I'm really mad at a friend, so have a rant//

Schizophrenia isn't something to joke about.

Schizophrenia is a serious issue that causes you to hear voices; often, the voices tell you that they are God and to kill people.

That's not funny.

And neither is depression, drugs, and alcohol. These are serious issues that need to be taken care of.

But back to schizophrenia.

The voices don't let up. They keep telling you things, and telling you things, and telling you things, until you finally can't ignore it and you let in.

I've actually done my research, thank you.

But what's my "friend's" excuse for this?

"People make worse jokes."

Yeah, they do. That doesn't mean when you do it it's okay.

It's like cursing. If someone curses more/says worse curses than you, and then you curse, that doesn't mean it's okay.

I'm just....

I'm just mad people are making fun of stuff like this.
