Itachi groan's and opens his eyes, seeing he's in his bedroom. " Your awake " itachi turns to his side and sees shisui there, he was confused on what happened but then Remembers.

" What happened? " He said sitting up and looks at him. " Well when backup came, he knocked you out and said " until next time ". Then his hand went to his face and moved down, and he suddenly just disappeared " shisui said looking at him.

" How did I get here? " Itachi asked looking at him, " after everything me and kakashi told your dad everything he told you. I brought you to your room, and haven't left " he said calmly.

" How long was I out? " Itachi asked looking around his room. " Two hours " shisui said, he placed a hand on his head, and itachi looks at him.

" How are you feeling? " Shisui said voice full of concern. " I'm fine, how are you and kakashi? " Itachi said looking up at him. " We're fine just a couple scratches " he said, as his fingers ran through his hair.

" What's going to happen now? " Itachi asked as he looks away. " Me and kakashi are going have to step up our game. The security of the village is going to get knocked up a notch, and we got to keep you and Lord fourth safe " shisui said still looking at him.

" He's coming back, this isn't going to be the last time we hear or see him " itachi said looking down at his lap. " Yeah, but next time we'll catch him for sure " shisui said.

" What if he brings backup, there only coming for me. I'm the cause of this " itachi said as he clenches the bedsheets with his hands. " Hey don't say that " shisui said as he lift up his chin.

" But it is, it's all my fault. And there not leaving until they get what they want. Me or this half of the tail beast " itachi said trying to keep calm, and not break down. " Itachi you need to calm down, just calm down " shisui said pulling him to his chest.

He hugs shisui his breaths getting faster the more he thinks, he feels his heart pounding and tears blurring his vision. " Itachi calm down just listen to my voice and nothing else. I need you to breath in and out slowly " shisui said as he rubs comforting circles on his back.

Itachi slowly began to take deep breaths, and was slowly Calming down. " Just listen to my calm voice, everything going to be okay. We're going to protect you, no matter what " shisui spoke in a slow calming voice.

Slowly itachi was calming down, and just stays there in shisui's arms calm. Shisui hugs the younger, he kisses the top of his head.

Two days went by, everyone was on top making sure no one came in or out of the village without being seen. Itachi was always seen with kakashi and shisui, or at least with one of them.

Kakashi was really annoyed because he had to be around shisui, who's always giving itachi goggly eyes and was so in love. Itachi not once noticed, it was annoying.

Currently the three had went out to eat, shisui being all lovey dovey around itachi, itachi not once realizing it. " I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be right back " itachi said and walks towards the bathroom.

Shisui simply looks at his disappearing figure with such a loving look. " He doesn't like you, give it up already " kakashi said, shisui looks at him.

" Why are you so against love, it's such a beautiful thing that makes you feel so good " shisui said happily. " I just hate it, and seeing you being so in love with itachi is so ugh " kakashi said in a annoying tone.

" Well sorry Cupid, but I can't help it. I love him, I'll protect him with my life if I have to. I love itachi, and I'll never stop " shisui said smiling brightly. Kakashi just makes a ' tsk ' sound and continues reading his book.

Soon they finish eating and walk around the village, " hey I'm going to go buy some kunai knives real quick I won't be long " shisui said.

" Go " kakashi spoke back, shisui nods and heads into the store. It was a slow day no one really around, the sun was getting ready to set. It was just itachi and kakashi, just waiting for shisui.

" Hey itachi " kakashi spoke putting away his book, " yes kakashi? " Itachi spoke. " You like anyone? " He asked, " huh?!, I mean why so interested? " Itachi said blushing a bit.

" Just curious " kakashi spoke, he looks behind him and sees shisui walking out the store. " Well I mean, I am growing to like someone " he said looking away blushing still.

He saw it caught shisui attention, kakashi continued on. " So who is the lucky person? " Kakashi spoke, seeing shisui basically trying not to be supisious behind him. " Well you know him very well, and you could find him a bit annoying at times " itachi said.

" Wait?, You like shisui? " He spoke, he sees shisui face go red. " Well yeah, I mean we're childhood best friends. It's logical, besides it's just a crush I can't be certain yet " itachi spoke his blush getting deeper.

Shisui in the background was jumping from joy, " you can't tell him kakashi please, you have to promise " itachi spoke. " I won't I hate love and gossip as it is " he spoke looking away.

" Thank you kakashi " itachi spoke happy his secret kept, at least that's what he thinks.

Soon five days passed and it's been a week since he saw the mask man, as soon as itachi woke up that morning. He felt something was wrong, like when he first met the mask man.

He knew something was going to happen that day, and it wasn't anything good.
