THREE DAYS LATER

"Why didn't you talk to him about it?".

"He thinks that I f*cked every guy who comes my way, which means he thinks that I'm weak. I wasn't gonna sit and talk things out with him as if nothing was wrong and he did nothing".

"He still loves you".

"I don't know what to think. I'm not even sure what that is. I asked him about the women and his reply was that they're his comfort. Maybe I wouldn't have walked out on him if he gave me a better reply". I crossed my legs.

"He's a man. He's not gonna act completely soft. I can bet he regret saying it".

"I don't think so. The last thing he said doesn't signify regret. Well its been three days since I last saw him. He hadn't called and I haven't seen him".

"Really, so what about the partnership?"

"I don't know".

"Maybe he changed his mind about saying it to the council".

"I hope so. I shouldn't have told him that I loved him. I'm so stupid".

"Don't say that, maybe it'll make things better".

"You know Michael Monique. When he wants something he usually gets it. He's so damn bossy and demanding. I hate it". She chuckle.

"That could be one of the reasons why he loves you so much. Because he can boss everyone around, but not you hon".

"He's not my mother and my father is de-".

"Yes that's correct". I stand from my chair with a frown.

"Monique, I'll talk to you later". I hung up and watched as five, six well dressed men and women walked in. They look to be in their fifties and sixties. Two are women. One after the other they sit. I frown wondering what's going on, until he walked through the door and take a seat. He really went through with it.

"Good evening Ms Shaw". Everyone greeted. My heart started to pound in nervousness, but I won't show it or try my best not to.

"Good evening everyone". I look at Michael who's just sitting there seriously looking at me. He really did this. I just don't believe it.

"We're here to discuss a serious matter with you concerning the policy of this company. Mr Perry contacted us and told us what has been going on and warned you to get rid of the problem, but you didn't. Please explain why". The lady spoke. I can't believe he brought my personal business to the council. I wanna go over there and rip his head off right now!

"I didn't get rid of him because he's hardworking and dedicated to his job. What happened was my fault and it won't happen again. I promise". I try my best not to glare at Michael.

"I'm sorry Ms Shaw, but only two things can be done about this. You can fire him, otherwise, we're gonna have to close your company". A guy from the lot said.

"What? This is my company. Its closed when I want it to".

"Try to remember the contract you sign Ms Shaw". Of course I know that's what it said, but I just had to say that. I can't believe Michael would do this. Where would I find someone as hardworking and honest as Lenoy?

"Rules are rules and every owner of each company must abide by them. I'm sorry but your gonna have to choose. . .and right now". Another guy said.

"Mr Perry gave you two days and a half, but you did nothing. There's no more time to think about it". The other woman said and everyone nod in agreement.

I look at Michael.

"Was it right for him to hack my security system?" I asked getting more angry.

"No unless for personal reasons, but you violated the policy. You have no respect for it". It sounds so much personal to me when I was arguing with him about it in his office.

Its not because of the sex that I don't want to fire him. He's been here with me from the start. Then again, I can't let them close my company. I've worked too hard.

"Where am I gonna find another manager? Plus if I fire him now he'll be unemployed" They looked at each other and I frown.

"Mr Perry will be working with you". What the f*ck! I look at him who's not giving a hint of emotion so I can know what he's thinking.

"No find someone". I'm trying so much not to yell at these people.

"He can work with you until you find someone else, but for now, your partners and there's no problem in that".

"He's already running practically half a dozen companies it'll be too much work". They all looked at him. He looked back at them and sit properly in his seat.

"I can do it. Each of my companies has a manager". But mine shouldn't! I know these people, if I disrespect them they won't forgive me.

"I'm giving him three months to find another job, after that I wont keep him any longer".

"Only if you'll abide by the policy during that time. If not and we found out, we won't ask any questions. We'll close you down immediately". I nod.

"And during that time Mr Perry is allowed here, because he's still your partner". As much as I don't want to. . .I nod.

"Well its finalized then. We'll be on our way". They all stand and started to move towards the exit, including that skunk. I stand.

"Mr Perry can I speak to you for a moment?" He stopped and everyone left. He pushed his hands in his pants pockets and raised an eyebrow.

"Why are you doing this?" I seriously asked wanting to slap him really hard.

"Business and pleasure don't mix. I'm only sorry they agreed to three months. If it was only for me it would've been one day". Selfish bastard.

"Just because I told you that I loved you doesn't give you the right to do this and think that I won't hate you".

"Why are you so upset about it anyways. I'm way more intelligent than him, I'm trustworthy-".

"Don't even start with trust because your a great example of betrayal. Leave".

"Do you even know what I went through for you?" He frown.

"What I went through for you isn't what every man would've done to prove- you know what. . .". He stepped closer.

"What I did, not even your little f*ck boy would've done it".

"Your acting more of a boy to me and he's two years older than you are. What you did today Michael is selfish. You didn't have to go that far".

"What I did today was what's best for the company".

"Its my company. Don't come here and act like you run things".

"Oh yeah? You better start getting use to me, because you'll be seeing my face every. Single. Day". He said through clenched teeth and walked off.

"I hate you!" I yelled before he closed the door.

BANG!

I hit the table breathing heavily. I hate the way he's trying to come into my company trying to be the boss. How dear he told the council about my intimacy. I couldn't even lie because the bastard has proof. I hate every inch of him. Lenoy and I worked really hard for the company to reach this far. How am I gonna say this to him?. . .

I know. I'll just- I'll just tell him the truth.

Ohhh Michael will regret this. He better change his mind because I'm gonna give him hell in this place!
