Chapter 3; Lazarus

It's been like 20 days, BUT I HAVE UPDATED!

Favorite song today was Lazarus by Porcupine Tree. Does anyone know these songs?

Now I present to you, chapter 3:

Bakugou continued to sob uncontrollably into Kirishima's chest for a while after. Around thirty minutes of the best boi comforting his hurting friend had passed. Bakugou's tears had slowed down and the red and spiky haired friend decided that he should go. Plus Bakugou might want some alone time. He had thought. Once he gathered the courage he asked, "Are you feeling any better?" He waited for a response and got one in the form of a small nod. "Do you want me to go?"

"Sure." Bakugou said. He then proceeded to sit up and shift around to find a comfortable position. He crossed his legs and embraced the tear stained pillow into a tight hug.

With his friends permission Kirishima stood up. "Okay." He said slowly.

Bakugou sniffled. "Oh and shitty hair?"

Kirishima turned around partly annoyed with his friends name calling, especially since he had just been comforting him for over thirty minutes. "Yes?"

"Thank you." Bakugou said sincerely.

Kirishima's eyes softened seeing his friend so hurt, and actually showing gratitude. "No problem." Kirishima answered gently.

Kirishima turned around once again, but was once again stopped. This time Bakugou grabbed his wrist. "Wait! Don't tell them why I was crying. Please."

"Okay." Kirishima forced a bright smile. He didn't think this was right, they needed to know. Midoriya was their friend, too. But Kirishima knew his friend's ego was too big for his own good. He would never allow Kirishima to tell the rest of the class about how he cried over his 'enemy'. "What should I tell them? There going to have lots of questions." Kirishima reluctantly asked.

"I don't care. Just not the truth." Bakugou replied.

"Okay." Kirishima reassured him and then continued to leave. Bakugou was still teary eyed when he left and now he didn't want to face his classmates. He didn't like lying and didn't think he was very good at it either. He considered heading towards his dorm room but he didn't think that was a very manly move, so the red haired teenager walked in the direction of the couches.

A few minutes later he arrived at the crowd. They were sitting around in a sort of half circle talking quietly when they noticed Kirishima walking towards them.

"What happened!?" Mina asked quickly, a mix of excitement and worry evident in her voice.

"I'm not sure, he wouldn't tell me what was wrong. I think he feels better now though." Kirishima tried his best to make the lie come out smoothly.

"Well then, what took you so long?" Kaminari spoke up.

Everyone eyed him suspiciously waiting for him to elaborate on the time they had spent together. "I was just hugging him, he didn't even talk." Kirishima said quickly, and not so smoothly, making a few peoples raise an eyebrow. "I swear it's the truth."

"Okay..." Mina was obviously disappointed by the lack of gossip. And everyone else seemed to buy his lie as they didn't question him further.

Kirishima looked around at the group. A few seemed a little disappointed but everyone mainly looked worried. Then there was Uraraka who looked pissed. She stayed quiet but Kirishima got a bad feeling and looked away.

Another thirty-ish minutes passed and Bakugou was still in his room. Kirishima was now lively talking to everyone but Uraraka was ignoring them all. She was lost in thought thinking about what Bakugou could be upset about and what Kirishima knew. Suddenly her phone started to ring and she snapped back into reality. She took her phone out, noticing that everyone had gone silent, and were impatiently waiting for her to answer.

"It's from the hospital." She explained worry lacing her normally light hearted and sweet voice. Wanting to keep updated on Deku's condition she had given her phone number to the hospital asking them to call her if anything happened to her friend. Good or bad. She answered now even more worried for her friends condition. She turned her phone on speaker. "Hello?"

"Hi, this is Ochako Uraraka?" A sweet sounding lady answered.

"Yes." She confirmed.

"Great. We're calling to inform you that your friend Izuku Midoriya's conditon seems to be getting worse. I don't know much about the situation so if you would like to know more I would suggest that you come down to the hospital."

"...o-okay." Uraraka was shocked and barely managed to get out the one word. She hung up immediately after. Everyone was speechless. Then Mina spoke up.

"I'm going!" She declared. "Anyone else?"

