Nineteen: She Was My Sunlight

Jack

"We're ready.", I said as I held a long staff on my hand. Merida told me that she once read in a book that long sticks could strengthen my powers... I think. I don't always trust Mer, but I guess I have to right now.

Rapunzel gave me a worried look, "I guess..."

"Should I call them now?", I asked the group.

They gave me a quiet nod, which signaled me to grab out my phone to contact Elsa's number.

"Yes, Jack Frost?", Pitch cooed, which made my blood boil.

I took a deep breath, "I'm ready to fight."

All the rest I heard was an echo of dark laughter.

"Meet us at the abandoned warehouse 13 blocks away from the school.", Hans said.

This is it... 

I looked back at my friends... They had worried faces written all over their faces.

Elsa

I nudged the chains one more time. 

"Ugh!", I cried out in the dark cell. The chains were too strong for me to freeze all the way. The room was dark, and cold... and completely hopeless.

I felt like a week has already passed, and Jack is still not here... What if he never finds me?

The bitter feeling made my heart ache, and my knees to crumble... until I found myself laying on the floor... crying invisible tears.

"Get up, Arendelle.", Pitch barked out.

I raised my head up high and turned to his yellowish gaze. 

"Guess what?", he grabbed my chin. "Your little Romeo is coming for you."

My eyes widened, "J-jack?"

Hans appeared behind him, "Who else?". They laughed.

"He's going to defeat the both of you.", I declared with all the dignity that I still had left on my body.

"Him and what army?", Pitch said as black sand circled throughout the room.

I bit my lip. They were right...

"But we might as well end you before he gets here.", Pitch said. "So we can hide both of your bodies at the same time."

"Never.", I screamed and darted sharp ice at them, which Pitch defended quickly with a wall of sand.

Hans suddenly smacked my face...

The darkness was closing in... but before I closed my eyes, there was one thing that I saw outside of the window.

His silvery white hair

Jack

"Hans!", I called out as we got in the abandoned warehouse. Rapunzel and Merida were hiding in the shadows, since I was the only visitor that Hans and Pitch expected. Hiccup was back at Dragons Keep just in case we needed some extra fire in the place.

My voice echoed into the blank place. I don't think they led me into the place. The room was looked like it was showered in screams and covered with frost.

I could feel Elsa's waning power somewhere.

"Stay hidden", I said to the two girls. Merida's silver bow glowed as she hid behind a few draperies. Rapunzel was quietly humming... waiting for those two douchebags.

"Well, well.", Hans's voice called out. I turned my head around to spot him emerging from a hallway. "Welcome to your grave, Frost."

"It's not my grave.", I said as I walked forward. "It's yours."
I flashed a burning cold sheet of ice towards him, and he seemed to glide out of it. 

"Now, now, Frostie.", Pitch sang as he appeared beside Hans. "It's not only you who has powers 'round here."
He threw a handful of dust to me, which sent me flying backwards into the cold, frost-covered wall.

They walked towards me slowly, with devious smirks all over their face.

I held my head up high, remembering the two girls hidden behind the draperies.

"Now, now, Ginger.", I said to Hans as he frowned at the birth of his new nickname. "It's not only you who has sidekicks."

This gave Merida and Punzie the signal to come out of their hiding spot. The fiesty redhead quickly fired arrows at Hans and Pitch, but Pitch shielded the two of them with yet another wall of sand.

Rapunzel soon found a frying pan on the floor and started blocking out the sand that came for me.

A sound of loud wing flapping soon came into my ears. Toothless came in dashing through the big doors of the warehouse, flipping Hiccup on the floor.

"Go, Jack.", Punzie said. "Find Elsa. We'll take care of them here."

I gave her a quick nod and sneaked up to the stairs.

I got inside a cold room... I felt like this was surely the place where Elsa was hidden. A small ray of sunlight shone into the room... which particularly lit up a face on the floor.

"Elsa.", I whispered as I ran towards he cold body. Her face was covered in gashes, but her radiating beauty was all that I saw. I held her close to me, happy to find a faint heartbeat on her chest.

"It's all going to be over soon.", I whispered into her ear as I kissed her forehead.

Suddenly, Hans charged into the room firing flames at me. My eyes popped out as he sent a flameball towards my hand. 

I picked up my staff and summoned thick sheets of ice to him. He was captured in the ice, but he soon broke free and aimed a huge ball of fire at me.

"Goodbye, Jack Frost."

Elsa

My mind was floating around in a sea of thoughts, voices and visions. People were calling out for me, one of those people happen to be Jack.

"It's going all going to be over soon.", an angelic voice whispered to me. My eyes couldn't open, but I could feel the heat... which I thought was abnormal. It felt like a ball of fire.

I heard panting and feet jumping from here to there. I wanted to open my eyes for a second, but I just can't.

Suddenly, a voice called out... "Goodbye, Jack Frost."

My eyes bursted open as I leaped off the ground.

Jack

Hans released the ball of fire, and I expected every part of my body to hurt... Before I thought I was going to be hit, Elsa pranced towards me yelling, "No!!!"

She pushed me out of the fireball's range, which sent me to the wall. As I opened my eyes, I saw Elsa's body lying on the ground... her back extremely burnt...

"NO!", I charged to Hans and threw a huge block of ice that collided with his head. He landed on the ground, positively lifeless.

I ran to Elsa, freezing the chains with all my might until it broke. I cradled her head in my arms.

The gang ran upstairs to see me on the floor, crying at Elsa.

Rapunzel fell on her knees, "No..."

Merida kicked the wall and sobbed with Rapunzel.

While all of them was crying, I noticed a small silver pendant shatter on the floor... and then Elsa's hair suddenly faded into a dark chocolate color.

I gathered the remains of the snowflake pendant... recalling all the days that Elsa has worn it.

This was what they were after... I cried as I held Elsa's head closer to mine. A small blizzard formed inside the room, filled with anger and sadness.

Punzie slowly approached me, "Jack?"

"No,", I whispered. "Just leave me alone."

I could feel her sadness as she turned around and called out for the others to get outside of the cell. 

I needed some time alone... with her...

"Jack?", Elsa's faint voice whispered to me.

I held her face, "You're going to be just fine, okay Elsie?"

"It's okay Jack...", she replied. "You're gonna live witho-"

"No, I can't, Elsa.", I said. "And I won't, 'cause you're gonna live... and raise a family with me."

She smiled. "I love you Jack."

"I love you so much, Elsa.", I replied as my tears came rushing down my face.

Her breath stopped, and her head tilted down.

Her hair was now deep brown, the sign of the loss of her powers.

Her skin was now pale white, the sign of the loss of her life.

She was my sunlight... 

Now my sunlight is gone...

A/N: Now don't you worry, child. Every good thing comes to an end...

Except for INTG though... 'Cause this one is ending in Chapter Twenty!... which is... the next chapter....

Elsa is fine... she's just sleeping... I guess... Jack's fine... he's just mourning... I guess...

I can't thank you all enough for all of the feels and comments that you have showered all over this book. It's just beyond imaginable on what my simple writing could do to you.

I don't even think this book is as amazing as you say, but okay... :>

I'm SO SORRY... FOR ALL THE HEARTBREAK...

But since everything ends... This heartbreak WILL end :3
