Dear Diary, I met the cutest boy today. I tried approaching him but I was too frightened!
Though he did glance at me a few times and he smiled at me! Can you believe it? I think I have a new crush. His name is Ash, I found out from all the other girls who were drooling over him. Ugh. They don't deserve him. He's pure unlike those brats. I must protect him at all costs. Pure little Ash. I promise to keep him safe at all costs, nothing shall stop me from completing my promise. Oh, I must get going. Lucas is calling. Goodbye Diary, until next time.

I got to my feet, slipping on my slippers before happily running downstairs.
My siblings looked up and smiled once they spotted me.
Carmen hugged me the second I stepped off the last step. It had been four months since I last saw her.
"Nicole! I missed you so much," she exclaimed with glee in her voice.

"I missed you too," I replied, hugging my sister back.
Lucas laughed before calling us to the table to eat.

We sat down, chattering about how its been so long.
"So, how was your day at school," asked Lucas.

I gave them a closed eye smile, giggling, not letting them know of the promise I made to protect MY sweet Ash.
"Oh nothing much. Just the usual brother."
Little did he know how far I'll go to protect Ash.