Silence, then Kaminari, Todoroki, and Tsuyu stood up. Kaminari spoke for the group, "I'll go!" And the other two nodded along. The simple action set off a chain react as everyone else stood up and nodded, a few of the more verbal students said they would go. The only two left sitting were Uraraka and Kirishima. Studying her fellow classmate's reaction she noticed he didn't seem as surprised by this news. Soon Uraraka put two and two together and she decided she needed to talk to Bakugou.

Finally Kirishima stood up. "I'm going, too." Everyone turned to Uraraka, waiting for her to announce her decision.

"You coming?" Mina decided to ask.

"No, I have some thing I need to do first. Maybe I'll swing by later." She sounded angry and everyone was a bit frightened to see this sweet girl acting so pissed off. But they nodded and left, heading straight out the door.

Uraraka slowly made her way upstairs to Bakugou's room and knocked. Nothing. She knocked again. Again nothing. "I'm coming in!" She yelled. She didn't care if he was sleeping or ignoring her, she needed to know what was going on with him. She opened the door slowly and saw him lying in his bed on his back. His arm was draped over his eyes and she could see small tears running down the side of his cheeks. He ignored her, but when she went over and sat on a chair he realized she wasn't going to simply go away.

"What do you want round face?" He grumbled.

"You know, I just got a call from the hospital. Deku's condition is getting worse. Everyone left to go visit him. You knew that didn't you?" He didn't move at first then nodded slowly. "That's why you came back here crying." He nodded again. Tears growing heavier. "Why didn't you say anything? Why did you make Kirishima keep this a secrect?!" She could feel tears fighting to be released but she didn't care. She stared intensely at Bakugou, waiting for a response.

"Does it fucking matter? You know now, don't you!?" Bakugou spat out. Bakugou sat up straight and stared right into her crying eyes and she did the same.

"Yes." She stood straight up and slapped him hard against the cheek. He was shocked, but he looked back into her eyes and held his now red skin. She ignored the slight stinging of her hand and continued to scold him. "Of course it matters! You know you aren't the only one who is having a hard time with this! You aren't this only one who cares! You should have just swallowed your damn pride for one second and told us what happened! You selfish bastard! You care for him get over it! You are sad to see him in coma and don't want him to die! Does it matter?" She had to pause for a second and calm herself down. "I know you are trying to hide the fact that you don't hate him, maybe even from yourself but that doesn't give you a reason to keep this to yourself! This is a big deal and you were gonna hide it!" She sounded so disappointed in him. She looked down. "Your not the only one who cares for him, neither am I. We all care so much!" She said quietly.

Bakugou didn't know what to say. He stayed completely quietly. What a strange day it had been. After he didn't say anything Uraraka slumped back into the chair by his desk, and decided to continue. "Are you embarrased that you care?" She asked concerned. Bakugou didn't even budge. "I've been wondering for some time now. Do you have a crush on him?" Bakugou snapped back into attention.

"What the fuck?! No!" He shouted frantically. But the truth was that ever since he had his little talk with Kirishima he was wondering the same thing.

"Ok..." she trailed off thinking about something. She didn't know if she should tell him or not.... but she had to. "I shouldn't be telling you this like at all, it's not for me to tell. Bakugou, Deku really does appreciate you. You know he likes you a lot. As in more than a friend. He told me. Now that he may never get to tell you I feel it's important that you know." And with that she stood up and slipped out of the room.

Wait? What? Deku liked, no likes me? Why? I was always so mean to him. These thoughts swirled in Bakugou's head. He was so confused. Why was this happening? He cried harder. He had to lay back down on his bed. He felt dizzy and sick. This was too much for him to handle. He got up quickly and ran to the small bathroom that occupied a small amount of the dorm room. He leaned over the toilet expecting to throw up but instead he coughed up small green flowers.

What the fuck? Bakugou knew what this was. It was on the tip of his tongue. Hanahaki! That's what it's called. He started shaking, freaking out about the disease he had no choice but to diagnose himself with. But that would mean... I do like Deku.

Everyone know what Hanahaki is? If you don't:
