It eventually came to me that I was hugging Kaylan. The same person who had sworn to make my life a living hell.
"Come, dear, let's leave from here,". Kaylan's mom said. And left with her husband.

Before leaving, grandpa had asked Kaylan to get me to the room so I could rest.
Kaylan shook his head and we left as soon as his parents and grandfather went back to the living room.

"Seat down". Kalyan pushed me unto the bed and went off to shut the door.
While he walked away, I swore I heard laughter.
"Kaylan, are you laughing?". I said unable to understand.
Kaylan turns back and faced me.
"Yes, I'm sorry, but I can't help myself, you were so paranoid at the cellar, I didn't know you would act like this, I would've locked you sooner.". He expressed and laughed again.

Wait, what?
Kaylan was the one who locked me inside the cellar.

It's astonishing to think he would do such a thing, what if something bad had happened?
I don't do well with confined spaces, I get hyperventilating and start to freak out. I'm clusterphoic after all.
But what would kaylan know, after all, he had me locked inside the wine cellar.

I went into the bathroom and locked myself.
"Alina, don't you have anything to say?". Kaylan shouted standing at the door of the bathroom.
He knocks on it. However I decided to ignore and after getting myself ready for bed, I  come outside.

Kaylan was napping already.

Tonight I felt like not sleeping on the same bed with kaylan, not after what he did to me.
A mat was at the side. I went off to take it and gently rolled it on the ground, I took a pillow on the bed to rest my head on it.

After five minutes of closing my eyes to sleep,  on the bed, I heard kaylan grunting from his sleep.

I stood up to see what was happening.
And met kaylan holding both his hands to his neck. He was choking himself in his sleep.

I went close and hit on his shoulders.
"Kaylan, wake up,". I said.
I kept on trying to wake him up, when suddenly, he opened his eyes, held both my hands, and flung me onto the bed

"Why are you so close to me?"
Kaylan interrogated.
"Really, can't you see?".
I looked back and he did, seeing his hands around my waist, and our bodies pressed against each other.

Kaylan gets sickened and pushed me away.

"Didn't I warn you never to sleep in my bed?".
Kaylan announced.
"I'm sorry, I've you gone mad, I didn't sleep on the same bed with you,". I got down, taking up the mat to his gaze, "I slept here,  only to have you, ruin my sleep with her stupid nightmare,".  I placed the mat on the ground again and lay on it.

Kaylan turns the light off and I faced away, having to compel myself to fall asleep on the mat.

The next morning, I woke up quite early. Since I couldn't sleep well last night.
All through the night, I had the stunt kaylan pulled, running through my mind.
Will I not get even?

I rode outside heading to the kitchen. At the door, I heard two maids gossiping.
One expressed her dislike for Kaylan's rude attitude, while the other, maid had nothing else to say but immediately concurred. While listening, they both mentioned Kaylan's fear of rats.
And that immediately gave me an idea.

I past the kitchen and went into the yard. There must be a rat living at the mansion right?..
"Miss Alina, are you looking for something?". The security guard at the gate walks up to me.
I turned back and said, "tell me, do you perhaps know where I could find some rats,".
The guard stares with uproar.
I'm guessing he wants to know why I need a rat right?..
A boy passes the gate, surprisingly he was selling rats. I had to run out of the mansion just to stop him. And back inside to grab my wallet from the room.
Kaylan was still fast asleep. I tiptoed my way in and out without him knowing about it.
He's in such a deep sleep... Jeez.

I bought the rat from the boy and ran past the curious gaze of the guard outside, I hope he doesn't tell kaylan about what he saw.

I stepped inside the mansion. The rat was hiding inside a black cloth.

I made sure no one sees me as  I walked into the room.

Thankfully, I met kaylan still asleep.
Slowly I let the rat lose by keeping it on his bed right next to him, before running away.

I hope he gets to scream out of fright.
