Seventeen: Somewhere

Elsa

I woke up in a dark room. There was no sight of light or figments, whatsoever in the room. I wiggled my hands, to discover that I was tied up to a nearby... what it felt like to be a pole.

"She's awake.", I heard someone mutter. Soon enough, a creaking sound of a door opening came into my senses.

I squinted my eyes from the blinding light. I yelled, "Why did you bring me here?"

"Shut up, Elsa.", a husky voice said. I knew who that was.

"Hans.", I whispered, frowning at the bitter taste of his name.

"Hello, Elsa.", he said, bringing my face closer to him. I looked away.

"You're supposed to be in jail.", I hissed.

He clicked his tongue and made his way around me, "Well if you have a bunch of connections and a rich family, you can do almost anything."

"B-but you... you worked-"

"That was part of the plan, Elsa. Can you catch up with the topic faster?", he said.

The strong pain and anger rushed through my veins again. 

"Jack will come after me. I just know it!", I shouted at the top of my lungs.

He gave me this... look. "Please, Elsa. He's just another one of those boys who are like me." 

"You can never be like Jack.", I said. 

"But Jack can be like me.", he retorted.

He's just toying with your feelings, Elsa.
But what if...

"Think about it Elsa.", his voice echoed into my head. "How come Jack just suddenly realized that he loved you just a few days ago?"

I looked down. I admit it, I was puzzled about that. But I trust Jack.

I've known him for so long, and this wasn't what he would do. I know that he loves me.

"Stop toying with my feelings. Jack isn't like that.", I said as cold air started to form inside the room.

Hans noticed the slowly-forming blizzard in the room. He smirked and taunted me more, "And you thought I was the nicest guy on the planet, but guess what? You were so wrong." 

The room started getting colder and colder. Snow particles were circling the pole, which was in the middle of the room. Hans felt the wind across his face, and it kept him empowered to continue telling me lies about Jack.

"Face it Elsa, no one will accept you for who you are. You'll always be used.", he said. 

"Enough!", I yelled as a straight line of ice crystals formed before Hans. It closely reached him, but never enough. I let out a cry of frustration and hopelessness. 

Hans exited the room, and left me alone to rot in my dark, frigid cell.

Jack

"We have to go after Elsa!", I almost yelled at the group in front of me. As soon as I told Anna about what happened, she called the whole gang for a rescue mission. Or as Merida would like to call it, "Save-Elsa-from-Hans-so-Jack-can-love-her-forever" mission.

But I just thought that comment was plain stupid at this moment. 

"Jack, calm down.", Rapunzel exclaimed. "We just can't barge into their hideout... uh... wherever that it."

"Punzie's right, Frosty.", Merida said. "You gotta learn some tricks 'n stuff before handling the big boys."

I frowned and slumped against my seat. This isn't my idea of a perfect birthday. I planned something really awesome for Elsa and I... supposedly tonight.

"Uh, so...", Hiccup interrupted the girls. "Do I need to take Toothless?"

Anna popped her head out from the huddle, "No... yes... maybe?"

Hiccup raised his eyebrow and dawdled to me.

"Jack, I have a feeling these girls shouldn't come with us.", he said.

Without anything else to say, I just nodded at him.

Minutes were passing by, and I was getting frantic. I know I have to get to Elsa right now.

I stood up, "You know what, guys? You all are useless."

They were all shocked.

"Whatever, I'm going to Elsa.", I said as I sped off.

I heard muffled sounds of them calling for me, but I just ignored them. I can't stand it to wait there while Elsa is in peril.

But where could she be?

Elsa

"Jack!", I yelled one last time. I wasn't sure if there was a window here, since the place was pitch black. I can't even see the ice that most probably covered the entire room already, due to my attempts to break free.

Somebody must have heard me, and I would use upto the very last croak of my voice... calling for someone... anyone. 

Hopeless, I slid down the pole and cried... the muffled sounds echoing in the room.

Where was Jack? Why hasn't he arrived yet? 
I was having second thoughts...

What if... this was part of the plan?
What if... he never comes for me...?

Those words roamed in my mind, and made me cry even more... though, I lost all the tears I could weep.

It wasn't clear to me on why Hans and Pitch would do such a thing like this. All Jack and I wanted was a peaceful life with each other... and it was his birthday today. Or at least I think it is. I haven't got a good look on my watch to see if it was already early morning

This isn't how I wanted my boyrfriend's birthday to be celebrated. I pictured out a movie marathon... or we would start playing Skyward Sword. He would laugh and run his fingers through his hair as I imagine him falling off Skyloft*, and he would wrap his arms around me... as if we were Link and Zelda on a loftwing*.

I closed my eyes and continued dreaming about the things that could have been.

Why can't my life be as simple as Anna's lovelife... or even Rapunzel's? What does all of these have to do with me? 

I wish there was a happily ever after in store for me and Jack in the future. I'm tired of crying all because of revenge and payback.

My face was stained with dry tears. I could no longer cry anymore. 

Suddenly, a faint light flickered towards the room. That meant... there is a window here.

I spoke with my rough, croaky voice, "Help..."

"Elsa?"

A/N: This thing is quite going fast... I hope that is fine for you. 

No, I am not rushing this for All Over Again. I am doing this for the sake of your feels xD

About the tragic ending that I was talking about in the previous Author's Note, I think you guys have to prepare yourselves for that. 

Hans is not killing anyone though :3

*Skyloft- These are the group of islands floating up in the sky of Hyrule. Link and Zelda live here.
*Loftwing- These are giant birds which each of the Skyloftians have, in order to travel through air.
