANNIKA!

He shouted in anger and slapped her.

Riansh- What you think of yourself? You're no where near to my type. My parents forced me into this marriage because your parents said you'll be like our maid. You'll listen to whatever we say. You'll pleasure your husband whenever he ask. And here you're back answering me. You whore! Your parents knew that you're worthless and wanted to get rid of you.

Annika cried in pain. Not the pain his hand caused to her cheeks but the one his words caused to her heart. He was speaking truth anyways, she's worthless. But that doesn't mean she'll not fight for her dignity.

She was busy in her thoughts when he held her hair and made her look in his eyes. She was glaring him with the same fierceness.

Riansh- Eyes down now!

He ordered but she didn't do that. She glared him more fiercely and a slap landed on her face again.

Riansh- Today I'll punish you for your deeds.

He said and started dragging her to the bed. She now realised she's into deeo trouble.

Annika- Leave me Riansh, you can't do this to me. I've never said no to you . You just can't do this to me. STOP!

She started shouting.

He didn't paid any attention to her words. She was still screaming loudly.

He threw her on bed and hovered over her.

She felt so helpless. Yes she did some crimes and always asked for punishment from god but she never imagined her own husband will rape her.

Annika- Please Please Please Riansh! Please leave me, I'm your wife. You can't do this to me.

Riansh- You're right, you're my wife. I've every right over you. I can do whatever i want.

She screamed in pain and requested him to leave , but he continued and continued and finally took a sigh of relief. A relief for him and an everlasting scar on her soul and she want to escape from the world into some black hole.

The marks of her nails carved on his neck's right side, the marks of his teeth were all over her body. He was sleeping now, turning her whole world upside down.

What wrong she did to deserve this? She was forced into this marriage but she never wanted to jeopardize a pure relationship like marriage and that's why she decided to forget her past, her miseries, her pain and invested herself completely in this marriage.

When she asked for sometime on their first night he said he loves her and can't be able to hold till so long so she gave into that too.

They consummated their marriage on their first month anniversary because he wanted it.

She still remember the first time he slapped her because his mother complained something about her to him.

She started slipping into depression slowly but no one noticed. When she went to her parents and told them about this violence she was facing they were so cool, like nothing happened.

She cried thinking about her unborn child. Yes, she was pregnant. Her husband planned a surprise party on their 3 months marriage anniversary and she fell unconscious in that party. She opened her eyes and she was in some hospital.

Annika opened her eyes on a hospital bed. She tried sitting up when her husband entered the room fuming.

Annika- What happened to me Riansh? Why we're here?

Riansh- Stop this bullshit drama Annika. I thought you were at birth control pills.

Annika- Yeah i was using them but why you asking that?

Riansh- Because you were fucking pregnant Annika.

Annika- What really?

She cried in joy but the something hit her.

Annika- Wait! What you mean i were pregnant?

Riansh- Nothing, you just had an abortion.

Annika was shocked, she cried loudly this time.

Annika- Riansh how dare you to kill my child? It was not mine but our child. You're not a human being you're a fucking monster.

Riansh slaps her.

Riansh- Keep you voice down Annika. I'm not ready for a child and that's why I asked doctor to kill that little piece of shit. Now don't make me angry otherwise I'll kill you too.

Annika cried and cried the whole night. Why god is so cruel to her?

But it's enough now! She won't take it anymore. She'll fight for her and she'll take revenge of her child too.

Annika stood up with much difficulty and walked to the washroom.

She just stood under the shower crying. She started rubbing those places where her husband no not husband that rapist touched her.

You've to fight Annika, you have to fight for yourself. Fuck society and their norms.

Get ready Riansh Khanna, I'll not leave you for doing this to me.

She was continuesly saying these things to herself but deep down she knew she's too weak to fight!

She packed her bag and left for her friends house.

Annika knocked the door of her friend's house.

The door opened after few minutes.

Dr. Sanjana Shikhavat (Annika's friend)

Sanjana- Oh my god Annika! You here this late. What happened?

Annika hugs her crying.

Annika- I don't want to live their anymore. He's a monster.

Annika's breaths started getting heavy and she fell unconscious in Shikha's arm.

Sanjana somehow made her lay on the bed and took out her doctor kit.

Sanjana was a independent and confident widow. She got married when she was 18 and her husband died when she was 19. Her in-laws called her bad omen and all but she completed her studies and now a famous Doctor.

Annika is younger than her and she treats Annika as her little sister.

She was out of town when Annika's parents forced her to marry Riansh. Sanjana never liked that guy. He was elder than her and way too elder for Annika but Annika's orthodox parents never understood these things.

