Two friends are talking.
One tired, but still awake.
The other drunk.
The drunk one texts her friend.
She asks if the tired one is still awake.
The other responds with a yes.
The two talk, the drunk one more so than the other.
Then they get all emotional,
Neither really notice at all.
They tell each other every thing in their hearts.
The drunk one makes the other promise not to leave her.
The other complies, smiling at her phone.
The two may never realize what they mean to each other.
