8| Interrogation Fun

Ibiki dragged me down somewhere underground to be interrogated,  I was struggling the whole way down, yelling profanities and such. No matter what I did, no matter what I said, Ibiki would not let me go for a second. His bruising grip was beginning to annoy me, I don't want any more marks on my body.

"Let me go, dammit!" I shouted, pulling at my arms. "You god damn leaf ninjas don't know what privacy is, huh?!"

Ibiki snickered and glanced at me in boredom, "Can you keep your mouth shut? This will be easier if you do." He mused, tossing me into a pitch black room.

I shivered at the sudden wave of cold air hitting me. Ibiki dragged me over to a chair and tied me up, making sure that my wrists were secured against the metal. I glared at him, occasionally spitting out words of hatred.

"Shut up and stay still." He said, walking over to me, the Hokage following suit.

So she decided to join. Great. I smirked up at her.

"So, Tsunade. What made you think I was such a terrible person that I would hurt someone I don't even know?" I asked, venom lacing my voice.

Tsunade smiled darkly. "What makes you think I'm doing this for that reason?" She said, scoffing softly. "I have other reasons to do this. Like who you really are, innocent reaper."

My eyes widened. She said that name. how did she know or get the idea that I was her? I glared at her.

"What are you talking about, Tsunade?" I asked, acting dumb, my head titled to the side as I eyed her curiously.

Tsunade frowned. "Don't play dumb with me. It's only obvious I would know. After all, you're pretty well known through out  the five great nations." She stated.

I bit my tongue hard enough to draw blood. Dammit, this Hokage is very intelligent. I didn't think she would figure out my identity so quickly. She can't find out my name, I can't let her or Ibiki find it! Shit, shit, shit! I'm done for! I have no tricks up my sleeves!

Tsunade sighed and glanced ovee at Ibiki, "You know what to do, Ibiki. Get me all the information you can about her no matter what. I'll be outside speaking to Shizune if you need anything." She mused, before leaving the room, her green jacket flowing behind her.

Ibiki smirked, "Understood, Hokage-sama." He said, eyeing me darkly. "Get ready to face your worst nightmares again, brat." With that, Ibiki called in someone named Inoichi.

A man with long blonde hair in a ponytail walked over to me with blank eyes. He nodded at Ibiki and walked over to me, placing his hand on my forehead.

"Hey, get your hand off me, you idiot!" I shouted, shaking my head around, trying to get his hand off me. "GET AWAY--!"

He chuckled, "Let's see who you really are..." He said, darkness overcoming me.

I glared at both of them weakly, my head going limp. "I hate you all..." I spat, shutting my eyes to enter a harmless slumber.

~*~ Flashback ~*~

"Hey, Sasori!" I shouted, waving around one of his precious puppets in the air, casually staring at him. "Why do you have this damn puppet in your room? Do you still play with dolls or something?"

Sasori turned around, his eyes widening at the sight of his doll handing from my hand. "Hand that over, brat." He ordered, sticking his hand out, cold eyes piercing my own.

I shook my head, "Why should I?" I asked, smirking madly. "Are you going to...kill me?"

He glared at me, "Yes, now hand it over." He repeated, walking towards me.

I twirled the puppet around by its strings, yanking it back and forth like it was a yo-yo. Why should I give him this stupid doll back? He could always make another one for himself. From the corner of my eyes, I spotted Deidara staring over at us. I rolled my eyes. Great, now Miss. Transy is looking. Can this get any better?

I kicked the doll up in the air as if it were a ball, "You know, this could be a perfect ball to kick around... Maybe I'll keep this." I mused, smiling fakely.

"Stop it already, you damn brat! Don't make me get your brother!" He seethed, making me growl at the mention of him.

"He is not my brother! He will never be considered my brother ever again, not after what he's put me through!" I shouted, tossing his puppet at him. "Take your fucking doll back. I don't care anymore."

