The Kim family was having dinner in their backyard. So, there was a decent-sized garden at the back of their house and then there was a gate. Their house had two gates. The smaller one was to the front of the house and the larger one was in the backyard.

A six-person table was positioned in the center of their garden, and a door led to the kitchen. Their decent-sized home had three rooms, a kitchen, and a living area. At the top, there was a small terrace as well.

After almost two days, everyone was delighted to see Bora join them for dinner. Instead of asking her the questions that would trigger her, they just casually chatted about their days.

Aera discussed her hectic job. Everyone questioned Bora's absence, but she talk about that. Contrarily, Bora's parents were discussing how busy they were at the café given that it was Monday and the weekend had just passed. They take a break on Fridays.

When Yoongi came with Bora three days back, it was their break and that was the reason why everyone was at home. To spend time with their family and recharge for the weekend rush, they close their café for the day.

Bora smiled while watching her family eating and occasionally conversing. She suddenly began to hate herself for behaving like a brat all the time. Her family was literally the sweetest. They always supported all her decisions, no matter what. But here, Bora was constantly preoccupied with her worries.

While she was in her trance, something suddenly caught her eye. Or more like someone. When Bora turned her focus to the gate, she saw a person peering inside while wearing a navy blue hoodie.

Bora knew the figure and the hoodie really well. It was the same hoodie her family had gifted him on his twenty-fourth birthday.

Taehyung observed his sister's focus shifting as he sat across from Bora. As soon as he turned, his eyes widened at the familiar face. He got to his feet and started marching towards the gate as rage overtook him. Jimin tried to flee when he noticed Taehyung unlocked the gate. However, he was too drunk to walk straight, let alone run.

"You f*cking b*stard. How dare you come here with this disgusting face of yours." Taehyung was practically shouting by now. He ran, grabbing Jimin's hooded cap, and when the man turned, he punched him in the face.

The impact was so loud that Taehyung's family rushed outside. They observed Taehyung hunching over as he tightly fisted Jimin's cap before punching him in the jaw.

The bleeding man spewed blood but did not glance up. How could he even raise his gaze when the family showered him with love all those years but were betrayed by him? It seemed as if he had come to get beaten because, deep down, he knew he deserved it. He was consumed with guilt.

If he was in his right mind, he knew he wouldn't be able to face them. He, therefore, drank before arriving here. But he consumed more alcohol than he should have. 

"You j*rk. Don't you have the self-respect to come here and stand in front of our house? You don't deserve to breathe the air surrounding us, you sc**ndrel."

And then Taehyung threw another punch to his stomach. Taehyung seemed to be using him as a punching bag to vent his anger.

Bora's eyes watered at the most hurtful sight. The two men who once loved each other were now behaving like dogs. One was punching harshly while the other gladly took those punches. Only if Jimin didn't leave here, the situation wouldn't have ended up like this.

"Tae bear, let go of him." The boy was now curled up in a ball as the pain began shooting up, and his father quickly intervened, hoping to save the unfortunate boy. He was wincing like a lost puppy, that was kicked out by the only owner he adored. 

"Appa, really? Are you siding with this person now? Don't you remember what he did with Bora?" Taehyung eyes were red and his nose flared with anger. He couldn't believe his eyes when his father made Jimin stand up on his feet.

"Dear, this guy doesn't even deserve any reaction from us. Let him go before someone complains about you to the police. You are more precious to us." Kwang-gyu let out politely as he made Jimin stand in place by supporting him. 

"Jagiya, bring him a glass of water. And Aera, take Bora with you inside." Everyone did as the head of the family suggested. Taehyung was highly pissed at this point. Not wanting to see his father acting like an angel as usual, he swiftly fled from the scene.

Taehyung didn't even realize why but he ended up calling Yoongi. He couldn't think of anyone else other than him because Yoongi was aware of the whole situation they had faced and were facing. Taehyung didn't need to hide anything from Yoongi.

Yoongi hurriedly forced Taehyung to sit in his car and drove them to his house after noticing blood on his knuckles. And in no time, the two men were sitting in Yoongi's backyard.

Once Yoongi treated the agitated male, he allowed him to calm down first before he could ask him about anything.

"Can I have soju too?" Taehyung inquired gently when he noticed the open bottle of soju on the table.

"I'll get another bottle. Though I only drank one shot, the bottle was left open for a long time. Wait for me, I'll go and get it." Yoongi rushed inside.

Soon, they filled their glasses with soju and Yoongi couldn't prevent from asking, "Would you like to talk?"

It seemed like Taehyung was waiting for the other to ask him. Because as soon as he did, Taehyung began ranting. "He came back. Can you believe it? The guy who hurt us all was standing in front of our gate earlier, watching us eat dinner. I'm so worried. Bora stepped out of her room after almost three days. And that guy had to spoil everything." Taehyung took a brief pause and gulped soju from his glass.

Yoongi understood Taehyung was struggling emotionally. He brought his chair next to him and held his hand. He noticed Taehyung relaxing as he placed his head on Yoongi's shoulder.

Taehyung took deep breaths, trying to control his tears. But he let them flow after much struggle. A lone tear dropped on Yoongi's white t-shirt which made him shiver a little but he didn't flinch. He didn't want to scare the vulnerable male.

"I genuinely loved him. I treated him as my younger brother. We always made fun of Bora and annoyed her all the time. It was as if our family was finally complete. I would have believed him if he had reasoned why he couldn't marry my sister. I would have forgiven him and would have gone against my family to support him. But he chose to betray us. He betrayed all of us. And I hate that Park f*cking Jimin and his existence now. He doesn't deserve happiness; he doesn't deserve the love and trust of any other girl or her family. Because I know, whatever he did with Bora would be repeated. He isn't trustworthy at all. And I hate him."

Yoongi's heart dropped in his stomach. He couldn't believe his ears after hearing the name. So it was indeed the same Jimin. And now he was skeptical too. If Jimin could do something like this with Bora and her family, he could surely repeat it with his family too.

Earlier, he had decided to go and meet Hoseok the next morning. Seemed like he wouldn't need to do that anymore. However, he could confirm through a message after Taehyung slept. He had no intention of letting Taehyung go after looking at his emotional condition.

Yoongi was aware of the fact that Taehyung loved his sister a lot and he could do anything for her. If she would see tears in Taehyung's eyes, it would make her feel guilty. Taehyung had been Bora's strength. He couldn't let the girl see his vulnerable side when the reason was her.

Yoongi no longer knew if Bora would accept his feelings or not. But that won't mean he would not think about her betterment anymore.

Later that night, Taehyung slept next to Yoongi on his bed after much struggle. We can say he had mood swings. Because one moment he would cry while the other moment he would be depressed, ranting about how he accepted Jimin wholeheartedly and what he did with his ex-brother-in-law to let him feel welcomed in their hearts and lives.

Yoongi sighed before opening the messaging app and began typing the message, not beating around the bush.

Yoongi:

Hobi, I need to ask you something.

Hoseok:

Please say. How can I help you?

Yoongi:

Was Jimin the guy who was dating Bora during your university years because of whom you couldn't confess to her?

Yoongi:

Before you lie, let me tell you this. Taehyung (Bora's brother) has already revealed everything.

Hoseok:

Yes

Hoseok:

Sadly now it's you|

And that was how Hoseok couldn't send what he wanted to. He typed it but couldn't send it. He was a coward to do that. So instead, he sent an emoticon to cover his status that showed typing to Yoongi.
