Your name is John Egbert and you swear you didn't mean it.

You are currently packing up your things as your boyf- I mean ex-boyfriend 'requested'. Really he hasn't come home yet but you're going to get out before you end up sobbing on the floor.

He's probably going to find out soon and break up with you, but that's saved for future John, not you. You currently have taken all the emergency money Dave and you have saved, he'll probably be confused on that but it's for the best. You cheated on him and you deserve to burn in hell for it.

You get the backpack all your stuff is in and pause in the hallway. You set the backpack onto the floor and bend down to unzip it to take your phone out. You go back to your room and throw it on you- the bed. The room. It isn't yours anymore.

You go back into the hallway to zip up your backpack and put it on. You head out the door and become face to face with Dave. Your eyes widen and you push past him, running. Fuck fuck fuck, that's the only word running through your mind as you run.

After a while of getting far away from the house, you're not sure where you are and it's scary. You see a gas station and walk towards it, opening the door. But then you see someone you don't want to. Jade. You try to go back out but it's too late.

"Hey John!" You gulp and walk towards her.

"Hey Jade!" You and her talk for a while and you start to feel ok after you try to buy some things but Jade says it's on the house. Everything's good, and then Jade's phone goes off.

She turns it on and reads it, her smile disappears and she looks between the phone and you. Panic rises in your chest and you practically know who it is. She looks like she's about to say something but it's futile. You're already gone.

You run and run and stop in an alleyway when you notice it's getting dark. The thought of sleep is overwhelming and you decide to lay down and sleep.