After some time~

Annika started screaming in her sleep. Sanjana went to her and hugged her tightly.

Sanjana- Shss...Shs.. Anu. It's okay! I'm here. Don't panic, I'm here with you.

Annika- Sanju Dii, he's a monster. He--he.. *She started hiccuping*

Sanjana- Wait I'll get you water.

Sanjana tried getting up but Annika hugs her from her waist.

Annika- N--No no please. Don't leave me, he'll come again.

Sanjana- No Annika, he won't come. You sit, I'll get water for you.

Sanjana went to take water but when she returned Annika wasn't on bed.

Sanjana- Anu? Annika? Where are you?

Sanjana started looking for her when she heard some sounds coming from the washroom. She went there to see Annika sitting on the floor, burying her head in her knees and hiccuping.

Sanjana's heart ached to see her like that. Annika was the most cheerful person she knew. Even after having such strict and orthodox parents Annika never complained. She respected them and they did this with her.

Sanjana- Anu? Come here. Let's go to the room. Why are you sitting here?

Annika finally looked up and started crying looking at Sanjana.

Annika- Sanju Dii please save me. No one will help me. I don't want to go back.

Sanjana- No one is sending you back Anu. Come here please!

Annika stood up and cried in pain as soon as she tried walking. Sanjana helps her and makes her lay on the bed again.

Sanjana- Annika, have some food and medicines. We'll talk about this tomorrow morning. Okay?

Annika nodded and had her food silently. Though she puked after two bites but Sanjana still made her eat some food and medicines. Sanjana added a sleeping pill in Annika's food so that she can sleep peacefully.

Next Morning~

Annika opened her eyes and the memories from last night flashed before her eyes. She screamed loudly.

Sanjana- It's okay Anu, you're okay! You're here with me. Don't worry!

Sanjana worked in Forensic department and she is mastered in handling such traumatised women.

Sanjana- Annika you need to calm down and tell me what happened?

Events of last night started flashing in her mind but this time she was adamant to tell her everything and not get scared. She promised herself that she'll take revenge from her husband monster. She'll take revenge for everything her did to her and her child.

Suddenly she got this much needed courage and she narrated the whole incident to Sanjana.

Sanjana was fuming in anger.

Sanjana- How dare he? How dare he treat you like this? And what's wrong with you Annika? You should have told me. I know you were under some guilt and remorse but no atonement costs your life. What if he murdered you?

Annika- What he did to me is far more bigger than murder. I would have died happily but this. I feel disgusted Sanju Dii.

Sanjana- Don't worry Annika, that bastard will pay for it. I know a lawyer, he's like my younger brother. He is so good in handling such cases. I'll go talk to him till then you take rest okay?

Annika hummed and Sanjana left to talk to that lawyer.

Other Side~

A guy is seen sleeping half naked. The room is a mess, there is smell of cigarettes and alcohol everywhere when the phone buzzed. He received tha call while rubbing his eyes.

Guy- Hello! Shivaay Singh Oberoi speaking.

Sanjana- Hello Shivaay, Dr. Sanjana this side.

Shivaay- Sanju Dii aap. This early? Everything's fine right?

Sanjana- No Shivaay i need your help.

Shivaay- Always Dii! Tell me what happened?

Sanjana- There's a girl Anu, she's like my little sister. Her parents forced her into a marriage four months ago and her husband was quite abusive from the starting itself. She was raped last night by her husband.

Shivaay- Bloody Bastard? how old is she?

Sanjana- 23 something. I guess she'll complete 24 in few months.

Shivaay- And is she facing any other mental trauma? I mean tell me everything you know. It'll help me in making her case file stronger.

Sanjana- Her husband aborted their child without asking her one month ago.

Shivaay- Anything else?

Sanjana- I actually don't know everything yet. I'll take her to you and you can ask her.

Shivaay- Okay then! We'll meet at 6:00 PM.

Sanjana- Yeah sure and one more thing Shivaay.

Shivaay- Yes?

Sanjana- She's under some weird kind of guilt. I don't know what but she was studying abroad and when she returned she behaved very weirdly. God knows how many times she tried self harming.

Shivaay- Hmm ok. I think I've to meet her before making the case file. Don't forget to meet me today.

Sanjana- Sure. Take care!

Shivaay- You too!

Shivaay rested the call and looked at the picture hanging infront of him.

Shivaay- Good Morning Babe! Hope you are doing well because the day i find you, your life will be nothing less than hell.

He walks to that picture and starts crying.

Shivaay- Why Nini why? I loved you so much and you did this to me? Look what you made me? I'm thinking about revenge 24×7 just because of you. I was never like this nini. You made me this. I still love you so much!

He wiped his tears and went to get ready.
