The thing that bothers me in Seventeen Reprise is the lyric,  "Of someone doesn't love me now one day someone will." I find it fine other than Veronica saying JD didn't love her. I think of it like this, sure he was insane,  but he did it for her. She told him to make Westerburg disappear. Granted they were having sex at the time. She still asked him to make the town disappear, I know she meant disappear from her mind. Now when she "committed" suicide,  he broke down. She let him blow himself up,  although they both would be dead,  she could have slapped him and taken the vest off.  She could have helped him get mental help, they could have had a happy life. But instead she just told him to say hi to God, yes I know it signifies she believes through all he's done he will still go to heaven.