Sasori caught the doll and walked away, leaving in silence. I scoffed and ran outside the base, hearing someone shout my name. I ran to this place I considered my sanctuary. It was a small garden where irises grew along with beautiful roses. In a matter of minutes, I made it.

I sat down on the edge of this pond the flowers surrounded. I clicked my tongue, tears welling up in the corner of my eyes.

"Hey... It's been two whole years since I was taken from my village by my own blood, well, he's not blood anymore. He's nothing to me now." I muttered, grabbing a rock and rubbing it between my thumb and forefinger. "I can't even leave this place without getting stalked by one of the Akatsuki members. Pretty fun, am I right?"

I let the tears fall, letting my pity and anger out. I held my head in my arms, sobbing softly. I just want to go back with Kakashi and the others! I want my old life back!

"Dammit, dammit, dammit!" I growled, yanking at my hair. "J-Just kill m-me!"

"Do you really think that's a good idea, un?" A voice stated.

I spun around with my tear stained face showing my shock. "D-Deidara!? What a-are you doing here?!" I asked, wiping at my eyes furiously.

My arms were held tightly and held away from my face. Deidara stared at me. I gulped.

"W-What is it? Are y-you going to m-make fun of m-me?" I spat, jerking my arms out of his grip.

Instead of saying anything to tease me in my current appearance, arms wrapped around me and pulled me into warmth. Deidara ran his hands through my hair, while muttering soothing words into my ears.

"Shh...It's okay, let it out, un." He said, whispering softly.

I did as he told, letting out all my feelings that I've held on over the years. The anger, sadness, loneliness I've felt. All of it.

"Deidara!" I cried, "J-Just end it here, p-please!"

He shook his head, giving me a hard glare. "Stop saying such things, un!" He shouted, shocking me as he smacked me across the face. "I'm not killing you... The thought hasn't even crossed my mind, un."

I held my cheek, hiccuping every so often. "W-Why?" I asked, curiously.

He smiled genuinely, his blonde hair swaying along with the slight breeze. "Let's just say I care, un." He chuckled out.

I smiled gently and threw my arms around him, squeezing him tightly.  T-Thanks, Deidara. I appreciate it." I muttered.

"Hey, Ji-chan, un."

I rose an eyebrow, "Ji-chan?" I asked, shocked and surprised.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "Yeah, friends give each other nicknames right, un? That's yours..." He muttered.

I grinned, "Thanks, Deidara."

"Hey, Ji-chan?"

"Hm?"

"I'll help you escape this hell hole. Just when it's the right time, un."

"Kanji, stop being such a brat!"

I snarled, "Who are you to be telling me what I can't do?" I sneered.

"I'm your brother, for God's sake! Can you just listen to me for once!" He shouted.

I rolled my eyes, grimacing over at Sanji. "No you're not, and my names not Kanji. It's Ji." I stated, walking away from him.

It's been two and a half years since I've been taken into this place called the Akatsuki. No one was able to talk to me without getting yelled at besides Deidara. He was the only friend I had here. The others and I never got along, Hidan was pretty cool though. We both did talk about Jashin and weapons, but other than that we never got along.

My shoulder was roughly pulled back, I winced and shoved Sanji away. "Dear Jashin, what do you want?!" I shouted.

Sanji frowned, "Do you really want to know what I want? Huh, do you?!" He shouted, "I'll tell you then... I want my beloved sister back, the one I brought with me two years ago. My beautiful twin, Kanji. Where is she? I don't want this Ji you speak of, I want my sister."

I smiled widely, bringing Sanji's hopes up. "Well then, let me tell you this, dear Sanji."

"That girl you called Kanji, that sister you now cherish... She's dead now. Hah, she's long gone."

~*~ Over ~*~

I awoke with a gasp, struggling for air. Once I opened my eyes I came face to face with Inoichi and Ibiki. Surprisingly, Ibiki's eyes were wide in shock.

"Impossible..." He muttered, catching Inoichi's attention.

I hung my head, letting my bangs cover my eyes.

"You're Kakashi's daughter."

It seems like my secrets out.
