Shivaay and Anika become more closer. They behaved as a love struck teenagers, like acting as a stranger around family members, late night talks and talking hiding under duvet. Both equally enjoyed the old but new feelings. 

The most happiest was Shivaay but also no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't come out from his insecurities. "Wait, at first place, is this really insecurity or he's jealous seeing Sanjay around? ", answer to the question, he don't know.

Since they didn't meet for few days, Shivaay badly wanted to meet Anika. Gaining his strength, Shivaay call out Anika for dinner for the second time.  This time he only wanted one answer, that is only a 'yes'. To his luck Anika instantly agreed. Shivaay wanted to make this dinner a memorable one, their first ever dinner date after their separation. So he reserved a table in a café which they used go often while dating. They both took seat in the same corner table which they used to seat every time.

Shiv : You like it?

Ani : A lot,.. thank you so much.

Shiv : i stop coming here after our break up.

Ani : owh, i came once, before i shift to Delhi.

They kept on talking on random topics. Soon, an old lady came to take their order. The lady sharp enough to recognise Shivaay and Anika. The lady got so excited and expressed her happiness for meeting them after so long. To make it more awkward, the lady blessed the 'couple' with all the happiness, unknown to her that they are no more the same couple as she think.

Both of them had their dinner happily cherishing their good old days. While reaching parking area, much to Shivaay's surprise, Anika hugged him mouthing a thank you. Shivaay stood still not knowing how to react. It is their first hug after their break up. Soon he composed and closed his eyes to capture the moment forever in his heart. He felt bliss to be in her arms after so long. He could feel the same lavender fragrance, her soft skin and silky hair, the only difference was she looked little skinny now. Other than that, she is still the same Anika. When Shivaay realized her hold loosened to break the hug, he immediately hugged her back. His hold was little tighter to feel her more closer to him. Anika didn't protest, she understood his inner turmoil and this assurance is much needed for him to get over from those negative thoughts, So she let him to do.

The latter,  Shivaay back home grinning ear to ear like an idiot much to his family's confused look. Later they shrugged if off thinking he had gone crazy except two individuals, Omkara and Rudra. Shivaay's antic made both of them more curious.

Shivaay felt some kind of peace which he couldn't able to describe. The felt so light. Their days start and end with sweet texts. Shivaay felt Anika so close to him yet so far. He could feel that Anika is now very comfortable around him. There is not even an ounce of discomfort in her action. But he don't know what is stopping him from approaching her again. There is still some void between them which stop both of them from moving further in their relationship. "And about his so call insecurities?,...  aahh hell with it", he questioned and answered himself.

Shivaay planned to propose Anika again but nervous as well. Is he too fast to do so? What if she reject? What if she wanted to continue their relationship as friends forever? He already done with the friend zone tag. At the same time, he also don't want to lose the good bonding which they are sharing now. His one action can destroy all his hard work that he pulled out till date. The worst part is, he can't seek anyone's help too because for others, Shivaay and Anika are still strangers.

Oberois keenly watched Shivaay's changes. Everyone got so happy watching his smiling face. They pray to keep him happy always. Whenever they think about Shivaay, one certain individual will strike their mind automatically. Obviously it will be Anika. How beautiful his life will be if Anika stay along with him is all they can dream of. Unfortunately it didn't last long, their dream bubble got burst by Radha's sudden statement.

Gowry : Maa, how can you be so sure, it can be Chandna didi too?

Radha : Because when i talk to Chandna she told me that she didn't talk with Anika for few days.

Rudy : Then, who it could be?

Radha : I don't know but I'm sure it's a guy. His voice is so clear, when she saw me she hurriedly cut the call and hide her phone.

Prinku : But we can't use only that to conclude she's in relationship. They can be friends too.

Radha : if they are friends then why she have to talk hiding under duvet. Moreover her phone is now secured with password. She never did that before. I'm sure there is something going that we are unaware of.

Om : So you're saying that Anika is in relationship..

Radha : I think so

Om : But aunty, we can't do anything. It's her life, her choice. Let her be.

Pinky : Arree Om, what are you saying? Then what will happen to my son. He'll be broken.

Shakti : No Pinky, Om is correct. It's her life. We can't force her to love Shivaay. It will be better if we didn't interfere in her life.

Tej : I agree with Shakti too. It's her decision and she can love anyone. Our son got a chance but he lost it. We helped him too but nothing worked out. Now we can't do anything.

Pinky : But i talked with Anika that day, she looked convinced. I thought she'll forgive Shivaay.

Om : Choti maa, i think you misunderstood between forgiveness and returning back to Shivaay. Maybe she's ready to forgive him but not ready to return  back to his life. It's so obvious from her attitude. Didn't you guys notice how she's trying to avoid Shivaay whenever he's around.

Shakti : Yeah. And about Shivaay, he's changing for good now. I hope soon he too will move on forgetting everything. You don't worry Pinky, everything will get fine soon (he assured her patting her shoulder).

Pinky wiped off her tears before they roll down her cheeks. Just a mere thought, that too to a unofficial news, where her son lost his love broke her. She is still angry on him, but she can't refuse the truth of she being his mother. And for mothers their children's happiness comes first before anything else. She also know that her son is madly in love with Anika and he will not able to accept the fact that Anika is in relationship with someone else. He'll be broken beyond repair and he will never move on as her husband said.

Moreover she started to love Anika dearly. They bonded so well that Pinky already  fixed Anika as her daughter in law. Now thinking of the news that Anika, the girl whom she only knew for few months, can't be her daughter in law, is giving her  unbearable pain. She can't even imagine what will happen to her son if the news turn out to be true.

Just then Jhanvi and dadi joined them after returning from temple. Rudy again narrated everything to both of them and they too felt sad. Watching Pinky's sad face Rudy decided to light up her mood by his jokes and somehow successfully diverted her mind. And the family's discussion went on not knowing about the facade playing by the kids they worrying the most.
