"Edric, what's wrong?" ask Eclipsa
"The Spiderbite Kingdom declare a war to the Butterfly Kingdom"
"WHAT?! Why? D... Did we do something wrong? I don't think so"
"I don't know about that either. But we have to prepare"
"I understand"

"Queen Eclipsa, King Edric!"
"What is it Stevan?"
"The Kingdom is being attack by the Spiderbite Kingdom"
"WHAT?!"
"Round up all the guards in front of the Butterfly Castle. We have to attack back for the kingdom" order Edric
"Yes your majesty"

"Keep Luna in the mewberty room"
"Of course. I'll go get my wand"
"You have to stay there too"
"WHAT?! You can't fight them alone"
"I must keep you and Luna safe. I can't lose you or Luna. Please take care of her, if-"
"Don't ever said that"
"This is for your own safety Eclipsa" Edric said holding Eclipsa's cheek
"Alright. Stay safe OK. Luna cannot lose her father, not when she was just 8 years old"
"I won't, that's a promise"
"King Edric, the guards already in front of the Butterfly Castle. We must go now"
"Go, take Luna with you" Edric said while Eclipsa go to Luna's room

"Luna, dear"
"Mommy, what's wrong?" Said Luna who's just playing her dolls
"Follow me OK"
"Where?"
"Just follow me"

Eclipsa brought Luna 6 feet down the castle. When they arrived, the Queen open the door with a spell that only queen of Mewni knew. Eclipsa step inside, it was still clean, since it's been so long since she had mewberty, and Luna was still 8

"Mommy will come back ok, stay here for a while"
"But mommy, I'm scared"
"No need to be scared. This may looked scary, but it was actually beautiful"

Eclipsa clapped her hands and the room was fulled with lights

"Wow" said Luna as she looked the room
"See, this is very safe. I'm gonna go for a while. I'll come back. I promise. Stay here ok"
"Ok mommy"

"Quick this way" Hekapoo said leading the citizens of the Butterfly Kingdom to the castle
"Hekapoo"
"Queen Eclipsa? What are you doing here?"
"I must help Edric. Where is he?"
"He was right there"
"Thanks. Gather all people to the Mewberty room. Order Omnitraxus to take care Luna for a while. I'll be right back"
"Of course my queen" Hekapoo said running towards the castle

Edric raise his sword to King Spiderbite, but he was able to prevent his attack, King Spiderbite attack Edric with his sword and almost hit Edric's heart. The kingdom is full with fire because of the war. Soldiers of the Spiderbite kingdom help their king and one of them almost killed Edric

"Violet mist!"

A violet mist covered them all when Edric was pulled by someone

"Eclipsa?! What are you doing here?!"
"Save your life"
"What about Luna?!"
"She's fine. Behind you.... Bramble Vine Entanglement!"

A black vine with spike bind the guard and he's dead

"I told you that I should've go"
"Looks like I was wrong all along am I?" Edric said with a smile
"No you didn't. Now let's finish this war"

They fought and fought. But no matter what, The Spiderbite Army keep coming. They attack the Butterfly Guards easily

"Edric behind you-"
"What?"

A sword hit Edric as he fell to the ground, full with blood. Eclipsa wanted to use her spell but her hand is being held by the Spiderbite Guards

"Edric..... No.... No.... No, please. You still with me ri.... Right.... Edric, wake up! PLEASE WAKE UP! NO!"

They Guards get closer to Eclipsa, since she's the one they wanted but Eclipsa use her wand to make shield that lend out thunder if you get close

"Spiderbites! Reatret!" Order King Spiderbite and the guards obey

"Queen Eclipsa? Where's King Edric?"

Seeing Eclipsa in tears makes The MHC understand what happen. King Edric Flowers Butterfly has been killed in a war against the Spiderbite kingdom

The Next Day, Luna hold her black dress tightly, tried not to cry in front of everyone. She already look for her mother in the middle of everyone in the throne room, but she wasn't here. The death of King Edric will be remembered by everyone since he's the best king Mewni ever had

Luna felt a hand on her shoulder, and she turn around to looked at Hekapoo, the Scissors Keeper, wearing the same look Luna had

"Sorry for your lost" Hekapoo said then walked to the other member of the MHC

Luna was a little bit angry at her mother. Her mother should be here. But she knew her mother need some time alone, her mother and father were so close. They loved Luna so much. Luna understand what her mother must feel in time like this. But it was already 2 hours since her royal highness, Queen Eclipsa Butterfly, didn't showed up. Luna walked toward her mother's room only to looked at her, sitting in her bed, with black dress and big black hat not wearing her crown like usual, Her hair is a mess

Luna got very surprised when she looked closer to her mother. Eclipsa is holding a knife full with golden blood of the Butterfly family with scars on her face and hands, but her mother didn't recognized that Luna was there. Luna quickly but quiet, call the MHC to her mother's room. They quickly go to her room, only to see Eclipsa is aiming the knife to her heart. The MHC quickly grab her hand and throw the knife

"Eclipsa! Are you crazy?! Luna still need you and you committed a suicide! Do you think she's old enough to rule Mewni?!"
"RELEASE ME NOW!!"
"No. What are you thinking?! We all know that you miss Edric but this is not the way for you to meet him"
"RELEASE ME NOW!!"
"Just calm down Eclipsa" said Hekapoo but Eclipsa keep resist and finally manage to get out from the High Comission's grasp but Rhombulous immediately shot a sleeping potion and she fall asleep

"Princess Luna, what do we have to do about your mother?"
"J... Just... Umm" Luna signed and answer "Release her please"
"WHAT?! Are you-"
"Release her. Make sure she didn't have any sharp objects in her room. I'll call Lady Cross here to make sure why she's doing this"
"Of course"

"Queen Eclipsa had.......... A light psychiatric problem due to the lost of the king"
"WHAT?! Since when?"
"Well, just 13 hours ago. But as time flew by, there's a chance she'll recover soon"
"Thank you Lady Cross"
"It's my job. And will you excuse me, I'm gonna go. And keep an eye on her. Don't let any sharp objects in her room"
"We understand"

"Mom? Why are you like this?"

Omnitraxus already give her a sleeping spell to calm her down for a while. Luna get out from her mother's room and was going towards her bedroom, but she was stopped by the MHC

"Princess, we know that this wasn't the right time to discuss this since you just lost your father and now your mom is in a psychiatric problem.... And no one is guarding Mewni, so we was hoping if you..."
"I understand. I shall take the responsibility if something happen with my mom"
"Thank you Princess Luna"
"I shall be on my way then"

"No, stop, please"

The whispering she heard is what makes her be like this. Every night, always the sound of screaming and whispering came to her room. That morning, she was half possessed, the ghost won't leave her alone. She don't know where they come from but her psychiatric problem is very high right now. She was possessed. She walks out from her room to the nearest window. Luna, who knew this, follow where her mom is going, and she was so surprised to know that her mom gonna jump from the window

"Mom! What are you doing?!"

Luna quickly grab her mom from the window. Eclipsa already half falling from the castle when Luna quickly grab her right hand

"Hekapoo! Come here right NOW!"

The MHC, who heard Luna screaming, quickly get out from their room and help Luna grab Eclipsa back to her room, since she was unconscious

"From this day, someone must stay in my mother's room to keep her from doing anything crazy, understand?"
"Y... Yes Princess"
"Great, Hekapoo, I chose you to guard my mother for tonight"
"Of course"
