This book has a draco that is very pro life. I've received a ton of backlash for this, some people saying I lost their respect, some messaging me saying they wished I was aborted, some going on rants about rape and condoms and birth control.

Look, I know all of this. I am very pro choice. I believe someone should have the option to get an abortion if needed or wanted. I also think if someone doesn't want an abortion, then that's cool! I think if someone's strictly pro life, that's cool too!! Have fun, just don't be an ass.

But guys, seriously? I have good reasons for making draco pro life. I shouldn't have to share them, but here it goes!

1. IM THE FUCKING AUTHOR OR THE STORY

2. I feel like draco was raised in a pureblood family that is strictly pro life for the sake of bringing new blood into the family and keeping the name going.

3. He's a wizard and probably doesn't even know about abortions, hence him being confused about what it is and asking about it.

4. It's my book???

5. I feel like there should be variety and characters should be able to have their own viewpoints and morals, which make them, Oh idk, human??

6. And Draco wanting to abort a baby? I don't think that's like him. I just don't think it fits.

Guys, I've had draco be a Christian (got backlash for that too) , a pescatarian, I've had him be transgender, bi, gay, whatever. At the end of the day it's my story and I decide what happens with my characters. I don't need asshole people attacking me personally because I made a character pro life and say 'just use a condom!1' (oldest most cliche excuse ever too) I don't like that I get people being dicks to me over one fucking line in the entire 70 chapter book.
