(Hoodie's P.O.V)

Ever since the day Slender first made Masky and I his proxies we were inseparable. We did almost everything together. We were partners in crime. I wanted to be more but. I was afraid to say anything. Then Toby came along. Toby can get a little annoying but he's caring. He's kind of like a little brother to me. We even hang out when Masky's off on solo missions. Masky doesn't like him too much though. Then again Masky never had a lot of patience with people. I still love him though. Then finally, Kate came along. We were all friends at first, but I watched as Masky and her got closer and closer. Every time they got closer a part of me died. I don't want to ruin Masky's happiness so I leave them alone.

After a while Masky finally asked Kate out. Since then we hardly do anything together and if we do Kate always has to be involved. It hurts when you love someone but they're happier with someone else. Now that we've gotten through what has happened so far lets go to the present.

I woke up this morning feeling pretty depressed as usual and walked into the bathroom to get ready. I changed into a new pair of boxers and slipped on some black skinny jeans before slipping on a My Chemical Romance shirt. I threw my hoodie on and swept my sandy brown hair to the side. I looked at myself in the mirror with my dull green eyes. They used to be brighter before everything started heading south.

I looked longingly at my razor but I stopped myself. I'm not going to do that again. Toby and Sally made me promise them that I would stop. I brush my teeth and step out of the bathroom before looking out the window at the storm clouds gathering. The forecast called for a thunderstorm tonight. Just great. I'm afraid of thunder. Masky knows this and he used to comfort me during them, but he's never there anymore. He always ends up spending the night in Kate's room. Usually we share a room but it seems that he unofficially moved into Kate's. I tugged on my mask before heading out of 'my' room and to the kitchen.

I make myself a bowl of cereal and I sit at the table to eat. I ate a total of three bites before Masky and Kate walk in. They start giggling and flirting with each other. I found myself loosing my appetite and setting the bowl in the sink. "Morning Hoods," Masky said realizing I'm here. "M-morning," I said softly before getting myself a bottle of water out of the fridge.

I'm thinking about moving into Toby's room so I can try and forget about Masky. Today is our day off so I might as well. "Hey Hoods would you like to watch a movie with us?" Masky asked with one of his arms around Kate's waist. "N-no I'm fine," I said not wanting to deal with all of the cuddling they'll probably be doing during it. "Oh come on Hoods we hardly hang out anymore," Masky pleaded. "It's n-not like it's my fault," I mumbled under my breath. "What was that?" Masky asked curiously. "N-nothing. Nothing. Y-you two just g-go have fun," I said before walking back upstairs.

I looked at the rows of rooms on either side and the marker board on the ones being used. Yah we have marker boards on our rooms to put our names on and the chores we take turns doing. I walk to 'my' room and erase the 'and Hoodie' off of the board before walking inside. I grab a cardboard box and load it up with the small amount of things I own before walking to Toby's room and knocking on the door. "T-toby? A-are you in th-there?" I asked. I hear the thumping of Toby's sock covered feet hitting the floor as he runs to open the door. "H-hey Hoodie!" Toby says with a smile on his face, "W-what's with the box?" "Can I m-move in?" I ask hopeful that he'll say yes. "I-I don't know can yah?" Toby joked. I sigh and ask again, "May I m-move in?" "S-sure yah can," Toby said leading me inside, "J-just set your stuff on the other bed." I set my box on the other bed and I start unpacking which only took me a few minutes. "You g-got a marker?" I asked. Toby tosses me an Expo marker and I write 'and Hoodie' on his marker board. "There it's o-official," I said capping the marker and tossing it back to him.

"S-so is the reason you left because of your crush on you know who?" Toby asked concerned. I nod. "I-I knew it! I-I knew that you left because of Voldemort! Th-that no nosed bastard!" Toby said joking around. I giggle a bit. Toby's smile grows, "Y-you laughed! Y-you actually laughed! I-I haven't heard you laugh in a long while. H-hey it's your birthday tomorrow right?" I nod again. Toby continues to smile, "I-I knew it! I-I'm going to make your birthday awesome just you wait and see."

Toby and I played videogames for the rest of the day only stopping for lunch and dinner, which he forced me to eat. I lay in bed while thunder boomed loudly outside. I shivered and tried to block out the noise with my pillow but nothing was working. I started whimpering and shaking harder until Toby turned on his lamp and rubbed his eyes. "Hoodie. Are you alright?" I shake my head shivering in fear. "Are you afraid of thunder?" Toby asked. I nod. "Well you can sleep in my bed for the night if that helps." Toby offered. I started to think about it until a particularly loud boom of thunder. I let out a yelp and dove into Toby's bed. Knowing that someone was there next to me comforted me and I fell asleep as the storm died down.
