Kit's POV:

Today is the day we get to take our babies home and I'm am so happy to be doing that, because being stuck in a hospital for hours on end is depressing and Jude could not stand anymore. She's still sore, but she says our babies were worth every bit of pain she was in.

She sat on the edge of the bed, nursing both babies as she smiled at them, then me. Her smile is the best thing I have ever seen, besides when the babies do it. I am blessed to have this beautiful woman in my life and now, my children, that feels so good to say. I have a beautiful wife and two beautiful babies who I love more than anything else in this world.

"Honey, do you want me to burp one of them?" I asked as she smiled.

"Yes, take Josiah, he needs some boy time with daddy."

"Come here little man. Let's go for a walk to see Aunt Vivien."

I walked out of the room to see Vivien talking to the girls and Frank as they smiled.

"Hello there partner." Frank said as he caressed Josiah's cheek.

"Do you want to hold him?"

"Yes." He said as I easily put Josiah in his arms and Vivien smiled.

"You look just like your daddy Josiah."

"Attitude and all."

"And Kennedy looks just like Jude to a tee."

"She is a cutie. How's Jude doing?"

"She's sore, but doing exceptionally well."

"Do y'all need anything before you head home?"

"No, we're good. I packed everything last night and this morning, so y'all go on home and get some rest."

"We will."

...

They finally got on the road from the hospital as Jude could not help, but stare at her babies.

"It still feels like a dream to have them here with me." Jude said

"I know baby and you all still feel like a dream.''

"Can you believe I was already pregnant when we got married?"

"You certainly had a glow to you baby."

"These two made it all worth it, but you made me glow even more. They say that if a woman is loved properly and glows, that she has everything she needs.''

"Now babies, we're gonna go home and meet everyone, so we gotta be happy and smile."

"They'll be sleeping while people hold them."

"Honey?"

"Yeah."

"Thank you for everything."

"You're welcome baby, now we're almost home."

...

They arrived at their house to see balloons tied to their mailbox and a banner staked in the ground.

"They're home!" Pepper said as she patiently awaited for Kit to help Jude out of the car.

"It feels so good to be home." Jude said as she was ready to go in.

...

Later on that day

Jude was nursing Josiah and Kennedy both when Kit walked in to see if she needed anything.

"Hey baby, do you need anything?"

"No honey. I have everything I need right here with me." She smiled as he laid down beside of her.

"Our babies are just like daddy, aren't they?"

"They can't get enough like you." Jude said as she laughed.

"That's because mommy is too irresistible." Kit said as he kissed her cheek.

"I love you." Jude said

"I love you more." Kit said

Josiah and Kennedy were done feeding as they each burped a baby when Pepper came in.

"Which baby would you like to hold Pepper?"

"Hand Kennedy to her. I have to use the restroom real quick." Jude said as Kit helped her off the bed as she walked into the bathroom.

She finished as she washed her hands and turned out the light as she went back into her room to see Pepper holding a snuggled up Kennedy to her chest.

"She's precious, ain't she?" Jude asked her.

"Yeah."

"It's sometimes feels like a dream that their here now. Like I'll wake up and still feel that I'm in that horrid cell again." Jude felt a heaviness and a keen void inside of her.

"Jude, you'll never have to worry about that ever again." Pepper said

"You and Kit, I'll never be able to repay you for all that you done for me."

"You have Jude, you never have to worry about ever feeling like you're alone again." Pepper said

"Does it still haunt you?"

"Sometimes."

"I did a lot of rational thinking in there, well until those tranquilizers messed with my head, my mind and my whole entire body."

"Like what kind of thinking?"

"Those three men will get what they deserve one of these days. I know you're supposed to forgive a man of a higher arch than you, but he stripped me of my title and locked me away."

"You mean the Monsignor?"

"Yes."

"Kit is going to get mad if you mention him."

"He already knows about it." Jude said as she went to get Kennedy.

She laid in her arms, just smiling up at her as her heart filled with love again. She could not believe sh gave birth to two beautiful babies. It was dream she thought that would never come true, but now, she would not trade it for anything in this world.

...

Later on that night

Kit fixed a lovely dinner for all three of them as Jude sat down with Kennedy nestled against her chest and Josiah against Kit's.

"This looks wonderful honey."

"I got it out of your cookbook."

"Looks like chicken and rice with veggies." Pepper said.

"I heard it helps with the consumption of the milk supply." Jude said.

"Go ahead ladies, see what you think." Kit said as they indulged.

"It's amazing baby." Jude said as Kit smiled.

"Wait till Josiah and Kennedy can have some." Kit said as Jude chuckled. 

"It'll be awhile before that happens dear. Now, let's have some quiet time before the real fun starts." Jude said as she seen them asleep in their swings.

...

Later on that night

Jude settled easily into their bed after a nice shower as she nursed the babies once again before bedtime as Kit sat by her side.

"Josiah, you're taking after your daddy already." Jude said as Josiah eagerly nursed on her breast.

"No one can get enough baby."

"Not in front of the babies."

"They have no idea what I'm saying honey, now which baby do you want me to burp?"

"Take Josiah. He wants some quality time with daddy." Jude said as Josiah quit nursing and she handed him to Kit.

Kit lifted him up on his shoulder as his baby boy cooed and he started patting his back to burp him.

"Was dinner excellent tonight little man?" Kit asked him.

"Of course it was. He'll be having this dinner for awhile." Jude said

"Enjoy it while you can."

"There's enough to go around honey." Jude winked at him.

"It's amazing what you babies can make mommy do."

"Like having to use the bathroom every five minutes a day."

"We also have to be extra nice to mommy and let her get lots of rest, so she'll wake up and not be as grumpy."

"Honey, these two will be our alarm clocks for awhile."

"I know, but I want him to know that for future purposes."

"We're in for it."

"But it's worth it."

"I agree!" Jude said das Kennedy finished nursing as she lifted her up onto her shoulder and started burping her.

...

Jude was asleep when she started dreaming, but not the good one she wanted to have.

Jude was walking outside on a path up to a fancy looking church as she seen little kids playing and seen a familiar looking face as he turned around.

"Rare bird, come here." That voice and that name she knew all too well.

She wanted to wake up from this dream, but what did he want?

"Jude, the babies are with Mother Claudia as they are waiting to be fed."

"Timothy?"

"Are you alright dear?"

"Not really. Stay the hell away from me and my children!" She pointed firmly and looked at him.

"You've been acting strange lately. Do I need to call the doctor again?"

"No! Just leave me alone, alright? You had your chance, two chances and you blew them. Just leave me alone and let me be with my husband and kids.'' Jude said as she held her head.

"Jude, I'm your husband." Timothy said

"No chance in hell would I ever want to be married to you. I'm going home now and getting out of this awful habit and wimple."

"And our children?"

"Those are not your children."

"Did you slip and fall again?"

"Yeah, but you did not help me up. I'm done with you and this little charade you're playing. Have a nice day Timothy and I hope life without me gives you a little since what you did to me was so very wrong." Jude said as she woke up and say up, but careful not to wake Kit up.

"Baby?"

"Sorry, I had another bad dream."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No honey, I just want you to hold me."

"Come here. I'll always be here to hold you baby."

"I know you will."

"Good night baby doll." Kit said as he held her against him.

"Good night baby. I love you so much."

"I love you too baby."

They drifted off to sleep again, hoping not to have anymore bad dreams again, just the comfort and sounds of her husband's snoring and their babies soft cooing filling their room.

Jude felt safe in her own little world with them, her girls, her job and the people she loved the most. She smiled at them and rest her head on Kit's chest as she felt her body relax.
