Jimmy laid down on his bed with a satisfied smirk on his face. He slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out the syringe, wincing a little as he pricked his thumb on the needle.

He studied the syringe intently for a few seconds, just marvelling at the fact that he would soon be under the control of the drug that it contained.

Heroin. Possibly Jimmy's favourite drug. It helped numb all his pain and suffering.

His parents hated him, didn't understand him, beat him until he was black and blue... drugs were the only thing that helped him... the only thing that kept him strong... kept him alive... although he didn't know for how much longer that would be true...

He shook that feeling off and carefully studied his arm, trying to find a vein into which he would inject the clear liquid.

His arms were already scarred from all the times he'd shot the death juice into his veins. He didn't care though, as long as it brought him pleasure...

Jimmy smiled triumphantly once he'd found a suitable place to inject the heroin. He closed his eyes as he slowly pushed the needle into his vein...

The euphoric sensation that spread throughout his body was almost too unbearable for him. It was the feeling of his whole body tingling that sent him over the edge...

Until... everything around him went black...
