Serena's POV

I was just standing there looking at the man who was having trouble standing up, Ash and the others sent out all of their Pokemon and the man's grunts surrounded them.

Their Pokemon's all launched their attacks causing a massive explosion, but I was still there looking at the seen unfold doing nothing just smiling and giggling from seeing destruction.

I just can't believe that I can't even control my body, because of me they got involve in this...I just want to end it.

You want to end it? You really want to end it? You want to fight alongside them? Then tell me who is your light?

A voice echoed in my head as I felt dizzy for some reason, I felt my body twitched and my hands tremble.

I was able to move my mouth and arms, but not my entire body

Now tell me, who is your light?

"Ash..." I mumbled out, I see him battling with his Pokemon just to save me and the other trainers, he looks so determined, so undefeatable, so kind.

Who is your light?

Flashbacks began to play in my head. When I met him, when I reunited with him, when I confessed my love to him, when I....was no longer the girl with the straw hat.

My vision blurred out as I was like going somewhere else. Little by little Ash's figure and the rest disappeared and I was in another void, but this time it felt safer.

"You want to fight alongside him?" A childlike voice asked, I turned around and saw a straw hat honey blonde haired girl standing there waiting for an answer.

"I don't know" I mumbled out "What happened to never give up till' the end?" She looked at me with pity, great even my past pitys me.

"But-" she cut me off "You seriously think Ash is that type of guy?" I shook my head "Then why?" I bit my lower lip and stared at the ground "Why did you let yourself get taken over by darkness?" I looked at her "I lost hope....I got lost and my light couldn't find me at all" I said

She held out her hand for me to grab "Even so don't give up! Ash wouldn't like that one bit" she grinned "Yeah, I guess your right" I grabbed her hand "Now who is your light?" I look at her and smiled "Ash is my light, I can't believe I forgot that. He will always be there when I need him and I will be there to encourage him. I know who's my light and that's what I am fighting for" I said determinedly "The girl with the straw hat has returned...your father gave you a gift just look into your pocket and you will see" then I was back into the battle field.

I saw Ash panting on the ground while the others were fighting with all their might.

I felt my body loosen up as I was able to walk again.

"I won't give up!" I exclaimed, I ran towards Ash, but little did I know that a hyper beam was about to hit him.

I won't be able to reach him in time until I saw Alain pushed him aside causing him to be the one to get hit.

"Alain!?" Ash gasped, Alain was badly injured and he looked like he fainted

I ran up to Ash and he noticed me. He ran up to me and gave me a big hug "I'm sorry, I'm sorry " he sobbed, I returned the hug "Don't be...I'm the one who should be" I whispered.

Then I heard someone applaud "Nice Job Ash Ketchum, you manage to wake her up from her own madness" the man smirked "THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD EVER FORGIVE YOU GIOVANNI!!" Ash snapped, I looked around and saw my other friends fighting for me.

Then I remembered about something in my pocket I put my hand in my pocket on my red cardigan and I saw three Pokeballs.

I saw Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. I sent out Xerneas and Giovanni gasped "Incredible!" He exclaimed

Ash looked at me with worry in his eyes "Serena don't do anything reckless" he said, I gave him a quick peck on the kiss "I won't" I said

I stood beside Xerneas and it felt familiar to me. This feeling was just like when I was battling Calem, a battle that I couldn't afford to lose.

I looked at my left and saw Calem looked at me with worry, I smiled and gave him a thumbs up "Don't worry, I found the Serena in me" I exclaimed

Giovanni laughs mockingly "You think you can beat me? Hahaha" I shot him a glare and I felt Xerneas feeling a bit angry.

"Just you wait when you see me in action" I smirked "Ok then, Rhydon Giga impact!" The Rhydon that was beside him pounced at Xerneas "Xerneas Hyper beam!" Xerneas launched a hyper beam at Rhydon.

The two Pokemon began to recharge their strength back, but Rhydon got its energy back first "Thunderbolt!" I gasped as Xerneas got hit by Thunderbolt causing it to faint.

"You see child? You cannot defeat me" he smirked, I gritted my teeth and sent out Yveltal "I see that your trying to save the best for last, heh I'm afraid that won't happen" He said.

I felt my friends watching and the other trainers suffering. I clenched my hand into a fist and looked at him straight on "I Will Never Give Up! " I exclaimed then I heard my friends cheer for me.

"Don't give up!" They kept on cheering for me to end this battle, but I think I want a little fun for this battle

"Yveltal Life drain!"

"Thunderbolt"

"Dragon pulse"

"Giga impact"

"Hyper beam!"

Giovanni's Rhydon fainted, he gritted his teeth and took out another Pokeballs "Don't underestimate me kid! This is my strongest Pokemon and I won't let it be beaten by you!" He snapped and a Charizard appeared.

I returned Yveltal back to its Pokeball "Even if is your strongest it still needs your feelings and bonds to be stronger than its strenght! Go Delphox!" I threw out its Pokeball and Delphox appeared.

"Flamethrower " he commanded "Delphox turn to your left then right!" Delphox nodded and gracefully dodge flamethrower

"Psychic!" I shouted "Dodge it you imbecile!" Giovanni hissed, Charizard wasn't fast enough to dodge the move causing it to be heavily damaged

"Fire blast!" I shouted "Fly!" Charizard flew up dodging the attack "This isn't over yet! Delphox Flamethrower!" I yelled

The Flamethrower hit Charizard's wing making it unstable to fly.

"No no no no!" Giovanni panicked "Let's finish this! Psychic!"

"NOOOOOOO!" Giovanni yelled in agony

Giovanni fell on the floor while Malamar disappeared "You fool! You don't know what you have done!" He growled "Whatever it is I will fight it! My light is stronger than anything that can destroy it!" I exclaimed

Then the building began to shake "Fool! Malamar must have been planning this! The building will explode and kill everything in it!" Everyone gasped as the building began to shake uncontrollably.

"Serena let's go!" Ash grabbed my hand and we all ran towards the exit of the building.

The ceilings kept on falling and the walls were breaking. I don't know if we can all get out of this.

There we were almost at the exit until me and Ash got stuck by the ceilings falling at us.

We looked from side to side, but there was no exit left until we saw a little hole, but only one person can get out.

I looked at him and smiled "I love you Ashy" I pushed him in the hole and he got out off the building.

"Serena No!" He gasped "I'm sorry" a tear feel down on my cheek "PLEASE I DON'T WANT TO LOOSE YOU AGAIN!" he yelled "I promise...that I will see you again" I sobbed as another ceiling fell "Go" I said

Dawn and the others grabbed him and looked at me with tears in their eyes "I will see you guys again! I promise!"

They all ran away from the building. I close my eyes and a smile plastered on my face

"I'm back Ashy....I'm back"

And everything exploded into a million chunks

I will see you guys again, I promise
