Flashback~

Shivaay was getting ready in his room for "not-a-date" .

Louis- Yo man! Looking nice. Where are you going though?

Shivaay- I'll talk to you later loo. I'm getting late.

Louis- Atleast tell me where are you going?

Shivaay- Umm I'm going out with Annika. I'll be back soon.

Louis- Woohoo! This was pretty fast bro.

Shivaay- Shut up and Bye!

He glanced it watch for the fifteenth time to check the time. It was 6:15 already.

"Ofcourse girls!" he said rolling his eyes.

"You said something?" He heard her voice.

Shivaay- Me? N--no! I didn't said anythi...

His words died when he looked at her, She was looking so beautiful in that simple white summer dress.

Annika- Shivaay? I heard you saying something.

Shivaay- Huh?

Annika- Why are you so weird?

Shivaay- Am i?

Annika- Ofcourse duh!

She rolled her eyes and Shivaay chuckled.

Shivaay- Let's go Annika!

They were sitting facing each other in a small cafeteria. The most cosy and affordable cafe near to their college campus.

Shivaay- Let's order first.

Annika- Yeah sure!

Shivaay- I'll have one Chicken sandwich, chocolate donut and a cup of espresso. Thank you!

Annika- I'll have a cheeseburger, one latte and some cupcakes please. Thank you!

The waiter left requesting them to wait for few minutes.

Annika- So?

Shivaay- So?

Annika- You know what? I'm still not sure why I'm here with you. But i just couldn't deny when you asked.

Shivaay- But I'm sure why i asked you out.

Annika- Really? Why?

Shivaay- Will tell you later. Now let's play some question game to know each other better.

Annika- Okay! What about 14 questions?

Shivaay- I've heard if 21 questions but what's 14 questions?

Annika- Dumbo! I've just reduced the number questions.

Shivaay- I'm not dumbo.

Shivaay rolled his eyes.

Annika- Huh ofcourse!

Annika laughed.

Shivaay- Do you have a boyfriend?

Annika- Ah huh! You jumped really close in the first question itself.

Shivaay- I'm pretty straight forward yk!

Annika- Yeah i can see it very well. Anyways answering your question, No i don't have any boyfriend.

Shivaay- YES!

Annika passed him a confused look.

Shivaay- Um--m I mean it's pre-pretty good that you don't ha-ve any boyfriend.

Annika- You're weird!

Shivaay- Taking it as a compliment.

He winked and she giggled.

Annika- My question! Sunset or sunrise?

Shivaay- I'm okay with anything if you're beside me.

Annika- Shivaay don't. You're not some bollywood hero. Answer properly.

Shivaay- Sunrise maybe!

Annika- Sunsets are better.

Shivaay- Whatever you say.

Annika- Why are you so different from others?

Shivaay- I'm counting it as your second question. I'm not different, I'm UNIQUE.

Annika- Whatever!

Shivaay- What's your fav movie genre?

Annika- Every movie of Hritik Roshan.

Shivaay- WTF? You like Hritik Roshan?

Annika- Like? I love Hritik! But what's so shocking about that? I mean who doesn't love him?

Shivaay- Me! I don't like Hritik and now I've one more reason to dislike him.

Annika- Haaye Rabba! What am I doing here? Why the hell I'm sitting with this man here?!

Shivaay- Excuse me?

Annika- Excused!

She rolled her eyes and twisted her lips at the same time.

Shivaay- Annika please.

Annika- Okay i was kidding. But seriously I'm still not sure why am i sitting here with you. You don't even like Hritik Roshan.

Shivaay- Such a drama you are!

Their orders arrived and they had their food talking about random things like likes, dislikes, hobbies, education, future plans etcetera.

Annika- Bill please!

Shivaay- Annika would you mind paying for my food too? I forgot my wallet at home. I'll pay the next time.

Annika- Why are you so sure that there's gonna be a next time?

Shivaay just shrugged in response.

Annika paid the bill and they were now sitting thinking what to ask next. Annika was left with two questions and Shivaay was left with one question.

Annika- Shivaay tell me about your family. Who's there in your family?

Shivaay- I don't have family Annika.

Annika- Huh? Sorry?

Shivaay- I'm an orphan Annika. I lost my parents in an accident.

Annika- Oh!

They both fell silent.

Annika- Look Shivaay! I'm not someone who'll say Oh I'm so sorry for your loss. I know you must have gone through so much but you made it right? So there's no point of talking about it. I'm sure your parents are sitting somewhere in peace and watching you grow everyday.

Shivaay- You're so awesome Annika.

Annika- That i am! You ask your last question.

Shivaay- No-no. I'm yet to think of a good question. You can ask your.

Annika- Oh okay! This question is out of box i guess but what are the qualities you're looking for in your future partner?

Shivaay- Nothing!

Annika- Ah huh? What?

Shivaay- Yeah nothing! I was looking for someone i see and instantly feel a connection. No matter if  she's dark, fair, tall, short, fat, skinny, good cook or bad cook. I just wanted to feel a connection.

Annika- Wow! Anyways are you going to ask your last question or should we go?

Shivaay- I'll ask it on the way. Let's go!

They were walking silently towards their college campus.

Annika- Shivaay look we are almost here. Are you going to ask or not?

Shivaay- Will you be my girlfriend?

Annika- WHAT?

Shivaay- Will you be my girlfriend Annika?

Annika- Me? Why--i mean--How me?

Shivaay- Look Annika please don't reply with that "Me? No Shivaay you deserve better."

Annika passed him an ARE YOU FOR REAL? look.

Annika- I'll never say you deserve better to someone because I'm the best.

Shivaay- Then please answer my question.

Annika- Shivaay...

Shivaay- Give me your phone.

He said forwarding his hand and she gave her phone. He fastly dialled a number.

Shivaay- This is my number.

Annika- Shivaay i need time. We don't even know each other yet!

Shivaay- Take your time Annika.

Annika- Umm okay! Let's go now!

Shivaay- Bye Annika! I love you!

Annika stood rooted at her place.

Annika- Y-yo-you whah--what?

But Shivaay just smiled at her and walked away.
