The next day, Anika woke up with a bright smile. After getting ready for work, she went to Shivaay's room and knock the door. She knocked for sometime, getting no response from Shivaay Anika took out her phone to call him. That's when she noticed few missed calls from her assistant, Sharon. She realized that she's getting late for work and Sharon is waiting down at reception. Anika hurried her phase while typing something in her phone and send it to Shivaay.

After some time, Shivaay woke up with the same smiling face remembering last night moments. He freshened up in a jiffy and marched towards Anika's room. He knocked once, twice, thrice but none open the door. That's when reality strike him. Anika will be at work by this time. He took out his phone to call her and her message came to his sight. It reads,

Good Morning shivaay, sorry i got to go now but i promise I'll be back before 4pm. Take rest till then.

He had already taken enough rest and it's just eight in the morning. He have to spend about eight hours without Anika and neither in a mood to roam around alone. So he decided to meet one of his friend who's staying about three kilometer away from his hotel.

"I'm waiting outside"

"coming in 10"

Sooner the ten minutes turned into thirty then one hour.

"Done, I'm coming in"

As soon as Anika received his message. She packed all her things and dashed out. She knew people she working with know shivaay very well and his presence will only create unwanted drama.

"Hey", Anika greeted Shivaay buckling her seatbelt. She looked so tired, her hair tied up in a high ponytail. Shivaay greeted her back and started to drive. After few minutes Anika's phone started ring flashing Sharon's name. Turning left, Shivaay saw a sleeping Anika. Her phone didn't seem to stop ringing, so he wake her up unwillingly.

Shivaay is again waiting outside of the same event hall. He cursed himself for waking up Anika. Sharon called Anika to inform about the changes in seating arrangement and request for the hard copy of the plan. Since the hard copy was with Anika, having no option Shivaay drive back to the event hall. Exactly after fifty minutes Anika came out looking extremely tired. Her ponytail is now tied up into a messy bun. All the while Shivaay was waiting for her patiently. While Anika walking down the stairs, a man came from behind and pulled her into a back hug. Shivaay saw this and get out from his car angrily, ready to kill the man. He stopped halfway when he saw Anika's expression changed from shocked to smiling one. She turn around and hugged the man smiling widely.

Shivaay asked her while driving.

Shiv : Who's that man?

Ani : Uh?

Shiv : I... me..an the man you hugged just now.

Ani : Owh... He's Sharon my assistant.

Shiv : WHAT? So he's the one who is fetching and dropping you to work from hotel.

Ani : Yeah (replied nonchalantly)

Shiv : I thought Sharon was a girl

Anika giggled much to Shivaay's annoyance. She found him cute with that grumpy face.

Ani : Awww, you're so cute Shivaay.

Shiv : Anikaaaa, but he looked little weird. Which man on earth will wear heel for a suit.

Ani : That's called fashion okay.  You noticed many things haan, not bad Mr Oberoi and yeah that is Sharon, Sharon George. He's not like what you think Shivaay, he's so kind and helps me a lot. And for your kind information, he's already in a happy relationship.

Shiv : Huuuuh, that more than enough. Okay tell me where you want to have dinner?

Ani : How about roaming around this city. I'm not hungry actually.

Shiv : But you look tired. We'll go to hotel first, you take rest for sometime. Hmm?

By the time they reach hotel, Anika was fast asleep head leaning on window. Shivaay had no heart to wake her up. She is looking cute with some baby hairs tingling her forehead. He admired her face for sometime. Her beautiful closed eyes, dainty nose, pouty lips, velvety lashes and slender brows. How much she hate threading her eyebrows last time, he thought. He also noticed that she had her second ear piercing done. It feels so happy to watch her sleeping peacefully. With heavy heart he woke her up but not before taking some pictures. He could carry her to her room but he thought not to make her uncomfortable.

Anika entered Shivaay's room after getting ready for their day out. Shivaay was busy setting his already perfect hair, Anika rolled her eyes to it. This man will never get satisfied when it comes to his hair. Settling on the bed, she watched every move of him. She can't help but drool over him. His charm is only increasing day by day. On their dating period he looked so innocent. He used have a clean shaved face and with some stubble sometimes. But now his innocent face replaced with a strong one. His perfectly trimmed beard with sharp jaws made his look more hot. His face is holding a different charisma which is so irresistible and too hard to take off her eyes from.

Anika was checking him out shamelessly and when her eyes falls on his lips, she saw him smirking.

"Ok this is embarrassing, he caught me checking him out". Anika immediately averted her gaze to other side.

"Done, let's go",  Shivaay said turning towards Anika. Anika saw his nose looked little red. Nearing him, she placed back of her palm on his forehead and neck.

"Shivaay you're having fever", Anika gasped.

"No a little cold that's it. Last night i couldn't sleep so went out for a stroll and eventually caught cold", he replied calmly.

Anika denied to go out since it's started to snowing outside. But Shivaay was equally adamant to go out so, Anika made him to gulped down two pills of aspirin and covered him with a thick layered jacket where Shivaay made an irritated face. They went to a mall and did some shopping. Anika bought some things that Sahil and Rudy requested. While shopping Anika brought Shivaay a beanie and a pair of gloves. She made him wear those things forcefully, she also pulled up the zipper of his jacket to his neck level and made him wear the hood and tightened it around his face. This made Shivaay more annoyed.

Shiv : Omg Ani, please stop. I'm already wearing a beanie, then what's this hood for? Who's on earth will wear like this? People will think me mad.

Ani : Let them, i don't care. See its started to snowing heavily and dare you take off all these.

Shiv : Please okay. It's hardly snowing and you're chocking me with this things.

Anika ignored his blabbers and entered the food court. Shivaay too followed her muttering something. She loves irritating him. Doesn't she?

Shiv : But i can't breathe. It's chocking me.

Ani : Please stop your drama and have this (she gave him his food packet while munching her chicken wrap)

Then,  they roam around the city for some time. People around them passed Shivaay a weird look. Anika didn't let him to touch the zipper. Whenever he tried to pull it down, he'll receive an angry glare in return.

He was done finally. He couldn't accept the weird look that everyone giving him. Of course people will do, wearing hood beneath a beanie follow by an oversized jacket with pair of gloves as if he is going for a ice skating. What can someone expect other than this. He pulled down the zipper only to anika snap his hand.

Shiv : You know what I'm sweating inside (he let out a frustrated sigh and pulled down the zipper completely taking off the hood and beanie)

Indeed he was. The light grey fabric turned into dark grey here and there and his hair looked messy and wet.

Shiv : See.. I told you. I'm already wearing a woolen T-shirt and u forced me to wear that oversized jacket and on top of that these things (Pointing towards beanie and gloves)

Anika gave him a sheepish smile and in return received angry glare from Shivaay.

Ani : You should thank me actually.  See you have no fever now. But you just love scolding me.
Aren't you?

Shiv : But I'm stinking (He pouted)

Anika's gaze falls on a shop.

Ani : See, there's a Louis Vuitton outlet. You love their cologne right. Let's get them you'll smell good.

Shiv : Such a bad idea Ms Trivedi.

Ani : New dress?

Shivaay nodded in No.

Ani : Let's get back to hotel then.

Shiv : I don't want to.

Ani : What's your problem exactly? By the way, you are not stinking okay. You're just overreacting.

Shiv : Like seriously? My shirt had glued to my skin as if I'm coming out from gym after a heavy workout and look at my hair. They look a disaster.

Ani : Not that worse mister .You are smelling good actually.

Shiv : Owh really, then come on.

Shivaay neared anika spreading his both hands wide.

Ani : What?

Shiv : You only said right that I'm smelling good. Come on give me a huggie, baby.

He pulled a wriggling anika into a tight hug. Anika pushed him huffing.

Anika : Ewww, my god you're stinking Shivaay. Stay away.

Shiv : That's what i told you.

Ani : Okay I'm sorry. It's my fault. Now Come let's go back to hotel and have a good shower, okay?

Shiv : Quite a good offer i must say.

Ani : Uh?

Shiv : Shower. I mean... I thought are joining me... right?

A hard punch landed on his stomach making Shivaay to winch in pain.

Ani : Serve you better. And haan better keep all these cheesy lines with you. I won't think twice to send your pictures to rudy saying you're here and not in France.

Shiv : So mean.

Ani : Thank you.

Shivaay started to walk grumpily rubbing his abdominal region. Anika followed him back blushing hard. This man will never miss a chance to tease her.

Anika was fast asleep by the time they reach hotel. She was tired but still managed to hide it and accompanied him to roam around. He knew she did it for him. He caressed her face softly. He felt her body warm and realized she's having fever. Getting out of the car,  be jogged to her side,  then he shaked her lightly in order to wake her up. Anika opened her eyes lazily and saw Shivaay so close to her. She frowned when he said she's having fever. She yawned and looked up to him.

Shiv : Are you okay?

Ani : Are you happy now? It's because of you i got fever.

Shiv : But what i did?

Ani : You hugged me once, remember?

Shivaay rolled his eyes following her while holding the shopping bags. She's too cute to lie. So he decided to play along.

Shiv : if that's the matter, then i don't mind taking back my fever.

Ani : Uh?

Shiv : You can hug me baby. You know... Give and take policy.

Ani : You know what, I'm going to tell Rudy that you are here. Final.

Shiv : Carry on. You will get caught too.

Ani : Why will i? .. if i say you are here to ruin my happiness and stalking me wherever i go. Remember.. no one knew about patch up.

Saying this Anika entered her room taking back her shopping bags from him. She threatened him but still managed to maintain that so call innocent face. Shivaay stood rooted at his place with mouth wide open.

"Since when did she became so evil?".
